I’m having issues with my buttons. All my pricing/purchase buttons lose format when I input the purchase URL. They become a link rather than a button. You can see on my website the slider, call to action, and pricing table buttons are all messed up.

Can you see why the overview section at http://garderobemanagement.nl/ behaves weird? There are 7 sections. If I click the more button I get 4 colums, then 3 blank + 1 (i.e. 5th DIV is right aligned), then 2. I already reduces images sizes from 220 to 218, added extra blank lines to the 4th overview, to no avail. Spitting through the generated HTML and the CSS files I could not see what’s going on. When using shortcode buttons how can you get the links to open in a new tab/window but only when linking to external sites?

My site is JourneyToTheJacksonsBook.com. The YouTube video won’t play on people’s mobile devices. The thumbnail appears, you press it, and nothing plays. The screen oftentimes turns to black. I’m getting complaint after complaint after complaint with this. Please advise.
Hi and thanks for your purchase. Yeah you are right, i assume there’s something wrong with the youtube plugin (maybe have a conflict with the latest version of jQuery) – anyway, i will need to check on this and provide a fix for the next theme update.

Hello. I bought your theme and am trying to adapt it to an existing site I already had for my book and related services. I am running into some issues with the navigation.
1. I have a logo that is 250 X 130. I know that is bigger than you suggest, but the title of my book is long and a smaller logo just didn’t look right as well as I have name recognition for the existing one. I tried to adapt the CSS on the menu to make it work and found something I liked by decreasing the margins. Using the inspector element, I can see that there are 441.50px right and left margins, but can’t find it in the style sheet so I can change. Can you point me in the right direction?
2. I had existing pages on my site that I still want to use. I changed my menu items to links instead of pages, but they still don’t work in the navigation. The names are just text, not links. Can you advise on this?

1.) I’m afraid i don’t know what have you found with 441px margin, the logo is relative to the layout without side margins.. I assume you need to increase the height of the header like this:
#header { height: 130px; }
but it may still requires some css modifications, it depends on your navigation style. I think the most quick way is to give me your site link and i give you the proper css snippet to align the header nicely.
2.) I can’t say for sure because haven’t seen your site yet, but i assume you tried to add “Page” type menu items instead of “Link” type, where you could add your specific URL you need. Please check the referring part of creating menu items in the theme documentation.

I am using the theme (which I love).
Problem: I am selling my ebook with gumroad. That means when people click on a “buy now” button an popup overlay cart appears over the page. When this happens with your theme, the top half of the popup goes under the navigation (so the navigation bar is layered on top of the pop up) making it too hard to read. Is there a simple solution to this?

This means the header and the nav has higher z-index than your overlay layer, so it will goes above it. The solution is to give your overlay layer a higher z-index attribute than 9999. Drop me your site link and i will help you finding out the proper element to modify. Cheers, Erik

I know this is a landing page theme but is it possible to add separate pages that don’t appear on the Homepage but can be reached via the menu e.g. Resources, Links etc.?

Hello, yeah you can add separate pages, but there are no different page templates as it is usual at the multipage themes. FlatBook has only one separate page template yet, where you can add shortcodes and basic html snippets. I have a question about the logo and retina displays. So, my logo is at 170×39 at 72dpi, and it looks great when viewing on a desktop, but on my iPhone it looks very Blurry:

So, I tried it on the sample page with the logo and it works perfect. But, when I tried it on the Logo in the nav bar its starts stretching really bad…. This pic below shows exactly what Im talking about. These 2 logos are the same exact file, and they both are being replace with a @2x file. ONLY the logo in the nav bar starts stretching:

Regarding the retina version of the logo, you don’t need to upload a double sized version of any of the images because the theme includes a retina script what auto generates a double sized version of every image you upload from the admin area.
If the auto generated one becomes blurry (like in your case with the logo), feel free to overwrite the file (...../logo@2x.png) with your manually created, double sized image (via ftp connection).

Hey Dan and thanks for your purchase! The reason you see the shortcode appearing there is because you added the shortcode to the form title field, what expects any call to action text you wish, like “Get in touch with us” or anything you prefer..
With the login credentials sent, i added some placeholder title and button text for the contact form, and now it looks as expected.

Hello, I just purchased your template and love it. Just one question. I have a white nav bar color. So, How can I change the color of just the “hamburger” 3line icon in the nav?
I also have the the lower nav bar set to visible, and the white color fonts there is fine, Its just when I open it on the phone the hamburger icon gets lost in my white top nav bar. Please help

Sorry—EEEK! Here is the link http://www.coe21.com/ the the picture itself is a lot larger than what is displaying, the template is blowing the image it up and only displaying a small portion of of the image, does that make sense?
Ohh, i see what are you pointing at. That’s because of the css attribute background-size: cover, what basically means that the slider image is zoomed on smaller screens to always fit the different aspect ratios of the slider.
@media screen and (min-width: 1000px) {
#slider { background-size: 100% auto; }
}
It will force the slider image to display in it’s full width on every screen with a larger screen width than 1000px. Cheers, Erik

I am now trying to integrate Mailchimp into the contact form. On that page, it says to enter the “unique link.” Since I am a new user of Mailchimp, I’m not sure what that is referring to.
