1. Currently the images look correct on that particular post. If you can enable one such image on a test post, kindly send me the link.

2. FB sharing requires proper OG tags to be inserted in header. This is done automatically if you enable theme’s built in social sharing inside Theme Options. But since the built in sharing is disabled, it will be required to add OG tags separately. You can use this plugin, or enable built in FB sharing.

3. This can be done, but will require code change inside single.php file. Sidebars can be loaded within in_category(‘xx’) conditional check. Instead of hard coding, you can choose sidebar usage on blog pages as sidebar_a or sidebar_b. That will apply to all posts and archives.

May be all your posts are filed in “uncategorized” category. And using -1 is skipping those posts. Can you confirm that the category ID of your main category is not 1.

It will be required to unzip the main download first. Next, look for the folder named ‘volt’. This is the actual installable theme which you can ZIP and upload to WordPress.

You can also download installable theme file only (from your downloads section) which can be directly uploaded to WordPress.

Kindly also check the documentation/index.html file inside your main download ZIP. It contains instructions on theme installation and configuration.

When https is used on site, there is some mixed content (both http and https). Any hard coded URLs in theme or content may require changing to https. Inside theme, there are no hard coded URLs (except flickr widget) for http, so I can confirm there is no issue from theme side. In order to fix mixed content issues, check this document.

Open volt/woocommerce/global/wrapper-start.php and change the version name 1.6.4 to 2.2. Do this for the wrapper-end.php file too. The notice is shown only because the version name in template overridden file is lower than the latest version. I will update this in main download too.

Thank you for quick response. I could remove the space between but I still have the main menu under the top menu bar. I use UberMenu for navigation. Can this be the reason why I can’t remove it? What else can I do?

Second, I have WooCommerce cart button on the right of the top menu. But, its position is nearly on the right edge of the top bar. I would like to have it justified with the right sidebar. Thank you for help.

Nice Mate. thanks. I wrote it because I was afraid of losing good stuff that was put into the pages. I know I might lose the modifications in css files but I won´t lose the standard codes added into the pages like sliders, columns; categories codes etc. Right?

Content will not be affected with latest update. If you had any custom CSS styles, you can keep a backup of those files and place back the CSS styles in latest theme. This time either use the child theme or place styles in user.css file so that those can be kept separate during updates.

Logo and header widget area are divided in 20% and 80% width respectively. This can be changed by adding the following rules in user.css file:

.brand {
    max-width: 20%; /* Change to 40% */
}

.header_widget_area {
    max-width: 80%; /* Change to 60% */
}

Change 20% and 80% to 40% and 60%, or according to the desired width. That will prevent logo from scaling down.

Awesome. Thanks for that snippet. I also have one more question. I’m not sure if you support this or not, but I am trying to use bbpress for a forum. The issue is this… I do not want to use the sidebars A & B on the forum pages. Instead, I’m trying to make the page full width by making a new php file and naming it bbpress.php with the code for the full width file in it. Then I am using bbpress WP Tweaks plugin to make a forum specific sidebar. Problem is… It’s not showing up on the forum page at all… I’m thinking it might have something to do with the coding for the full width page from the theme. If not, please guide me in the right direction. The site url I’m talking about is schoolofswords.com/community . I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here.

Currently the sidebar is showing correctly on your forum page. Kindly let me know if you have already fixed the issue. Your approach of creating bbpress.php for a full width page is correct.

Currently the content area div has class name as content_medium. If you want no sidebar, open bbpress.php and change the class name of content div to content_full. That will make it a full width page with no sidebar. You can take code reference from the volt/page-full.php file.

Thanks for the purchase and kind feedback. After changing settings, it will be required to regenerate thumbnails as described on top of the “Image Sizes” section.

Please also note that images will resize only if the source image is bigger than the specified dimension. i.e. use featured images of bigger size so that they can be down scaled.

Thank you for kind words and feedback. Page templates are only for pages. They can not be applied on posts. In order to choose sidebar alignment for posts, use the global sidebar settings inside Appearance > Volt Options > General.

If the Author box still do not appear, kindly send me the URL of that particular page. I will check it.
