hi can i create a page that include location-event just like location – category(brooklyn-food)?
ive tried different ways but the only i think it could work on it is a different page template like item list but with events. how can i add this template?

There are lot of bugs.
1. Map did not work properly on listing. Every time i save it, It disappear on page load unless I go to WordPress dashboard and put coordinates. I think this is not picking the coordinates from the front-end. 2. This made my browser hang. Here is an example – http://javo.elicus.com/item/tech-mahindra/ 3. Why there are so many style-sheet in media library(Upload folder) Looking forward for quick resolutions.

Was almost gogin to buy it, but same old points as other themes fail with.
Listings : This needs to be ajax loaded for sub cats, buttons would be nice just click on cat – loads next cat,
Location, You have a text field and a map – well which one?? Be ncie if the map worked, its completely useless and does nothing to populate the address field.
The map should be under the cat, drag and drop, fills out the address automatically like most systems do.
CSV import?
perhaps I should buy it and program it up. ? seems like updates aren’t really happening or addressed very well at all on here. let us know please.

I am sure if I understood clearly. I think you need these options. however it seems to be little different from what we have. unfortunately we don’t provide cvs import. yes you need to work on bulk import at this moment.

Hey, we really like the theme and are looking at replacing our current directory. Is it possible to upload a large .csv file and have it populate the search results? Or does every file need to be entered individually?

We currently have a directory and want one that is more up-to-date and eye pleasing. There is no way we could enter each business. We loaded all of them by csv. Please get that capability. That would be perfect!

Hello! We start new project and for that purpose we buy your theme “Javo Directory”. We want to ask you something about the map and locations. We have 1 option to add item location that show our place on Google Street View… OR on Google Business View /where the virtual visitor is inside our place /... Is it possible to include that option twice… so administrators to add their places to Street View AND to Business view? Thank you.

Hello guys, i have an issue with the contact tab which include Google Map for driving or walking and TRANSIT: the issue is every time i choose the transit option, it can`t give a list of any can`t of Transit, Driving or other options working well. Is the theme missing some thing for Transit option? Thank you.

We have just tested it and some locations are working fine with transit. but no driving. It’s what google API provide. there will be better one on the next update. it shows details directions.

Is this visual composer for the user or for the administrator, or for both? What i want is the user to be able to use the visual composer from is account and edit/create pages as they like. Is this possible?

visual composer is for administrator or some users you allowed to use back-end. visual composer is very great plugin however it’s still not easy for normal users to create pages and posts. it’s really good for us (who are working on web industry)

So if one or all registered user request to have the page/account extended/edited, the administrator can do that for each one or everyone by using the cv, right?
users have to use front-end form only. and administrator can use both. however it’s provided visual composer for items. visual composer is for creating normal pages. you can still use it but some part might be not showing such as summary on list.
Is there a way to test the theme with the vc? Must know what i am doing to do.

Hello, I really appreciate your theme and your support. However your knowledge database is not big (in fact quite empty).So sometimes it’s difficult to know if we have a bug or if we do wrong. I know that that you’re very busy to update the theme and cant’t develop this database.

For example big issues with the map/location module. It does not work correctly (In particular, I have this kind of erro for all the items I create or the ones I edit (A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. First of all, We are sorry for the map location issue, I will answer your ticket soon. we have many support issues and we hired one more assistance to make it faster. however we have really many support issue. not even our theme options. some of them are very new in wordpress. we try to answer within 24 hours but not on Friday if you leave late time (our time). Downloaded the so called latest update and still the same problem of blank page. Getting so tired of this now. This theme is starting to cause me more grief through waiting for updates for it even to be working at all! I am using a child theme, I have disabled that and still blank page. YAWN

For me the update does not work and has the same problem of the blank white page. I have deleted the theme and uploaded the latest update as normal but still nothing. I have also refreshed perma links and saved theme. I have the catagory boxes for home page and am using the original child theme, any ideas?
UPDATE: I wish you had posted this link that shows where to save the theme settings as I was saving them on the default wordpress page! http://javothemes.com/forum/knowledgebase/blank-page-after-you-update-new-theme/
It works now! I look forward to the big update in the next few days as promised then i can at least start using this theme

PreSale Questions – I am currently using a different directory theme for wordpress which I’m not too happy with at the moment. This theme looks great and has many things that I need. However it would be great if you could clarify some things with me:
- 1)Are there packages in this theme? For example, you can either choose a free account or choose a package that costs $15 or another one that costs $30
- 2) If there are packages then are there restrictions where the free account cannot include a video etc.?
- 3) Is there options for featured listings which appear at the top of the search results?
- 4) For search results, can you set it to be a list as default instead of grid?
- 5) Is it possible to rename My Shops to My Business?
- 6) On your demo, in the menu “list by” option it says by location and brooklyn with map. Are these pages automatically created or do I have to create a custom page for each location that I want?

2. at this moment, it’s only for amount of posting. we will add more.
3. it’s on our plan. it’s on our plan.
4. do you mean maps or archive. we have only this style for now.
5. You can rename others and slug (on next update). but not item name.
6. those page are custom pages which you can create some specific locations, categories or both. ex) coffee shops in brooklyn. you can also add some custom header design such as fancy images / banners, sliders. Archive listings are generated automatically.
