The theme looks exactly like that I wanted. However, I must say I am a bit disappointed. The image gallery can only be presented in grid format and it’s not full-width. Unless I have missed something somewhere, I haven’t been able to find out otherwise. A masonry option should be there as well an option to display the gallery in full-width.
Secondly, it’s not possible to have an image gallery using Visual Composer independent of the pre-existing categories.
I hope these two points can be addressed in a future release.
Thank you.
Hi,
Can you please be more specific which gallery(s) exactly are we talking about: there’s “Photo Album” post type that can be displayed in numerous ways. There’s also a standard WordPress gallery build into posts.
Also I’m not sure I understood the question about Composer. Please be more descriptive. Thanks!
Hi Again,
OK. I had pointed out two things and one of them is very well presented by thausler below. I said the same thing that image gallery in VC doesn’t allow for some random images individual to that post. You’ve answered that point.
My other point was: in the Album Post, there are options to show media as: slideshow, gallery, list and photoscroller. I was complaining that there wasn’t a masonry option available and secondly there was no full-screen option to display the gallery (or masonry should it become available).
I also have The7 theme and I think Armada is more refined in may ways. The visual aesthetics in Armada are better.

Hi,
Understood. Thank you very much for feedback!
We’re only in the beginning of journey with Armada. Though it is one of the most feature-rich themes on the market, you fairly noted that we still need to figure out many things
I think we’ll address most of your concerns in upcoming updates.
Hi,
Is it possible switch to Armada from the7
Thanks
Hi,
Yes. But I recommend you to hold on switching
Presale Q!

Hello,
Sounds like the theme file(s) was damaged during theme installation. This may happen sometimes when installing theme via FTP. You can try reinstalling the theme.
BUT I highly recommend you to submit a request via our online help-desk http://support.dream-theme.com – our guys will get back to you ASAP and take a look what is wrong.
Thanks!
Taht was my first idea, infact I post here after have installe d the theme twice, with the same error. I’ll write again in the support forum, thank you for your quick reply.
How can I import layout like this: http://armada.dream-demo.com/home/creative/4-creative/
Do you have any DEMO files? Thank you.
Martin.
Hi,
Please check the “Dummy” folder of full theme package. All required demo files are there.
Nice theme, good luck
Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you, Bedros!
hi and congrats for your new piece of art!
some questions please:
1. vc frontend editing?
2. theme auto update? (envato kit or ?)
3. custom fonts upload?
4. google fonts char/subset set for greek etc?
5. youtube/vimeo for row backgrounds? (or “just” self-hosted videos)
6. woocommerce catalog mode?
7. easy replacement of the font icons used in hover actions (eg. use another icon in place of arrow when hover on portfolio items etc)
8. ability to use videos, sliders etc in page headers?
9. ability to hide header / footer in specific pages
sorry for so many questions
thx!
Hi,
1. Yes, but I personally don’t like it – it is still sloppy on big pages.
2. Yes.
3. Via FTP. Native support (no bells and whistles like in The7 at this moment): http://guide.dream-theme.com/armada/user-guide/general-guidelines/font-awesome-icons/
4. Our support guys will help to enabled it.
5. Not yet. Only “self-hosted” option. Working on it.
6. Yes.
7. These are inline .SVGs. Same as in The7.
8. Yes, absolutely.
9. Yes, with “Microsite” page template.
> sorry for so many questions
No problem. Always glad to help
Kind regards,
Miroslav (from Dream-Theme)

7. so can we choose other font icons with custom css or other easy way? bcoz we do not want to look the same with all your clients!...
10. is/will bbpress/buddypress supported?
cheers!
7. To make 100% sure we’re talking about same things. Where exactly you want to change those icons?
If we’re talking about icons on portfolio/gallery hovers, this can be done in theme CSS files (icons are inline SVGs). If you can figure out the way to change things like icon-fonts, inline .SVGs will not be a problem for you
10. We had no time to test it with these plugins YET. I suspect that Armada will work fine with bbPress. I cannot comment on buddyPress since we never made such themes.
Great work done. Congrats and GLWS
Thanks for the kind words!
Does Armada have the options like the7 to use image backgrounds for the top bar, header and footer?
Hi,
Yes. And even much more
You can take a look at theme user manual if you like: http://guide.dream-theme.com/armada/
Congrats!
Awesome theme
Thank you!
This is outstanding… finally. A website for photographers that can display their art LARGE, and sell prints. Wish each image in the gallery could be hooked into the shopping cart – can they? What about a “subscribe to our mailing list” pop up sign up form? Also, the shopping home page – I can incorporate any “Stack” you have on the other creative versions right? Thanks so much for your design efforts on this one. Troy
Hello,
> Wish each image in the gallery could be hooked into the shopping cart – can they?
You can put links to WooCommerce goods on images in gallery. But this requires some additional work. So I’d say this can be improved – we just need figure out how
> What about a “subscribe to our mailing list” pop up sign up form?
You can use your favorite “subscribe” plugin for that.
> Also, the shopping home page – I can incorporate any “Stack” you have on the other creative versions right?
I’m not sure what the “stack” is, but you can have [almost] any imaginable page as a homepage. So using a shop as a homepage is not a problem.
Yea. That’s the ONLY thing that’s lacking on this site. Each photo has to be a product itself if a photographer wants to sell an image.
If someone wants to purchase an image from a gallery – they’d have to either 1) add that image to the shopping cart so both the purchaser and ME knows which image they want to buy OR the store sets up a general product and the customer enters the name of the image. But each gallery image needs to be able to display a title then. I’d prefer the easier user experience obviously of just adding the image they want to the cart. Think you’ll work on this?
THIS is what’s missing in the entire theme forest marketplace.
the store layout page also displays portrait and not landscape (great for t-shirts, terrible for a landscape photo). This also is lacking in all e-commerce templates on theme forest. Be the pioneers!
Thank you for feedback! As I said, stuff mentioned above cannot be done with WooCommerce easily. Therefore we still need to figure out the way how it can be done. At this moment we’re looking at “easy digital downloads” plugin.
If that plugin can function for gallery images as “products” and not just digital downloads, then go for it.
Good luck with your sales!
Thank you!
Good day. I would like to buy. Can I have images, photos or even sliders as background?
Hi,
Sliders – no. Other stuff – yes.
amazing…i got to have it..
ps. can we add music to certain aspects.
Hi, Thanks!
There’s no build in player in Armada, but I’ll ask our support guys to find a plugin that will suit the theme nicely.
As promised, our guys tested couple of “player” plugins. Here’s one they recommend most: http://support.dream-theme.com/knowledgebase/audio-plugin-suggestion/
Nice addition to the portfolio guys. Well done and hope you get lots of buyers !!
Thank you, colleague
Any way to access the Theme Options screen? Any kind of “demo account”? So I can solve a lot of pre-sale questions by myself!
Hi,
There’s no “Live Demo” thing yet. But theme user guide is available online: http://guide.dream-theme.com/armada/ . Maybe it will give you answers you need. Otherwise feel free to contact me via PM.
