Ah I see, currently the boxed mode will box everything in, including a full width slider. However, some good news is that the Layer Slider has the capability to fall outside of the boxed mode. so you could use that slider instead.

The layer slider does allow for self hosted videos now according to their item page.
Hello, I’ve purchased this theme once and totally loved it. Would now like to sell to another client but before I get there buy in can I use the theme files from before to create a home and than purchase another license on approval? Thanks

Thanks for the purchase and renewed interest! Yes you can do that as long as it stays in that type of environment. once it is approved or moves to a published server (finalized site then you would need to buy a second copy.

The colors and opacity of teh background are on the styling tab under element colors. The text color is for a heading and for body on the typography tab.

Hi I have a question. I need to install self hosted video on the home page as a full screen video and make sure that it plays on smatrphone and iPads. Is that possible with your theme?

Self hosted videos are not compatible with mobile devices yet, that is true for any theme. It is not dependent on the theme itself, but the mobile technology. Let’s hope that changes soon!
Avada is setup to take a video preview image that will display on mobile devices and older browsers that do not support self hosted videos.

ok. and is there a way to insert self hosted video to the Revolutin slider on anywhere else? I tried to insert video to the revolution slider and it doesn’t work:(. I need a full screen video just like you have in the demos. Thank you!:) J.
Yes the Rev slider and Fusion Slider both take self hosted videos. It will work in both of those as you see on our demo. just make sure you are uploading the correct files there. You need the mp4 and webm file for each one.
Also, you can import our Fusion Sliders as well from our docs, look under Sliders > Import Our Demo Sliders.

ok great that worked!:) thank you…now just one more question…I need the video to stop at certain time (with logo staying on the screen). But after the video is finished there is just a balck creen. The video in cut exactly with the correct timing…it just when I add it to the website it end with the black screen. is there a way in the code somewhere to tweak it? It’s very important for my client….

I would contact your host and show them the error, they cna adjust accordingly.

Hi, is it possible set the value of the #main {padding-top …} in the setting of the general theme. where is the field for this? I have #main {padding-top: 55px}, can i change this value in all the pages or I need to open every page and change this value? thanks

after installing Avada theme ,SliderRevolution,LayerSlider can be installed ,but how to update them ? it is request purchased code. we have no .The slider plugins have to be updated with the theme, when you buy a theme that bundles them you do not get an individual purchase code for the plugins. To get auto updates on the plugins, you would need to buy a single license for them by themselves.
Anytime we issue a theme update, we include the latest version of each one.

Yes, when the theme update is released, it will contain the updated slider plugins. This is the method that is always used by us and any other theme that includes sliders. It has to be this way due to licensing rules.

I have version 3.1.1 and the client slider does not show some time, do you think that upgrade to the latest version will fix the issue or this is a java issue?

The client slider should work, if it does not then it could be due to a 3rd party plugin, or a code customization.
If you have customized the coded files then hopefully you used a child theme, if not then those changes will be lost when you update.
Regular changes like with our theme options, page options, page/post content will not be lost, that info is stored in your wp database.
A lot of major changes have been done since 3.1.1 so I would recommend making a copy of your live site and testing it out.

Is this theme compatible with custom metaboxes and filed from WebDevs?

We’ve not tested that ourselves so cannot guarantee it, however it should be fine. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

When I google our website’s name, it shows the website’s title, and “Homearevik2014-10-02T23:45:05+00:00 …” under the title. I don’t want to display that data in google. It is a major issue for my client, because it shows my username under their website name. Any ideas how I could fix it?

Go to the advanced tab in theme options and choose to disable dates on page “Disable Rich Snippets Sitewide”. Once you do it will take a little time for it to propagate across google/web.

Hi. Great theme. Do you know if anyone else had trouble installing it. I’m on my forth attempt in the last hour, but it just constantly loads without getting anywhere, and says it waiting for my domain.

Are you only uploading the Avada.zip file? Make sure that is the only one you are uploading. It could be due to file upload size limit, see this post here: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this/
