Hi, satellite 7 is a great theme! I’m trying to find a shortcode which will display the same as the [recent_products] shortcode, but where I could select a product category or a list of product instead of the more recent products. Does this shortcode already exist? Many thanks for your help, Mat

You could use the “product_category” shortcode to list products by category. Here is an example of the shortcode, which you can modify and input your category slug instead of the one we put (“cases”) :
[product_category per_page="12" columns="4" order_by="date" order="desc" category="cases"]

The fade animation for loading pages seems to conflict with using the meta wordpress widget, when I click “log in” the page fades out and is stuck on a white page and doesn’t bring up the log in menu until I refresh the page manually. Is there a fix for this?

Yes, some plugins which place their JS initialization code in header will not load when page is loaded via ajax. You can either disable page transitions from page containing plugin in Qode Custom Fields or you can ask plugin maker if the initialization code can be placed in the body of the page.

Hi there!! Great theme, but there is a problem with the LayerSlider Purchase Code. It says: “You’ve reached the maximum number of authorized installations for this purchase code. Enter another purchase code or deauthorize sites before trying to add new ones.”, when in fact I haven’t use it at all so far.. Please advise. Thanks!!

You shouldn’t enter purchase code at all and plugin will work fine, as we own extended license allowing us to include plugin with the theme, but we need to provide updates of the plugin and we can’t share our purchase code, as it’s not allowed to do so.

You can use this shortcode:

However, you can also just go to your page from the back end and select the portfolio list shortcode from the shortcode list and there you will get a pop-up box where you can select options for your portfolio list:

You can set a space between your paragraphs by going to Qode Options > General Font Options > Text and setting some value in the “Top/Bottom margin” field.

HI, I’ve opened a ticket over at the qode website but since its faster to get an answer here, I’m writing one here too.
I was wondering where do i have to look in the css file to find the part that manages google font loading? The part that includes ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans', and I’ve already fixed functions.php and just wondering if there’s any other places i need to look up.

Yes, Google font including is in functions.php, and if you have changed it, just adjust the stylesheet.css (stylesheet.min.css) attribute to use your new font.

If you mean on Google Fonts, then you should need to fix the style_dynamic.php file also. But we also use the googleapi for Google Map on contact-page.php and for Google Analytics in header.php file.
