Few questions regarding this theme….
1) How customizable is the Search Box on the home page of your demo? Additional fields, items in the dropdowns, etc.
2) I see a few areas on the demo site that have parallax sections but the images are not spanning the full width of my browser window – http://cl.ly/image/1O2y3G1R3p04/o – What grid system are you using and does your builder allow for full-width sections?
3) I am very skeptical of themes that provide their own page builder rather than using WP Bakery’s Visual Composer, I have had several bad experiences recently with other themes because of this. What makes yours different from the others in terms of user-friendliness? How customizable can you get with each page element.
4) The Search Bar on the “Places” & “Hotels” pages is a nice feature, is this a shortcode that could be placed on other pages as well? i.e. Places Detail page. Or is this a specific template page just for the Places index page?
5) There are some misc code mishaps sprinkled throughout the theme I see, for example – http://cl.ly/image/1S2Z1d1k3Y0O – font-family: woocommerce; seems to be failing.
6) I know this is a silly question because nobody seems to be doing this, is there a way to test out the Admin dashboard, like a Demo login? I am really skeptical after having 2 themes, back to back, be complete failures in terms of functionality. This is another theme that looks really pretty on the front-end, but so were the others.

Also, when I add something to the “cart” or “wishlist” in your demo, and I go to view either or those items, it says that “cart is empty” or “there are no items in your wishlist”, is this a bug are is this how your demo is set up? I would like to see how both features are set up and styled as well.

1) You can enable disable the fields from the search box from backend options. For adding custom fields you need to customize the code.
2) We checked in safari and our parallax section is working good.
3) Yes, we do have a easy and very user friendly page builder accompanied with the theme page. It is easy to use compared to other page builder.
4) In the “Pages” section of dashboard we have a metabox for enabling and disabling the search box. So you can have it in any pages, provided the pages should be in the Dashboard -> Pages.
5) We will try to fix it in next update.

Hi,
When designing a package is there any way to change “No of days” to just simply “Nights” ? and also can you change people to “Rounds” as in rounds of golf ?
Please note leaving these options empty, blank or by inputting a zero does not remove the info from showing like had been previously suggested. The price is not showing on the package, is there any reason for this ?
If this is not possible then what would you advise as we are a golf tour operator and need to show this info.

In home page you cannot have a sidebar, because home is assigned with full width template. So assigning sidebar to full width template is not possible. You can have it in other pages only like the page link you sent.

Theme styling seems to be conflicting with Woo-Commerce. When creating an External/Affiliate Product or use the Product Retailer plugin for woocommerce it outputs a link rather than a button. I’ve tested to see if it was the theme by enabling another theme and it worked perfectly there.

are links that have no styling. If I change templates they show up as buttons. According to woo-commerce they should take on the same appearance as the “add to cart” button

Regarding the first question, i meant the email should also contain the Hotel ID. So when a user sees a hotel, pushes Book Now… u get an email with all the details name, tel, mail, date of arrival, plus the hotel/offer(Link+Title) Thanks

How to translate the theme into another languages? Thank you in advance

a) You can find the default.po file in the themes folder itself. Get into this path wp-content/themes/trendytravel/languages and you can find the default.po file.
b) If you are running a multi language site, you need to install the wpml plugin.
c) Or if you are running a single language site other than English. Say for example if you are running German site only. Go to wp-config.php and change the language code as define(‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE’);
d) Then rename the file default.po to de_DE.po and open the file with a poeditor and you can translate all the texts from our theme.
e) Finally you will get the mo file there. Uploading that mo file the site will be fully translated to German.

We have included this option in our theme update.
Kindly, follow the below steps to update the theme.
1) Download the theme from themeforest page.
2) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
3) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
4) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through FTP.
5) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
6) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. That’s it.
Now you are updated to the latest version.
