I think it’s normal. there is also soft scrolling option. you can turn on/off. I think you want to have one page without tabs. we have a plan for it. it will be in the future.

Hello, About: Javo Directory Theme When I ‘m scrolling up or down the page, the video in the banner (revolution slider -build in) makes a sudden movement , it “flicks”. I’ve tried different types of videos – it does the same. Or or without the “sticky menu” (now is without) it does the same . Or or without the grid -mask it does the same. I do not really know if it is about the Revolution Slider with video layer or about the scroll. I need advise please – in order to fix this problem. In this moment you’ll find the project at : http://webcliente.es/portal/ Try to scroll down an up using the scroll bar – you’ll notice what I’m talking about. I’ve noticed that in the original theme (demo) tends to do the same. With video header is more noticeable than with photo banner/header. Thank you

A few questions: - Is there an ability for the front end user to “use my current location”, rather than inputing in fields for search and display results?
- Can the “events” made on profile holders be set to display within their primary information area, rather than a tab? Or at least a sidebar with an placeholder image and title for specific event page?

Just rather than have events display in separate tab page, place it in a frame within the main information page. In the same fashion that they appear on main front pages. Simple as that.

On the main page… The event/special offers cover images display the same block way as the categories, places etc. Is it possibly to have them display like this INSIDE the location profile page. NOT in a separate tab.

Yes. Like that. So that events / special offers can be displayed on the main page of a location profile. Without having to navigate to another tab inside. Just a dedicated “coupon” section below or to the right in a sidebar, so that it’s all included in one page.

If you use woo-commerce, it works fine. however there is no additional design or more extra options. it’s just default design. some shop theme has specific design and some more options. but as you know, it’s not a shop theme. and only default design and functionality. therefore I said that.

Guys, you NEED to have ‘Ratings’ in the search criteria (Categories, Locations and Ratings). The concept of the theme just doesn’t seem complete without it. And I don’t mean a ratings filter. A user needs to be able to search for 5-star items, 4-star items etc.
On another note, from what I see, there are quite a bit of grammatical and spelling corrections that need to be made throughout the front-end (and I assume, in the code as well). If you need help with this, I’ll be happy to assist.

Do you mean to add rating filter on all of search forms? then it will be too many dropdown boxes on search form. If there is any mistake of the spellings, we will assist / fix them.

Yes we had the problem and demo site was not stable. we have moved to another hosting (bluehost) and it seems to be better. I am not really sure if it’s good for you or not. but it’s so far not bad for us. however if you have more items, you may need better server.

Hi, I’ve uploaded lots of locations (metro stations) but at the moment we don’t have items located in all locations, but in filter location items appears all the locations even if we don’t have any item in this location.
Can i show in the filter just the locations with items?

Hi, it was nice to see someone else using vc editor and then adding custom elements within that for the home page. It is a shame that sort of logic was not continued throughout the theme.
In the meantime, there is a custom element that is missing, and really shoud be used in the theme. This is a spacer element. Instead of hard coding the default spacing in css, create increments of 10,20,30 etc in css, then make a custom spacer element with dropdown menu to select spacing. Then you can add this into the home page. It allows people to play with the page much more than you currently allow. The current spacing is just silly currently.
I made this in earlier versions of vc, though not for recent versions. Could you consider adding this?
I see VC made it themselves called empty space. Works a treat.

1. Does the site automatically detect the location of the user when they visit the site?
2. Does it accept front-end PayPal payment options?
3. Can there be only 2 fields as options in the main page: Keywords and Location
- So that when they go to the site (set to http://javothemes.com/directory/home-map/ for example as the homepage) they will automatically be shown the keyword + their location
- Can “Views” be changed to the word “Display” (since the purpose is to display the number of whatever the keyword is? like restaurant, etc.)
- Can “Views” be replaced with “Ratings” so they can easily sort out by ratings? (homepage set to http://javothemes.com/directory/home-map/)
4. Can “Events” be one of the main tabs on top when a user visits the site so they can also just opt to view any ongoing promos/offers in their area?
5. Is “Home (crowded)” the actual main page? Or can the homepage be set to another page like the “Home (map)” page or this page: http://javothemes.com/directory/trip-image/ ?
6. If I choose to make “Home (crowded)” the main page (and auto detect their location), can “Featured Items” be after “Categories” and “Events/Special Offers” instead of how it is set up now?
7. Can the “Featured Items” section display 8 listings instead of the current 5?
8. In http://javothemes.com/directory/trip-image/ I noticed the size of the image (“Hotel/Accomodation”) is smaller. Can this size be set as the main size for all the pages?
9. Can I add another tab/option to go together with “About Us, Location, Events, Ratings, Reviews”? Like “We’re Hiring” for example and will mainly contain texts or content?
10. Can the side bar be removed across the site? Or can “Featured Items, etc.” in the side bar be replaced with an ad box?

1. We have geolocation on maps, your users need to click on it.
2. Yes, paypal is fine.
3. I am not sure about ” automatically be shown the keyword + their location”. this is the one we have on item list. views are how many amounts display. we don’t have options to change names however you can modify a file to change name. Ratings filter is on archive pages.
4. “main tabs on top” means it can be one of menus? yes you can add a menu and users can visit events page you created.
5. Yes you can change home page to any pages you want. it’s a basic wordpress function.
6. No it’s not possible to display all of them automatically.
7. At this moment, there is only this design layout. we will add more.
8. Do you mean the header image? yes you can add your custom image and setup height.
9. Not at this moment. it will be in the future.
10. I am sure what you mean. but we have full-width, sidebar layout. however some of shortcodes are for only full-width.
If I misunderstood, I am sorry about. I am trying to be careful to give right information.

2. We try to update weekly and changed. it’s not easy to tell update time frame. we will have one soon.
3. Yoast SEO (yes), WP Fastest Cache works fine. have not tried Super cacher. we have not tested others.

I buy the theme is really asome. I recomended these theme if you need a clasificate theme is great. Only one think you need put more videos by suport is hard to add thinks whit a very few information. Javo I think if you add more videos your customers are more happy. Really you are the man on these but only the experienced customers end happy others more are freutrated Not by the theme. The frustrated s because not take. Quizás quisiste decir: yo batalle mucho pero es excelente. De verdad ayuden a sus clientes que son más visuales y no tienen tantos conocimientos. I struggled a lot but is excellent. Really help customers who are more visual and do not have much knowledge.
