I’m not sure if you are able to help me. You use WP Bakery, but you edit and modified it for your theme. However, when I tried to add a VC Add On plug in, unfortunately somewhere in your WP Bakery makes it not fully functional.
I have WP Bakery (from another theme) on another theme so when I turned off your WP Bakery and use the other theme’s WP Bakery, the VC Add on works.
I want to use your version of WP Bakery as it is intended because I saw some nice features that you have. But its a little frustrating if your core WP VC plug in isn’t able to work like the original one.
Is there anything you can help me with?

Like I said, its a bit frustrating but I’m really trying to utilize your WP Bakery VC as best as I can. The VC Add On I tried to use is the Image Hot Spot- the front end editor is supposed to be able to drag the hotspot but for some reason your VC isn’t compatible with it but the other VC is compatible. :\

I found the problem and I dont know how to fix.. your front end editor somehow has its drag/move disabled? In the other WP Bakery VC composer, in the front end you are able to move items in the front end between rows or sections but somehow in yours it is disabled and not functional.
I think its a bug? Can you inspect to see?
Ah, but alas! I just had to turn on/off my plugins again. I believe that did the trick. Disregard!

If you can help me, that would be great. Like I said, I’d like to use your features as intended in VC. If there is a way to use your VC that can be compatible with VC Add Ons, I’d like to use that. If not, is there a way to use the other VC and import some of your components?

You will need to add some extra coding for that (advanced skills I would say). Anyway, some of the add-ons should work as long as you have the ajax loading feature OFF.

Yeah I want to avoid extra coding. Would it be easier to figure out why the front end editor won’t let me drag elements around? I turned off the Ajax loading and it still won’t let me drag my element around. Would this be easier if I PM/emailed you?

Sorry, but is the problem related with the Frontend Editor or with an add-on? If it is with the Frontend Editor turn OFF all the other plugins and try again. If you still have trouble please send me a private message then.

Hi, I am really enjoying using the theme. I have also purchased a new lightbox called Foobox, it works well with the blog aspect of the site but I would also like it to be used when you click the image expand button in the portfolio section instead of the current default lightbox.
Is this possible to integrate easily?

Great theme! We are testing it for a website but when we insert a shortcode into one of the pages it does not show initially. It only works if the page is refreshed. Below is the link, from Home click on Directory, it won’t show up at first. Refresh the page you are in (Directory), and the map will show up.
We tested it on different themes and it does work. I wonder if there’s a setting I am missing.

Thank you for purchasing! Because you are using a plugin here you should turn OFF the Ajax load feature. You can do this under Samba Options>General tab.

Thank you. That worked. BTW, to reinstall the Samba Framework, I had to delete the old plugin, upload the samba_framework.zip file into the plugin folder in the file manager on the server, extract it. Then activate it in the theme plugin page. Otherwise, I was getting 403 errors.

The background photo starts acting weird and the menu disappears if I want to view it on a screen which is less than 768px wide (let’s say I set my window to cover half of my screen).

How do I make the menu like what you have on your site where only the content pages load with AJAX? Ex: Click on ‘Blog’ and it drops down to show the content pages/posts. Or ‘Portfolio’ or ‘Pages’ where it just drops down and now show any other pages.

Hey Pirenko, this is a beautiful theme that works great compared to some of the others I’ve come across, so thanks for it!
I am trying to set up a site with 2 portfolios, one under a page called ‘Portfolio’ (photos of past work) and one displaying on a page called ‘Press’ (images of the covers of magazines). But the press one is just showing the same things that are loaded into the portfolio page. I see in the documentation that it is possible (by using the Samba Portfolio Template Custom Options) but it is not clear and I don’t understand how to make this work. Can you help?

Good to know that you are enjoying the theme! To achieve that you need to organize your portfolio items with categories/skills. Then on that Custom Options panel you filter each page with the desired skills.

Hello I have a little problem on my website on the “News” page with the “Blog Grid” template (only).

Thank you for purchasing! Please check the theme documentation that has info on how to manage this. Anyway:
1) On the soundcloud site click on share and then embed. Copy the code that is generated;
2) Paste this code on the options panel located under the post content;
3) If you don’t want to use any featured image (thumbnail) make sure that you select the option located on this same panel;
