Thank you for your help. Your question : Have you installed the visual composer? My answer : no. It is not possible. Your documentation : Step 4– Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate it. Step 5– Then you will see a notification message to activate the required & recommended plugins.
Specular appears in the appearance themes. I activated it. Then I got the error that leads to line 85 in the codeless_elements php, this one in notepad : // VC_Row Mods/Additions vc_remove_param(“vc_row”, “css”);.
I have no chance to do anything else. Thank you for your answer.

You have only to wait if you installing the dummy data with images, because this need some time to download the images from our servers.

Issue still persists. I’ve had Import work, but only when I click the “Import” button more than once; however, this results in duplicate inserts of requested Demo Data. I am becoming increasingly more frustrated. I’m also on WP 4.0.1, completely clean install. Please advise.

We have made a lot of updates and we don’t have problems with the dummy data. Can you please let me know what host you are using? We have a problem with only godaddy hosts.
What version of the theme you use? Get the latest 1.2.4

Please go to Appearances > Widgets > Add to the Footer Areas the widgets you want.
You can install dummy data that will populate your widgets areas automatically.

The area to add the widget is not there. I have 4 footer coloumns, but in Apperearances – Widgets the footer area is not there. There is only the copyright footer sidebar.

We will check this issue again. Anyway you have only to insert the width of the slider into :Slides > Layout > Content Width in px 1100px for example. You have only to set this value for the slides and the warning will be removed automatically.

Thanks you for the quick reply! I think there’s a bug on the page you have linked: in the flex slider gallery, the next button (on the right) is not only an arrow (like on the left side), but there’s another arrow and the ‘next’ word.
