I am using the fusion editor with blog post. Is there a feature in this theme that allows me to control the order in which blog post appear on the page?

Not by default, WP lists them our by date, there are 3rd party plugins though that allow you to rearrange the posts manually, like Post Type Reorder.

Hi, I have another pre-sales question, this one is about pagination. I did a search in these comments and 242 results came up so I hope you don’t mind if I ask this because it would be quicker than reading all those comments!
I have a blog with about 150 gallery posts on it. I see the “Infinite Scroll” option in your demo but I’m not sure I want to use that for my blog. What I do now is post about 20 thumbnails on the home page with a pagination bar at the bottom so people can select whatever page they want either by page number or “Previous” and “Next”. Is this something I can do in Avada?
In one of your past responses I saw something about doing this by setting a page as the home page. Do you have an example of this I can look at?

Yes you should use pagination bar for this, and that can be done with Avada but the pagination boxes are at the bottom, for example see this blog page: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/large-image-right-sidebar/
Any page that you make the blog page can do this, or even a page that has other content but uses the blog shortcode.

how come there is no hover effect on RECENT POSTS or BLOGS?

Currently the image rollover effect is only for larger images, it will show on the first featured image for portfolio and for blog posts. But not for recent posts shortcode, the images are smaller there and there could be overlap issues with the content on the image rollover.
However, we are debating adding a more basic rollover effect to them in a future release.

Iam using the ubermenu for my website and it came fine but when it comes to mobile , menu is not displaying but i check the knowledgeable base forum i find ut the solution and changed according to the given instructions but the problem is menu is coming fine in the mobile but the mobile alignments sliders and contact forms alignments are changed . so suggest the solution
one more pbm faced is i change the style .css for contact form 7 but that is not effecting in the website. again i open the style.css and check that but the code is remain same what i changed there. why the style is not applicable for the website.

Hi there, We use ARForms plugin for our customers to upload their documents with payments. Can this plug in be incorporated in your theme to use? The reason we are asking this question is: we have installed this plugin on other theme and the them was overriding the css of the ARForms’s css. What do you suggest?

We’ve not tested that ourselves so cannot guarantee it, however it should be fine. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

Is it possible to add videos to any of the portfolio layouts.
Also is it possible to just have one column portfolio grid, but with just 3 or 4 big images one after each other if that makes sense?

Yes you can add videos to a portfolio post. All of them will show on the single post page. If you want them to show on the main portfolio listing page, you will need to use Portfolio 1 column layout, that will allow a video to show on the main listing page. The column layouts (2-6) will show a featured image, and then the video will show in the lightbox and/or single post page.

You can use a “blank page” template and setup basic content or under construction text so they know. Like this …

I would like to purchase this theme but had a question, can i turn the responsive mode off on the theme in a simple way or do i have to go and change the cs codes?

Yes you can turn responsiveness off in theme options (one click). When you do this, the fixed layout (non-responsive) will show on all devices. The layout is fluid though, so if you try to resize a browser window for example, you will still see some adjustments. But the actual site on any device you use (iphone, ipad, samsung, etc) will show the fixed layout.

Hi, I’m looking for a new, modern theme to convert my existing WP site to and yours came up as the #1 most popular so I thought I’d ask you a couple pre-sales questions:
1. My current theme was made many years ago before Featured Images were introduced. It instead uses a Custom Field called “Thumbnail” to put an image on the home page that links to the post, just as a Featured Image would. So my question is: does your theme have the ability to convert my Custom Field entries to Featured Images, or would I need to do this manually or with a plugin?
2. I read your comment about coming out with an update soon. Can you describe what new features the update will provide?

1. This would be hard to say without trying it out, but I would plan on having to setup a feature image for each post you have.
2. Avada is constantly updated so a new version is always 1-2 months in the making. We average about 5 major ones a year. And anyone who buys the theme gets the updates for free. Our next one, v3.7 has some great new features like ability for a left or right header, 2 new shortcode designs, several new design options for various shortcodes, all new column settings for colors, bkgd images, borders and more. And several other items too, it will be out by this time next week for sure.

Thanks for the fast reply! I think I’m 99% sure I will buy this theme but have two more questions about the use of Featured Images in Avada:
1. I’ve seen some WP themes and plugins that offer an option of automatically making the first image in a post the Featured Image so I wanted to know if Avada can do that.
2. Will I be able to set specific images sizes for Featured Images in Avada or are they pre-set and I’ll have to make my images in your size?

1. We use featured images boxes, so the first one you upload to the post in the featured image box will display as you wish. But that wont happen in the post content field, although if you turned off the featured images (an option) then it will display the first image at the top.
2. Yes each blog or portfolio post can have a custom featured image size for the featured images.

Hello,
Is there a way to not have the animation or change the size of the header menu and the sticky menu? I’m trying to minimize the change when scrolling down and the sticky menu appears for the first time? This is most apparent when using the slider on the homepage.

Yes this can be done but would require code customizations on your end. Also, there is a different style stick if you use the Fusion Slider with Parallax effect along with header 1. It never leaves the viewport. The other headers or sliders use the animated sticky due to several technical reason in the setup.
