I have an issue with page display. The site margins set in some areas don’t display as set in the design, when the site is navigated through.
Pages and site design only corrects when the page is refreshed. Tried on different machines, cleared cache on browsers and reset margins to columns / rows and blocks and still there is a page display issue until refresh.
I have also installed WP3 Cache which helps but stops the majority of the site working so I tried a lighter version and still causes the site to not display.
I tried registering to submit a ticket and unable to, please can you advise how I correct the page display issue or register to submit a ticket?

I am trying to use the following code on posts and portfolio items but it does not seem to affect anything:

All image sizes depends on your configuration of the theme (height of the header, portfolio image orientation, etc). You can always check our image sizes if you get image property from our demo server.

When reading the included documentation, after importing the demo content, it says: In order to import LayerSlider demo slider, you need to locate xml export folder in the theme’s All files & documentation zip file you can download from your Downloads page at ThemeForest. You will find LayerSlider_Export.json file there. Just go to LayerSlider option in the left menu and upload that file under Import section.

Regarding both the Layer Slider and Visual Composer plugins, after you have installed the theme, you should see a notification at the top of your dashboard that some plugins need to be installed and activated. Click on this notification to install these plugins and then go to Plugins and activate them. After you have installed and activated both plugins, you should see LayerSliderWP appear in your dashboard’s sidebar, click on this and in the LayerSlider screen you will see the option to import sliders. Then just follow the steps you sent above from the documentation to import the slider.

Hi there! Due to a rather in-depth search function we are trying to work out, we have a requirement to add Select Custom Fields to an additional custom post type.
Is there a way to add that?
Also, is there a way to remove everything in the header area using CSS code?
I have received some code from you earlier regarding the header, but it does not remove everything.
I had to use Select Custom Fields using the “Don’t show page title area”, “Don’t show title” and “Don’t show page title image”.
Is there a way to do that using CSS?

2) The title area is not a part of the header, and the way you hid it is the best way to accomplish this. However, if you would like to remove the title area via css, you can do this with the following code:

My answer:
“I actually did hire someone, and he was able to add Select Custom Fields to an additional custom post type, but it doesn’t show any of the options. It just shows the main bar. When you click on it, it unfolds about 3mm. Any advice or help you can offer would be much appreciated.”
So if there is any way we can get some insight as to what to look for, that would be helpful.

Please could you take a look at the site I am building for my client using this theme:

The only problem we are experiencing is a major visual distortion of the 404 page. The header is loading but the positioning of the 404 content is sitting on top of the header (I think) and the page is generally quite broken. Please could you take a look and advise me on how to solve this issue?

1. I cant create Content menu, because in CMS under Row editor there is no Title field available.

Hi,
1) To create a content menu, you first need to set some empty row and set it to type “Content Menu” in the Row options. This row will be your content menu.
Then you need to create a new row and in the row options for this row just select “Use row for content menu?” and then the “Content menu title” field will appear. Enter your title here and add some content to this row, and it will be added to your content menu. Do this for each row you want to add to the content menu.
2) You shouldn’t use a purchased version of Visual Composer with our theme, since the theme comes with a modified version. We update our version of Visual Composer when necessary through theme updates, so please wait until we release a theme update with the newest version of Visual Composer.

Hello, having a couple of issues with the theme, I could use your help, thanks in advance.
I am using the “Blog Large Image Whole Post” layout. My problems:
1. creating a post with a Gallery Format, I get the nice (layer slider controlled?) slide show above the title of the post, both on the main page and on the post page, but on the main page I also get the gallery thumbnails, below the title. How can I remove those?
2. Where do I control the “Read More” settings? I would like to rely on the wordpress “more…” tag (btw, enable or disabling this in Select options > Blog, Enable wordpress read more tag, doesn’t seem to influence it), as now I get both a more… and a Read More in each post.
3. Is there a widget that comes with the theme or some other easily implementable method of adding a Previous Post / Next Post navigation to the blog post pages?

Im trying to make a portfolio gallery but i can’t seem to figure out how to do it, I want it like the live preview portfolio gallery with 4 column grid. could you explain how to do this?
Also is there a way to get rid of the page titles while keeping just the breadcrumbs? it seems i can only get rid of both and not separately.

Hi,
Regarding portfolio, you can create this by first going to Portfolios and creating your portfolio items, and then going to the page you would like the portfolio list (portfolio gallery) to display on from the back end, and via Visual Composer add the portfolio list element and in the options set “Type” to “Gallery” and “Columns” to “4”.
Regarding the breadcrumbs, you can hide the page title and subtitle and keep the breadcrumbs by adding the following code to your custom css field:

.subtitle .subtitle_inner {

}
.title h1 {
display: none;
}

Is there a way to have portrait photos in the select slider that resizes so its the same height of a landscape image without adding padding to the actual image before uploading?
Lastly i am using the left menu area but id like to move the menus as well as the logo down is there code to apply to custom css that can work?

Hi,
1. This text is the title of your portfolio and the portfolio category and is added automatically to your portfolio list if you set a title for your portfolio and put the portfolio in some category. To make it display under the plus sign you just need to choose either “Gallery” or “gallery no space” as your portfolio type.
2. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve this with our slider. Image will always be resized to fill in the screen/slide. You could try to center the image with this code, but it will still be cropped at the top and bottom:

background-position: center center;

3. You can achieve this by adding the following code to your custom css field and adjusting the 60px value to suit your needs:

i opened a ticket the same time i wrote the last comment (so most of the questions are in here as well that you already answered).
There are still a few things I’m trying to figure out
1) layerslider skins are not working properly, the navigation arrows don’t seem to change except that they are black with no legible arrow on it (when i set no skin it is fine), and the thumbnails I’ve set to appear always but they don’t show up on any skin.
2) header and footer height? been trying to figure out the code to call the header and footer but can’t seem to figure it out.
3) at the bottom of a portfolio gallery there is a black bar with the next portfolio, can i add a custom button in the middle of it? Ive been trying to locate it but i can’t figure out where it is.
4) how do i change a portfolio permalink? It is hardcoded as “portfolio_page/” i would like to just add the page name without the “portfolio_page/”.

4) Unfortunately this slug can’t be removed, since it is a default slug for our portfolio custom post type, and WordPress uses it to recognize portfolios as a custom post type. You can, however, change this slug to something else if you like, by going to Select Options > Portfolio and entering some other slug which is not already being used into the Portfolio Single Slug field, and then navigate to Settings -> Permalinks and click “Save” in order for changes to take effect.
