Hi,
1. I feel you need two column option also. Three column looks too crowded 2. Is there a way to add other google fonts. Do you have any option to import fonts and use them?
venkatesan
Hi, you can use a two column layout: Just edit the block position of each Moodle block in a course to ‘left’ or ‘right’. Only if you use both positions ‘left’ and ‘right’ you will get a three column layout.
You can choose from the set of Google Fonts available in the theme settings (http://www.redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/options_fonts.html ). If you need another one, please contact me via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you a modified file for this.
Thanks for the solution on column position, it is my oopsie, I completely missed it. About, fonts, I understood how to get the new fonts but I feel it would be better if user individually allowed to download the fonts and use them instead of bundling with the theme. Delete them later and download another one

Your suggestion with the Google Fonts is a question of usability vs. flexibility. To add a Google Font individually would require to edit site administration settings as well as modifying the css file – this won’t appeal to everyone.
Instead, you can choose from many fonts In the theme settings, which I think is the better solution for most users.
But: If you need to include a special font, please contact me via the support tab and I can describe you the necessary modifications in more detail.
Hi, Good theme. How did you make your front page in the demo. Did you add as page activity in the front page or as course summary. When I tried to replicate I could not get that. Can you share the codes.
Thanks in advance venkatesan
Thanks! The content on the frontpage was added with labels. In the theme’s documentation, you can find the section “Adding content” (http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/adding_content.html ) where this is described in more detail. You can also contact me via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I can send you the HTML for the frontpage like in the demo.
Hi
After purchase the template could i have the psd file????
THANKS
Carlos
Hi, sorry. but there are no psd files included in the download. The theme has evolved in many steps since it is in use at the Moodle site of a college, so there is no psd which would cover the current state of the theme. Unfortunately, i can’t help you with this request…
I love the template but I need to know where to add the html elements and shortcodes to make my site look like the demo.
Hi, in the theme’s documentation you can find a section about adding content (http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/adding_content.html ). If this doesn’t help you, please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – I can send you the HTML used in the demo.

thanks!
Hi, could you explain that in a little more detail, please? What exactly do you want to achieve by modifying this css rule? Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ).
This theme is awesome!. Just one question . I am new to moodle . I want the “Example Courses” section that exists in the live preview I occupy the entire width of the page, as you do. But I see that I can not because they are the menus on the right.
How did you do that you in your live preview ?
I would like that on my homepage that section occupy the entire width. Can it be done?
Thank You
PD: Sorry for my english
Hi, you can move the navigation block to the ‘hidden’ block region on the frontpage. Then the block will appear in an area only visible for admins and you habe the entire width for the carousel with the example courses. If you need further help, please contact me via the support tab – I can send you some screenshots with the required settings.
Done!! Thanks
You’re welcome!
Hi, Works perfect in Moodle 2.8.2. ;D One question: I enabled the access for mobile app (Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Web services > Mobile). I saw a custom css for this app (mobilecssurl), but in your theme there aren’t any mobilecssurl. It’s the style.css file? Regards
Hi, the style.css is the right file. But I doubt that this is necessary: Since Theme Lambda has a responsive design, the theme will adapt to all screen sizes, you can use it right away with a smartphone or tablet without any additional css delivered by the mobilecssurl.
Yes, works perfect in all the devices, but sure that someone would prefer to use the app. Regards ;D
Sure, I just wanted to say that the mobilecssurl setting is not necessary to make the app work with your site…
I liked the theme but before i am going to implement on the production site I am making some testing. I found about that the grade report is completely messed up. Did I missed something or there is any real issue. Thanks
Hi, please send me a link to your site via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I will take a look at it.
yes you are right I am using latest version and your code has solves the problem. Thanks By the way I am quite impressed with the theme. It’s a quite a unique experience.
Thanks!
Hi, was just wondering if the Menu is bugging or if its just me.
I’m adding items as per the documentation but they are not being highlighted like a typical menu See here: http://nzelearning.com/
Also is there away to turn off bread crumbs from the theme?
Cheers Jason
Hi, the menu items have a hover effect when you move the mouse over the menu. Since Moodle is a LMS, you add links to courses or resources to the menu, you do not define actual “pages”. With that, Moodle doesn’t allow the highlighting of a current site in its own custom menu (I think that this was your concern: clicking on the “About” menu item and highlighting this item when you view the “page”). It is possible to define a custom css rule in the theme settings to hide the breadcrumb. Please contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I’ll send you the css.
Thats great and what you say makes scene. Cheers
I am glad that I could help. I’ve just sent you the css.
Please I am interested in buying. it there a way a video promo can be featured on the homepage?
Nice Moodle Template.
Hi, in Moodle you can embed videos in many different ways: https://docs.moodle.org/28/en/Video – so yes, this is definitely possible.
Hi, great theme.
I was just wondering if it can go full screen and not ‘boxed’ like in the demos?
Regards Harry
Hi, you can switch between boxed and full layout in the theme’s settings panel. You can verify the result for a full layout in the live preview at: http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/full_screen_preview/9442816
This theme is one of the best available for Moodle today! Easy customization and looks superb. Never seen Moodle look so good before. And Eva provides tremendous support to help you with anything. Two thumbs up!
Thank you
Detailed installation instruccions? Where does one view it? or does it come in text form with the template.
A detailed documentation is included in the download. But you can also take a look at the theme’s documentation online: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
Works with Moodle 2.8 ?
Yes, the theme is fully compatible with moodle 2.8.
Hi,
I’m really interested in purchasing your template, but I need to know if you’re still giving support.
And it is compatible with Moodle 2.6?
Hi, sure you will get full support for the theme. Since I am a “Moodler” myself I can surely help you even with questions going beyond the theme itself. You can use the theme for any Moodle version from 2.5 to current – so yes, 2.6 is supported.
How can i customize a text box (Photo-Background without Spaces on left and on right), like in your Demo on the Startpage “Take a closer look at the included features:”?
Hi, this element uses a “spotlight-full” class (see also “Shortcodes” > “Theme Elements” in the documentation”). Please contact me again if you have any further questions.
Unfortunately it does not work. Something I’ve probably done wrong. Can I send you a link?
Of course! Please send me the link via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and I will check your site.
Hi,
I have purchased the theme yesterday however after installation found many things missing from front page. I am not a coder hence opted for template. I want everything appearing exactly same as in demo site.
There is nothing mentioned in installation guide about putting 5 blocks after slides which is mainly responsible for the UI as it appears on demo site.
Thanks.
Hi, in the theme settings, you can setup the frontpage slider and the carousel (the example courses in the demo). All other parts are HTML elements. In the documentation, you have the code examples for the elements shown at the frontpage of the demo site (see section “Shortcodes”). Please contact me via the “Support” Tab and I can also send you the HTML elements used at the live preview.
Is possible that publish you a video about your template…is impossible buy your template if we can’t see the design admin…
thank you so much
Well, it’s still a Moodle site… So you get the administration block with the links to edit courses and settings. The theme’s options are described in the demo site under “Features”. Anyhow, a video is a good idea, I’ll make it so!
Is possible at least that you publish anything screenshot about admin panel?
As promised, I will provide some videos with screencasts. This might take a few days. I can also add some screenshots to the demo site, I will post the link here as a reply when it’s done.
Hi, screenshots with some examples for administration with Theme Lambda are now available at the live preview (“Features” > “Theme Options”). As soon as the screencasts are done, I will post them on the same page of the demo so you can get a good impression of the theme options.
thanks
eva_pi where you from? Mexico?
You’re quite close… No, I’m from Germany
What is demo account for administrator ?
Sorry, but I don’t plan to provide login informations for admin role. As an administrator, you could delete contents or change the theme of the demo site. Even if I backup the site, there might be visitors who watch the demo in this state. I hope for your understanding… But every course in the demo site is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like.
Hi, Just after installation I receive warnings like: “Warning: Missing argument 3 for admin_setting_heading::__construct(), called in /.../theme/lambda/settings.php on line 460 and defined in /.../moodle/lib/adminlib.php on line 2043”
What should I do?
Hi, thanks for purchasing the theme. If I understand correctly: The installation process itself was successful and now you get the warnings in the main content of your Moodle? Is that right? Which Moodle version are you using?
Yes, The installation was successfull. I’m using Moodle 2.8
Hm, ok. The mentioned lines in the settings.php refer to the frontpage slider. Do you already have done any settings for the slider? Does it appear on the frontpage?
Hi pinium, now I got the reason for the warnings you receive, thank you for pointing that out. You can disable the warnings as an administrator in “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Development” > “Debugging”. There, select for “Debug messages” the option “None”. The warnings do not affect anything on your moodle site, but I’ll handle that in the upcoming version!
OK, THX. I’m testing the theme. I will write my opinion as soon as possible
