Hello I want to know if there was a way to change the background of the side with the widgets separately than the main middle. So I can to have the navigation side match the side with the widgets side and leave the middle separate.

in reference to the post section, which consist of 3 parts . 2 side bars and a middle. Your documentation states one can upload a background for your sidebar/site from the theme options panel. However in that part I only see Background for Navigation, on the opposite side where ones widgets go i want to change that background independently of the middle, currently when i attempt to upload a background there entire middle, and widgets change together. I want ultimate would like both sidebars to match and the middle to remain the same.

If you have any issues with the import, i.e. any errors, then you’ll likely need to increase the memory limit and try again. Here’s a guide of how to proceed if you come across issues:
Edit wp-config.php and enter the following at the bottom of the file: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘64M’); If you have access to your server’s PHP.ini file, then find the following line and increase the value, for example: memory_limit = 64M If you don’t have access to your server’s PHP.ini file, then try adding this to the bottom of the .htaccess file at the root of your WordPress site: php_value memory_limit 64M

Demo data import problem:

But I’m not logged out as mfuchs but I get a white screen and everything stopps. This is the URL I see than in the browser: http://www.romankoenigshofer.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=2
When I check the media library I see 165 items. But I see no portfolios and/or galleries. I can assign the menu though, so I did. But I don’t see the menu on my site.
I’m not a coder so I don’t really know how to edit the php.ini file for a longer execution time like mfuchs did. Where do I even find this file? 
When I look it up with filezilla I can’t find it.
I also tried to split the XML file already but then I get the white screen again and nothing is uploaded, even no images in the Media…

Hi, try to search your php.ini file in your hosting account or contact your hosting support center to help you with.
I did already. They sent me over these specs: http://one-docs.com/specs/ and said they can’t change anything on their servers… Honestly I don’t know what to do. Please help!

- You can use any dimensions you wish.
- You don’t need to enable it, it works by default.

This might be a really obvious question, but I’ve struggled for so long trying to find a solution that I just need help now haha – how do I actually get my ‘posts’ to show on my ‘journal’ page? I really want to add a blog feature to my website, however I have no idea how to actually create regular posts to show up on the Journal page (like on your example site of the theme).
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi, I’ve noticed that all my images from my website are now coming up in google images when I search under my name.
I’d like to learn how to remove this option as I want people to view my images on my website only and not through google images.
Is there code I can add to prevent google images from accessing these files?

Hi there, I just purchased this theme and it looks great, but one of the main reasons I wanted it was because of the “masonry (no margins)” option. I’ve noticed that numerous people have had the same problem as I’m having but I can’t find a fix for it. The images in the gallery have reorganized themselves into two very separate columns and nothing I do is helping at all. I tried reducing the width (on line 1012) and nothing changed. I tried changing the max width and it just made the thumbnails smaller, and still in two columns. Please tell me how I can fix this as I really like the way it looks in the demo and I’d love to get my site up and running ASAP!

can the individual post categories be displayed with the portfolio line theme?
I tried setting the pages to this and using the list categories plugin but it displays the unfiltered porfolios
I tries logging in submit a ticket but it’s not working for me on a chromebook
and if the only way is to move all the posts to protfolios can the links shown be changed to removed the portfolio part of the url

Hi, it may well be possible with some modification but it’s not something which is available out of the box I’m afraid.
Thanks for your answer. Of course it is possible: this website has been designed from your Skylab theme. I’d like to have the same type of submenu. Do you know if there is a plugin, or a js to help doing this modification? If not, any information about where to look in Skylab to make the modifications to design a child theme will be helpful. Hi, recently my portfolio list page changed from tiles (feature images) to a vertical list showing the text from each portfolio item. http://www.onelayer.net/portfolio/ Is there a setting to change it back to tiles showing the feature image of each portfolio item? I think it may have changed after i upgraded to wordpress 4.0.

I managed to fix it by making a new portfolio page template and deleting the old one… not the best solution but it will do.
