Hi, thank you for your interest and appreciation – IE8 is an old browser which lacks major implementation features and has some security flaws. I have no plans for such compatibility; I don’t recommend using it. The theme currently shows a warning message in order for users to upgrade to the latest version and I think that’s the best way to go about this. Hope this helps.
