Is there a way to duplicate the footer social media icons into the header of the page?

Currently It doesn’t support that. I will consider to add it into the future if there are many requests from customers. Or if you are familiar with coding. You have to copy code from footer.php to header.php

Did you save menu location? If you are not familiar with Wordpress custom menu below are some tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O59PwSMxBR8i did exactly the same, but it doesent pop out sub menus, and i aded them as sub categories on appearance/menus

Please check. There are javascript conflicts between theme’s script and plugin’s script. Try to disable all plugins

You can delete some social profiles using Theme Setting > Social Profiles.

Please provide more in detail. What did you mean banner and how do you add it? Did you mean logo?
Yes thats what I mean. I uploaded my own then I just went ahead and used the Venus banner/logo that came with it and it still wont show as you can see in the link.

Thanks for your response. I did not notice it sooner because I did not receive an email notification.
I have been unable to identify which plugin is causing this issue. I have deleted many and turned many on/off to see if the mobile experience for the homepage changed and it did not. I think it may be one of these three:
-Aksimet -Jetpack by Wordpress -Insert Headers and Footers
Are any of these ones you may think have issues with your theme? Thanks again for your help.
I think it might be jetpack but you can try to disable it one by one to find which one cause the issue.

Follow up question: is there any way to increase the dimensions of the logo to fill up the entire header? Also, can you put a logo or any .jpg in the navigation bar?
The maximum logo width is 960px and you can also use .jpg or .png for logo image.

If you are new to WordPress and have problems with setting up the theme you might want to import the dummy content file (Venus_sample_content.xml) that comes with the theme. You can import this file by clicking Tools > Import > Wordpress. The theme will then import some dummy posts and pages from the live preview. However you will still need to set some options on your own ex. main menu and theme settings.

PS. I got another issue. When showing the latest posts, the theme shows each post both in English & Italian! It means the 6 shown posts are actually only 3 but in 2 languages. Hello, I just bought Venus theme. I have an ENGLISH/ITALIAN website run with WPML plugin. When I try to open a category I got “Page Not Found” with each of them.
Moreover, when I go to DASHBOARD>POST>CATEGORIES and try to switch from a language to another i get a white page with the following error: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?” Any good advice on how to fix this issue?

Pre-Sale Questions: Hi, Let me just say WOW! This theme meets SO many of my wants/needs in a Mag/Blog site. My only concern is 1) how large do the images need to be to fit the massive slider (currently my images are 700px). 2) Can you disable the slider, or change the size (this applies to the large featured image in the posts/pages)? 3) Ads drive a lot of revenue for my site and I typically have take overs, and at least 2 ads above the fold (one 728×90 and one sidebar 300×35) Do you think I could tweak the theme to make this possible? 4) Is there a sidebar in the posts? If not can one be added? Thanks!

1. If you mean fullscreen slideshow. I recommend image at 1024px resolution. You can use image at 700px too but it’s blurry on large screen.
2. Provide URL of page you mentioned please.
3. To add ads to the top of page you have to edit theme code but to display ads on sidebar. You can add it using widget.
4. Yes sidebar support on single post page.
