We purchased this template so as to quickly create a new slick site for our customer incorporating gift certificates but have run into a number of technical difficulties that we need resolved today, or will need a refund (as we do not have time to deal with these difficulties inherent in the theme): -Spa Lab ” includes a gift card feature that allows visitors to gift their friends with a pre-paid experience at your salon or spa, with the checkout and delivery process all taking place online” – this does not work, it will not allow us to purchase, only a confusing email to the person trying to buy the certificate -While it was working at first, we are no longer able to make changes to any text – the theme will not save/incorporate changes -Text previously entered, but not yet formatted has disappeared -No images in the Media – and after successfully uploading a few images, it will no longer allow us to upload images
-Is there a patch or fix for the troubles we are having??!!

Right now we are creating our gift cards shortcode only for sending mail. In our theme updates we will include “Special Gifts With external link”
I) GIFT SECTION (“process of gift cards”) (i) Special Gifts —After selecting any one of the gift card, you have to enter your name ,email, delivery date and message. And click proceed to checkout. Mail will be sent to the wordpress admin email id. Then admin only take care of that gift request from the end user. Also you can change email id by using “to” property. Ex: [dt_sc_gift_items id=”1” price=”100” image_url=”http://dummyimage.com/900×900” title=”A perfect gift for someone special” button_text=”Select” button_size=”small” to=”name@somemail.com”]
ii) Special Gifts With External Link —In this shortcode we have removed “step 2” section. And you can enter your custom link into “Select” Button. So that you can include your “Proceed to Checkout” link to each and every gift cards.
II) GIFT SECTION TEXT ISSUES —We will add this option in our theme updates. 1) Replace the attached file in the path wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/shortcodes/shortcodes.php to fix the issue.

a) You can find the default.po file in the themes folder itself. Get into this path wp-content/themes/spalab/languages and you can find the spalab.pot, rename it to default.po file.
b) If you are running a multi language site, you need to install the wpml plugin.
c) Or if you are running a single language site other than english. Say for example if you are running German site only. Go to wp-config.php and change the language code as define(‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE’);
d) Then rename the file default.po to de_DE.po and open the file with a poeditor and you can translate all the texts from our theme.
e) Finally you will get the mo file there. Uploading that mo file the site will be fully translated to german.

1) works perfectly. About 2) I don’t need to create a new translation, I would like to use the french one provided with the theme. The site is running on a single language. Wordpress is set in french (4.0). Do I need to move fr_FR.mo and fr_FR.po to a specific folder to make it work ? Thanks,

You need to open the file fr_FR.po in a poeditor and translate the contents and save it. Once you save it, the fr_FR.mo file will be generated. Upload that fr_FR.mo file in the path wp-content/themes/spalab/languages/ so that the translation works.

Hi, i found in comments how to make the icons clickable and link to pages. [dt_sc_icon_box_with_image] this shortcode.
now you wrote to edit the shortcode.php and enter this rule: $out .= "<a href="{$link}" target="_blank"><div class="icon"> <span class="ico-pic"> <img src="" .="" alt="{$image_alt}" title="{$image_title}" /> </span> </div></a>";
But if i change the rule, the website is not loading anymore 
Editing with notepad is ok right.

1) Sorry we do not have that option in this theme.
2) Follow the below steps to update the theme.
i) Download the theme from themeforest page.
ii) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
iii) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
iv) go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp
v) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
vi) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

I have used Woocommerce to create the gift vouchers and purchased an extension to allow for information like recipient name, email, message and a feature which allows the end user to enter an amount they want to give.
This is in preparation for the link from the gift module when you guys release the new update. I have two problems I need help with please:
1) When clicking the shop page I get a huge blank image and 3 products not displaying side by side and cant find an option to make this 3 column with RHS on this page.

The word “Recipient” in English means the “Receiver” so anyone who understands English will know that this is the details of the person who is to receive the Gift Card, so again as I stated clearly above that the ONLY information the business receives is the details of the person who will receive the gift card. ( Are we then expected to contact the person who is to receive the gift for payment too? ).
This alone makes your Gift Card module unusable because it does not send the correct information needed to contact the person who wishes to purchase the Gift Card on behalf of someone else. Do you not understand this?
Possible resolves?
Proceed to checkout should link to a shopping cart item that could request their payment info and contact details right? is this possible?
PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION?
If this is NOT possible then how can we edit the text within the form to say something like:
Please enter YOUR details
Please enter YOUR email address
Please enter YOUR telephone number
Then can we change the button text “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” to “REQUEST GIFT CARD”
Then when this has been clicked in the following message:

OK so what does “inbuilt validation” mean? can this not be edited within the code? it is only text after all?
Is it possible to remove the form section Steps 2 and simply have the button “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” as a link button to a product?
This way we could use woocommerce as the way to buy a gift card, take payment and all the correct details?
Will woocommerce “Smart Coupons” extension work with this theme?
Sorry to be a pain but i am on a deadline trying to deal with something that should be simple to create and need a fix soon!
If none of this works then how much will you charge to customize it?
Another Idea is to have the “SELECT BUTTON” link to a product in the woocommerce products page?

I have inserted images into pages but on mobile the images scale horizontally but not vertically and are distorted.
Also, I have inserted an image into page. It is aligned to the left. When i look at on mobile landscape some bits of text is still wrapping the image. Is there a way to make the image full width on mobile versions so this doesnt happen?

First problem – On mobile the images scale horizontally but not vertically and are distorted. It appears this issue is also related in some way to second. when i put image in full size there is no distortion but if i scale the image down ‘proportionally’ distortion occurs on mobile devices. See See example here: http://jolique.co.uk/men/. Note first image.
Second Problem – where text wrap around image on mobile landscape and portrait is resolved. It appears if i place image as full size the device scales full width. If i place image as medium or custom size issue occurs
Has it something to do with image class?

I have a couple of questions:
1) I would like to change the footer logo to my own logo. Can you tell me how I can do this? or where I can find the current image through FTP if needed?
2) Gift Card sections:
OK so the gift card section as you have designed it to be should work as follows:
Step 1 = Select the gift card Step 2 = Write a special message and enter other details as follows:
Recipients email address. ( so this will be the recipient of the gift right? ) Recipients Name ( So this will be the name of the person receiving the gift right? )
Delivery Date: ( The date the person receiving the gift should actually get it right?
Step 3 = PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
Upon clicking the proceed to checkout it sends an email to the company showing the following exact information to my clients business:

Gift ID: £75.00 Voucher
Contact Reason: Thanks for everything love from mum & dad

OK guys so now imagine that as a business you receive this email which contains the details of the person who is to receive the gift, it has their name, email and the message to be sent with the gift voucher. My questions are simple because my english is great!
Who is paying for the gift card as the only contact info is for the person who is to receive the gift card?
What is the address of the person who we need to send the gift card to?
Who is the person who has asked for the gift card in the first place?
How do we contact the person who requested the gift card to gain payment and any other information as above?
Now lets look at this from the end users perspective ( Point of view )
So they have just followed the steps above and click on a button that clearly says:
PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.
Almost al internet users understand and expect that this will take them to a checkout page to make a payment right? WRONG instead they get this mesage:
Message Sent
Thank you John Doe, your message has been submitted and someone will contact you shortly.
OK so this is VERY confusing for the end user as they now think STRANGE, how do I pay for my voucher and how will they contact me shortly when they do NOT know who I am or how to contact me!
This has clearly not been thought through and ultimately your Gift Card module is not fit for purpose and nor is it as described which means we can all request a refund based on the product not being as described!.
Possible resolves?

That’s 3 days on the home page now. Great theme just not user friendly and the support is very lax. Please help guys this is taking far too long and will put people off buying your themes in future.

I want to change the font color of the Mega Menu sub-menu items Tried adding the following snippet from the Grey skin style.css file to Dashboard -> SpaLab -> Integration -> Custom Css :
