that’s not an error but just a notification that there is a newer version than the one you currently have.

but i want to launch my website and its not allowing me to change my logo, please suggest?
the VC plugin is optional which means the theme works 100% fine without it and it doesn’t need it to operate fully, so whatever you’re reporting as preventing you to update your logo most likely is related to something else. At this point I would ask you to start a new support thread in our support forum so we could check your issue with your logo. You can subscribe to the Support Forum HERE.

In my case Français
I recently did a clean install on our site of this theme ( which is lovely by the way not knocking it ) and did so using a French Wordpress Install. Previously we had it installed as an English Wordpress only. Since we wanted to change the look and feel of the previous site as well as make it in French, we went with the French Wordpress install. All went well, WP installed perfectly and the theme installed perfectly and from what I saw appeared to automatically translated as well. Yippie! I decided to go with the second way of installing the demo content which you can view here:

All went perfectly using Andon’s instructions. Not a hiccup, beautifully done! With one minor exception,
My French Wordpress Install became an English Wordpress after importing the demo content the second way as shown in the forum.
I only realized afterwards that basically this way literally ” transfers a site ”. Yes I read about the pages and posts and such would be over-written, I had already started with a clean install so never gave a thought that the French Wordpress itself would also be overwritten. I had to go to cpanel and start a whole new process again. This time, I went with method one in support of importing demo content after the new fresh install of the French and all again went well. Just thought I’d give a heads up as far as the methods used for wordpress in your language importing demo content. If you are not using an English Wordpress, use Andon’s initial method of importing the demo content. There may even be comments regarding this there, honestly does not know, no time to look, I just went to method two and jumped in.
We have been using this theme for a couple of years now, we love it. One of the nicest themes I have ever worked with.
We considered buying a new one when we decided to freshen our site up a bit, but after careful consideration decided to stay with this one as it is just that great.

Hi There,
Can you please show us how to keep the background images from disappearing when the theme is set to responsive? I see other sites using this theme are able to keep their background images and aren’t forced to use a color when the width is small.

my team and me are currently building the site for our client with The Ken, but we are considering switching to uDesign or other theme, because The Ken developers are not able to provide us with the functionalities and support we need. (Technically, they could, but they are not delivering.)
Here are the mockups for the two most important pages on the site: Homepage and the Search page. You will find the most important features boxed with the colored background – blog feed (2 columns) and WooCommerce shop feed (1 column), plus infinite scroll or load more loading the next batch or page of posts / search results; also, both the home page and the search page should share the layout and styling regarding main content (blog and product feeds).

Considering many of the features you require like “Infinite Scroll” and the layout configurations specific to your project (custom Search page, etc.) are not offered in the theme by default, those would require custom work to accomplish.
Our support is top-notch, but we do not offer customizations, those would be responsibility of the buyer. As stated under the “Support” tab, the free support we provide here is limited strictly to the theme’s default features or any technical issues with the default theme, I believe that’s the case for most if not all authors on ThemeForest.

we usually do some testing to make sure the new release is compatible with the theme before doing an update, so stay tuned it’s coming Also, sometimes there are follow up bug fixes releases following up a major update like this one so it’s a good idea to wait a couple of days to grab those follow up updates as well.

Concerning your theme and the integration between buddypress. What is the difference between the buddypress themes (like Kleo, Dynamix, etc.) showed up on themeforest under buddypress category and yours? and if there is no diff why your theme doesn’t show up under buddypress category?!

I’m not familiar with these themes, it’s possible that some themes were designed specifically for BuddyPress, that’s not the case with my theme which is more multipurpose theme. I added BuddyPress compatibility later but the original design was not BP centric, so I did not list my theme as BuddyPress category just as compatible, possible that’s what you see as the difference in your searches.

first of all I liked the demos sites you designed they are awesome!! I am going to build a website for social network. I will use buddypress, I have some questions: - Is your theme compatible with buddypress and let us do some kind of customization? - Do you have a membership plugin that we can use? - Do you have Facebook log in integration? and live notifications (like facebook) so we can integrate it to our buddypress activities?
Let us know if you have any client use your theme with buddypress just to browse and know how it works with it.

OK, to your question, yes the theme is compatible with BuddyPress and you should be able to customize it as you would through the BP API. The answer is ‘no’ to your other two questions. There are many third party membership plugins out there that should work fine with the theme, I don’t have a specific one to recommend.

I have several blog posts that do not appear on my website’s blog page. They are only visible when I am signed in. I have tried reinstalling the theme as well as deactivating and reactivating the plugins but neither one has worked. I made sure the categories are correct and each post was published too. I love this theme for its semplicity to customize…i have settled lot of pages, but in the end the main paoblem is that i cant’t settle sidebar in portfolio… I really need, in other case have to think to change the theme…. do you have any option even ith any plugin (because i have already settled the entire site)
in my case i need 2/3 coloumn sortable portfolio with left sidebar

I’m working on a site for a client that uses this theme. They have the site set up so that the home page is using a two-column layout. Is it possible to include a row that spans both columns in the content area, instead of just either before or after the content area?
