I want to buy the skylab theme to practise WordPress. Is it possible to customise the theme myself with a child theme folder? So I can transform the layout and add in my own code?

Please let me know as soon as possible as what to buy asap!

Does this update still have the audio capabilities to import audio from soundcloud?

Hi I’ve create a Portfolio Page but it’s not showing the Categories like your Demo. I’ve create two new Categories and has enabled filter in Portfolio Alternative Settings. Please, is there anything else to do? Thanks

I tried to install theme Skylab but I have some problems with importing the demo data (all content).

I have fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/alfa-gdansk/ftp/fotoarchitektura/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 191

What should I do?

I installed the last update, and as many other persons, everything is broken. After installing the plugins, I found again the portfolio, but the galleries disappeared… Having to reconfigure everything (fonts, structures, …etc) is to much work right now. I wanted to install the previous version that I kept on a localhost install to be able to test the template. But it don’t work !!! I wan’t the previous version back but can’t find any download link :-/

You really should have warned your users about this update.

I have had this theme for more than a year and I am very disappointed with the version 3. I have to redo my website from scratch, lost all my portfolios etc.

The developers had no consideration for existing clients. VERY sad and disappointed, so much effort reduced to 0 in a split second. This is not an update, this is a new theme and should be sold as such.

Cool theme – much better than the previous !!!!

Indeed, I need the old version of the theme. With titles and descriptions. In your new theme there are only photos! Not possible for graphic designer as me.

Hi, MT! The gallery filtering categories are displayed in alphabetical order, how can i make them appear on my order? And also i want to rename the filter “all” because my site and all of my categories are in cyrillic.

The developer does not seem to understand the basic principle of what a theme UPDATE consists of (i.e. everything continues to work after a normal theme update and looks the same). WARNING: this new version is really a completely different theme and should have been called with a NEW name. It is NOT an update to the skylab theme… Version 2 parts from completely different principles. When portfolios and galleries disappear and you are forced to create all entries anew to adapt to the new setup and end up with a different theme altogether, you know you are being taken for a ride. And all without a proper warning announcement. Very bad practice and utterly disappointing.

WOW…when the developer gives you this as an answer after an update:

“You will need to re-create your pages”

Then you know you gonna have some sh^t to deal with. What if the blog is a year old and there are a few hundred pages. I am not so sure that is totally reasonable.
