How can I change the “course” slug? I noticed that is possible to change the “portfolio” slug, but I really would like to change the “course”.

I’m launching a new video course, and I’m interested in buying this theme to use it for the students’ website. I’m not planning to use the integrated system to sell the course (I use Clickbank).

I want to be able to do content-dripping from their subscription date, and for that I use Digital Access Pass : when people subscribe, an account is automatically created in DAP. I have the option to also auto-create a Wordpress user account.

I’d just like to know how does your LMS works : when someone subscribe, is it a wordpress account that’s created ? Or an account specific to CleverCourse ? Be cause if it’s a wordpress account, it could probably work out of the box.

hello – I just updated the theme version and wordpress is requesting an updated version of Goodlayers LMS. This was included with the theme so, do you have this for theme buyers?

I was building out a site using this theme and I created a demo account to check out if everything is running smoothly. On the profile page under Booked Courses, the following message shows up: “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’, expecting ’,’ or ’;’ in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/goodlayers-lms/user/book-courses.php on line 43”

When I check that file I see: ”$fix_val[‘course-id’] = $result->course_id;”

Not sure why its complaining about a } but any chance you can resolve this?

Extended License?

If the goal of this theme is to produce a LMS that is charged for, then wouldn’t everyone have to buy an extended license, not just the envato regular license?

If so, where is the option to buy the extended license version?

Ehy cant you just make it compatible with bbpress….I regret buying this, other counterparts have bbpress fully compatible. Why is this an exception?

I see there’s a way to set commissions for course instructors, but is there a way for people so submit their own courses to sell on the website front-end (so it functions as a course marketplace similar to sites like Udemy)?

Looking to get a course theme.. but I’m kind of offering it in a unique way. Help me with the process?

I resell fitness programs, and bundled with that is a “Challenge”. Normally, the challenge aspect is managed through autoresponders or Facebook group posts. I think this would be better.

The challenge itself is “free”, but the customer has to commit to purchasing the program… The program purchase is charged and shipped by the company I’m a rep for… The flow I am thinking:

Visitor picks a program, they see the Challenge Pack price ”$119” and go to purchase it on my course site. This registers them, and then they receive an email based on the course (or the course homepage) that the next step is to purchase the program from a link. They are now a customer.

I will get a notification for the registration, and then must check the other website if the purchase was made, or send a reminder to the customer they must make the purchase.

Once I confirm the purchase, I can start them on the course timeline. The prep week while their purchase ships, then the actual program the correlates with their fitness program. The course will be tailored to the program they choose, which will have a quiz each week on their feedback (what days they worked out, fill in the blank how they felt, and actually quiz them on what they read from that week’s content).

Does that make sense? Could this work?

Thank you for a great theme! I’m busy setting it up and I noticed that once a student register on the website, they’re added under ‘Users’ as a ‘Student.’

I want to be able to cross sell course A to students that signed up for (and completed) another course, i.e. course B. Is there any way to manage this from the theme or do you know of a plug-in that can help? I’ve tried to research plug-ins but alas, no luck.

In essence I want to be able to segment students based on courses signed up for / courses completed.
