I’ll make more test about the contact form, it seems that it don’t work good with the mail() function on some host.

I found the problem. It is “SI- Captcha Anti Spam” which is creating the problem. Updated it yesterday, and everything went black, I believe Christana’s problem lies there also.
Christina, my site looks exactly the same, there is something seriously wrong here.
Twi you need to give us some clear answers on this, we can’t afford this. This is causing serious loss of Business.

The site which I built with this Theme, just stopped working completely.
Everything is just black, nothing works, not the navigation, jqeury, ajax etc. Just completely dead.
Is the older versions, somehow affected by the Updates that you produce?
This is a very important site, and your reply is urgently required.

Can you deactivate all plugins you have and try again? If you did all the documentation step, the problem can come from some plugin conflict. Keep me up to date!

I saw a few people talk about the contact issues. I was wondering if their was a solution for it yet.
I have tried to send a few test e-mails and I am not receiving them.

Do you have the latest files? Maybe it can came from your host and some restriction with the mail() function. It’s working great on the live preview and it’s the same code.
I just bought and downloaded it on friday so I think I have the latest files.
I am using GoDaddy as the host site, I am using their Wordpress hosting package, basically it does all the thinking for me.
The contact form is very cool but I could live without it to make my sight even more simple. Is there a way I can delete it easily if the contact form is not easily fixed.

You can comment the line 12 from the footer.php to remove the link to the contact form putting 2 // at the beginning.

Images not loading, contact form not working – still says John Doe and page links in the footer not working at all when I click on them..
I have followed all the instructions – cache and minimalist folders set to 755 – are you sure it’s not supposed to be 777?

I got the background showing up somehow, not sure how, but when I go back to the homepage it doesn’t show up all the time, the big bg image so I am not sure what exactly the issue could be there. That is one issue, but also the scrolling in FF still as stated above.

Well, I can’t help if the install is on your localhost. Can you make another install online and test it?

The first category “Data Visualization” has a bg set on it too as well as the first loading page, or by clicking on my logotype, those are the only 2 right now for testing. The background’s loading seem they may be working, somewhat as I see, but the scrolling issue is a larger issue for me personally.
Could you please let me know what you may find out?

I updated the template finally but for me locally, the background images do not work and the ability to scroll on each post in the content does not work with the mouse scroller in Firefox all the time (it does like once out of 10 or more times when clicking on posts).
I was wondering if this is an issue that I have because this install is local or what the reason for it is. I updated all the files from the template download and am using my same database from my live site. I didn’t want to update my live site with the new files so I’m glad I didn’t at this time.
Please let me know if there is any solution to the above or if anyone else may have the same problems! Again, when I enter a BG image it and “update” the post it just disappears as if it didn’t take the image and it doesn’t show up, then again the scroll issue in Firefox.

Hey, man! Sorry for last night, but I found out what was happening, it was the Contact Form 7… I just turned it off and everything worked fine!

Hi TWI , apparently making the hashtag into a hashbang solves the issue of indexing by Google.
For Google to crawl your Ajax content, they require hash (#) and exclamation point (!) which is together named as “Hashbang”(#!).
Is there a simple way to tweak the theme to do this? Would changing the template-ajax-retrieve be sufficient?
from: #/portfolio|<?php echo $cat_slug; ?> to: #!/portfolio|<?php echo $cat_slug; ?>

There some js too to edit, I need to make some test before saying what to edit. But I don’t know when I could do it, don’t have a lot of free time lately, lots of project in queue :/

Ok, solved both issues.
Thumbnail is 240×160.
Page title was caused by setting in Wordpress>general settings>reading>homepage shows posts.
However, page titles do not reflect post titles, which is not nice SEO wise. Suggestions??

About the title, as everything is ajax powered… it’ll not change during browsing. I’ll maybe look for a solution in a future update.

do have an issue: post title do not show in page title. This is fixed to blog title (Chrome).
Bigger issue is that IE and Firefox show page not found as page title. Incorrect i assume?
SEO would be nice of course.

just downloaded the latest file version.. remove the old one, install latest version, clear cache..
everything works nicely except CONTACT FORM ..
keeps receiving red zero every time i tried sending a test email..
