Hi! Is it possible to change the order of de responsive blocks on a mobile device. On http://www.testduel.nl/visie/ we have a summary of a strategy and on a mobile device the order is doesnt match the story. Is there a way to manualy re-arrange the blocks? THanks for the help! Kind regards Giselle

You’d need to change the order for desktop too and then use css to change the float of the specific column to something else to keep the order the order as it is now visually. Doing this will later the order things stack on mobile

Hi, Pre Sales Q: Very nice theme; congrats.. I’d like to mimic as much as possible this site: http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/ .. So, specifically;
1. I need a MASONRY layout Homepage.. THAT site uses PACKERY JScript (http://packery.metafizzy.co/) to have THAT type of Masonry Layout..Can I replicate it with SALIENT’s masonry feature?
2) In THAT site, EACH (POST/IMAGE) in Masonry group has a “bold big” TITLE; Not Below but ON the POST/IMAGE thumbnail.. Can I do it w/ SALIENT?
3) In THAT site, HomePage is INFINITE SCROLL and The Posts are GROUPED by date.. IT does not have to be by Date; but e.g. can I GROUP the posts by CATEGORY/TAGS ? (Each group will still have that Masonry layout)
4) On hover or without hover; can I put Social sharing icons ON these masonry items On Hover or Always (without hover) ?
5) Kindly specify for each item above, If I can do these with V as is,, OR with some CSS tweaking or with Plugins like PACKERY..

3. You can only have one infinite scroll instance per page – you could indeed have different pages in the site with different categories using infinite scroll – but to do something like they have with separations on the same page inside the infinite scroll would take development
4. The social sharing buttons will only work correctly on the single page – having sets of them on each masonry item would take a plugin

They show up with transparency turned black… Like what happens when you copy-paste PNGs into Photoshop directly.

Here you go: Banner display black (only one of them) + the boxes underneath cannot be formed/ shaped using CSS. I dont know why…

1. I have version 5.0 which I believe is the latest release. It’s strange it’s just on mobile that the sort function isn’t working. I’ve tried it on both safari and chrome from my iPhone and neither work?

You’d need to use the portfolio element located inside of your visual composer – you can specify the full width masonry layout in there and choose specific categories for what you want to display

Hey – You’d need to modify the css in regards since each line and the spacing for it is actually controlled separately css to allow for that animation on open/close – open the style.css and search for ”.lines-button” in regards
The Slide Out Widget Area is creating errors in IE9 (and IE8) on Windows 7 OS. It is always displaying, with no option to close.

Hi, may I suggest that in the next update, you change the embedded user guide PDF, located within the theme information tab, to a link.
1. It is currently using a http:// url, invalidating SSL (secure content only message), within the dashboard (Salient section). I know you can use https:// (or ://) as it’s a google doc but….
2. Most importantly, the user guide seems to be loaded in all tabs throughout the Salient section, (General Settings, Accent color, Boxed layout etc..). This causes the page loading time to increase most notably the first time when clicking on a Salient tab. This maybe due to the PDF downloading in the background, even when it’s not needed.
Hope you can fix this within the next update, otherwise great theme guys

On another page I want the ability to have multiple rows of Pricing Tables (like the default tables)

Hey – you could use parallax row BG’s for this (just leave the row empty of content and set some top or bottom padding). You’d then need to add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

OK I tried this but it does not appear to work. Row withBG image only, parallax enabled, no content. The BG is still active when scrolling. I’m sorry I can’t share the page as it is in a dev area. I did see any change when I added the CSS.
Sorry that should say “did not see any changes”. I did delete the cache.
One more thing—in the example site it is the images mid-page I am talking about, not the top image. The ones that are locked down and do not move during scrolling.

That should only occur if you had the standalone VC active prior to activating Salient – to remedy this just delete that plugin via FTP
