Solved (again!). Again, for users who have WP-ROCKET, and if you use a child theme, the plugin “cancel” the dependancy between your child theme and parent theme. this is incredible. You need not to use the @import function on your style.css and use the function in function.php, like in this tutorial.(http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#How_to_Create_a_Child_Theme) Again flush the cache, and there you go. NB : english not my native language, sorry if i made mistakes.

I am happy with the theme overall but I get a daily (or more often) notification in my menu that I have a plugin that needs an update only to see no plugins that needs an update. Any feedback for this issue or a fix?

Hi, i seem to have a problem with another plugin used in your theme. The plugin im using is Ninja popup. It works fine for my rows but when i try to put the link shortcode on the nectar slider button, it does not work. The pop up does not trigger

It works fine on the same page after you scroll down but the button wouldn’t trigger on the slider itself. Please help T_T

If you do not find a more suitable solution, you could just use
Appearance > Menus > Links
enter the telephone number in the Link Text box and add it to the menu header location. It will display the phone number admittedly as a link but just set it to # thereby it will link to self

Hi, a pre-sale question, I am looking to buy this theme for use as a graphic design blog, therefore would like to use full width graphics on every blog page the same as sample page below:

However on that blog page the header entry-title and other info appears to be automatically placed over the full width graphic, is there an option to place this back within the post as this would interfere with all my full width headers.

As of now this would take custom modding in regards – you could easily hide that info with css but to change locations would require moving some of the code around

I doubt I would be capable of working out how to rearrange this myself which is the only thing putting me off purchasing as I want my headers and info within the blog posts to be clear and not have to worry about the header I use to provide enough contrast for the text to be readable.
I am confident with CSS and html but havent learnt any php yet, If I purchase the theme would somebody be able to inform me of the relevant changes that I would need to make and to which files?

is it possible to easily change the width of the boxed layout version of the site ie. just now the boxed layout version appears at 1400px on my screen and i would prefer the site width to be 1000px or 960px wide etc.
if so, would the site’s elements still remain responsive? i ask this because another theme we use AVADA has this as an option within the site’s control panel and you simply type in the required width – possible future feature to include?

Hi, We have a question regarding slider. Does the slider supports different plugins shortcode over it and can have multiple layers? or can we use Revolution slider instead with the same transparent header?

1. You can place shortcodes in the caption area but there’s no option for multiple layers
2. There’s an option to force the transparent header effect over the top element in your page so yes, but it wont have the light/dark text overlay possibilities on a per slide basis like the Nectar Slider offers

Hey team, i updated the theme, and I have a weird error since then. If you go on this page : http://kribou.ca/realise-toi-entrepreneuriat-illustre/ it will load on desktop, but on smartphones, it only loads… Somebody told me that was an error with javascript and jquery (but i don’t know anythink about js…) Do you what’s happening and how to fix it please? Found it (I think) and i may help some other people with my answer. If you use WP-ROCKET, and activated the minify CSS/JS option. desactivate it! It mess with all this theme! I think it begun since the last version of the plugin : 2.4 So the plugin broke the JS code (with the superfish stuff…) and after i fixed the website, the css went wront. In Chrome developer tool, I saw something about CSS min. When the option was off, all the website was restored.

Yes – if you use any minification plugin or service you’d need to ensure that the stylesheets and js files are still getting loaded in the same order as by default (listed in the functions.php file) when being compressed/combined

Hi there, great theme.
Are there any page header settings to stop the header image uploaded from resizing up to fit the screen width? I don’t want it to force a resize up to be full width, I just want the image to resize down but not up. So if I upload an image that is 1600px wide, then it only displays a max of 1600px wide. Make sense and can this be done?

Salient themes were also the part that conflict with each other in many ways compared to other theme style sheet The problem here seems.
This gave every question, but most did solve alone.
Anyway, the blank target if the application only if the administrator is a New Window Open to respond to the mobile version The desktop version is not a new window open.

I have been using Salient on a site for about a year. I had the Map on the “Contacts” page working until I upgraded the to the newest install just today. I double-checked my settings to see if there was anything wrong, and checked it on multiple browsers. Here is what my settings look like: Map settings Any ideas to help me?

1. Are you talking about through the icon shortcode?
2. Are you talking about the footer section? if so you can handle that in the footer options tab of the Salient options panel by selecting the custom option for your color scheme

Dear Theme Nectar Team,
have two Problems. Im using the non responsive option for Mobiles.
1.By using a full width column with a paralax background-picture ans some text inside, everything works fine on Desktop, you see the picture in full width, but on mobiles you see just a part of the background picture, something around 10% of the width…
2.Inside my portfolio project (projectdesription as sidebar, on right side), on desktop everything works fine, on mobiles the description text appears on wrong position, not in the sidebar on the right side, it appers behind the last projectpicture…
