I’m very impressed with the theme’s incredible customization and flexibility. Looking forward to use it as my next project. Still got a few questions to ask :
- Is it possible to have a page where it’s a 5 Column Grid portfolio but each image redirects to another portfolio (not a single project, just another set of images) ? Like having a portfolio inside a portfolio, without filtering above it ?
- Is portfolio filtering a standard or can be ignored ? What if I don’t want to use any categorizing to my pics and just put them in their respected portfolios ?
- Also, can a portfolio have a 100% Width in a page ?
- A single project’s page (like Wide Image Post page in your demo – http://theme-fusion.com/avada/portfolio-items/curabitur-malesuada-lorem/) can it have a small portfolio inside it (like a 6 Column Classic) underneath it (again without filtering above it) ?
I know it’s a long list of questions, but bear me with them. Really interested in Avada, as it’s versatility makes it the ultimate theme to work with. Thanks in advance.

1. Hmmm yes you could do this. Each portfolio post you make, can link to the default single post page, or it can have a custom URL entered so link to wherever you would like. So you would setup the other pages with more images, then use that link in the custom URL field for the portfolio post.
2. Yes it can be ignored, you can turn off the filters.
3. Yes for sure
4. Yes, you can insert the recent work shortcode in the post page. Recent work is our portfolio shortcode that allows you to insert posts on any page.

On Windows computers and mobile devices the logo looks ‘crunched’/’pushed together’, although I have uploaded the logo in the right sizes (different size for retina et cetera). Can you please help me?

Make sure the retina logo dimensions you input in theme options are of the regular 1X logo size, not the 2X. And make sure they are the exact width and height of the file. One other thing it could be is the overall size of your logo. If the 1x logo size is wider than a mobile phone, then there is no other option but ti have it scale down so it fits.

I bought this theme, I’m setting up my fusion slider however I cannot seem to see the fusion slider settings as shown in the tutorial video.
E.G the slider hight / full screen or parallax etc.
I am on a Mac and tried using chrome and safari.

Themeforest license rules state that one single license purchase is good for one finished site. So if you need to use the theme on a second site, you would be required to buy a second license.
You can transfer the theme to a new domain once its done, that is perfectly fine. In the end, just make sure you have one license for any finished/live site.

Avada is a WordPress theme. So we guess you want to install WordPress on your CakePHP environment? This can generally be done, but there are some steps to take in order to get it working. There are several tutorials out there for that purpose. Once WordPress is runnging smoothly, you should be able to work with Avada.

Hello. I am looking to make a anime website using wordpress. I have a plugin and I have been told it works with any wordpress theme. So I am wondering if I buy your theme will it work with the plugin or vice versa? Anime website is an entertainment website and its not like any general website in terms of looks. So I am confused. I wanted to give url to an anime website so that could have checked but I am not sure if I should be posting links to other website here.

We don’t offer a dedicated login page template with Avada but when you use woocommerce, we offer a my account link in the navigation which contains a dropdown to login to the site.

Yes, Avada comes with one click demo data importer which will import the contents of the live demo (a little different due to licensed assets) which you can then modify to setup your site quickly.

I’m sorry that you are having trouble with the page speed. Page speed recommends minifying and combining the assets which is a good practice especially for multipurpose themes.
First of all, I’d recommend going to theme options -> advanced tab and disable any extra resources that you don’t need for your setup which will help reduce the size of theme assets. (this is improving even more in the next version of the theme)
Secondly, please install w3 total cache plugin and use our recommended settings to combine and minify the assets: https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-speed-up-your-site-with-w3tc-plugin/

The alt text is blank, can you please confirm the alt text is enterable for all the images within the theme using all the themes features?

We only offer basic buddypress compatibility at the moment. Since we don’t offer official styling support, we don’t have that available as our demo but I can confirm that a lot of our users are using buddypress without any issues.

Hi, I had a question about the use of projects and SEO. Can I set the projects to appear under a specific URL page type:
Eg. domain/specificpage-topic/projectname
This is important as my sites topics are broken down into 4 sections weddings, events etc. So the projects about weddings need to appear under the main wedding page and so on.

Out of the box, categories are not a part of the permalink slug but with help of a wordpress plugin, you can achieve this setup. This is not actually a theme specific problem.

Thanks for your response. Maybe my description was not quite clear, I meant can the project page be part of a parent page of the site rather than the default domain/projects/project-name? Instead domain/wordpress-parent-page/project-name
Hmmm that is definitely not possible out of the box, it may be with customizations but we’re not positive as we’ve never tried it.

Hi there! First, I want to say that I’ve purchased other WP Templates from themeforest.net before, but NONE of them compare to your Avada theme. I am a trained graphic designer, however, I am not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination. This is the only theme a person would ever need and it would give them hundreds of options in creating a multitude of different websites! Not only is there a lot of versatility, but the backend is easy to navigate compared to other themes and everything is very well documented. You’ve got a customer in me for life!
I do have a question that I’m hoping you can assist me with. I have set up some pricing tables for a client, but she has very specific colors for her brand. The pricing tables are coming up as the “pink” color for theme, but it’s darker than my client’s brand of pink (it’s inheriting the pink that comes with the template). I can set the colors form within the theme options for virtually everything on the site – from headers and fonts, etc. to match my client’s brand, but I don’t see where I can adjust the pricing table colors (I’m using table #2).
Do I need to add the child theme to adjust this or can I add some code right into the pricing table in the fusion builder? And, if I have to use a child theme, would you share the name of where this style is at – there’s lots of styles and it would save me a lot of time.

I’m glad you were able to find the theme options. The color options are highly customizable using theme options. Look for styling options and shortcode styling options tab within the theme options for full control.
