Other than the layout, what makes it different?

the back-end will be powered by the same engine as OMG (omega, metrodir and glocal)

ok but what features will make it different…

look we don’t want to make a theme better than the other we just want to provide directories that offer different designs and flows so that buyers can choose the one that fits them the most

in terms of features we would like all our themes to offer the same functionalities, sometimes we implement a feature in Glocal then move it to metrodit and vice-versa most of the time the delay is about creating the front-end material to make it suitable

for example we’re going to launch vertical maps for glocal and metrodir like airbnb, if we need to do the same for globo then we need to design the psds but at the end the functionalities will be the same more or less

if you’re not sure about which theme to take then don’t buy any of them or buy them all

look, as a potential customer I needed to be clear as to which direction to go. At this point it is unclear since all 3 of your directory themes may have the same functionality.

The great thing about buying themes at themeforest is the ability to find niche themes that offer something unique in terms of design and functionality. If this theme does not bring any new features, then it is merely a remake of your last themes.

The layout seems nice but to really seal the deal for me, it should offer some form of innovation or coding that scream “pick me”...you get my point?

As for me, I am still searching for a really great SEO directory theme packed with modern day technology and function with perfection on mobile devices. It should have custom post for best SEO practices, powerfully front and backend system and shine from similar themes with layout and overall style.

I’ve followed your past directories and although they are nice I had no real reason to pull the trigger and purchase one. You’re right, my uncertainty about which theme to buy may leave me not to buy one or not.

my friend this is going to lead to an endless back&forth discussion, so let me start with the conclusion, then revert to some of the points mentioned above then finally go out and enjoy the w.e before it’s over

conclusion: do not buy any of the directory themes simply because there’s a gap between your perception of a directory theme and our approach in terms of Ui/Ux especially if you are not able to visualize the Ui/Ux optimization that we did between OMG and Globo (you just need to pay attention to the details on the different homepage versions of globo and you’ll understand what I mean)

regarding your comments above:

- there’s no such thing as a great SEO directory theme, you can have a great directory theme then include the necessary tools & plugins that will help you optimize your SEO strategy (that’s why we made our themes compatible with YOAST SEO plugin) + together with your knowledge of SEO (I invite you to read this article: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2012/12/11/seo-the-inconvenient-truth/ )

so point1: don’t rely on the directory to optimize your SEO strategy rely on the necessary tools to make that happen (especially not for a 58$ theme where we get $40 per copy)

- we’ve been updating OMG themes on a weekly basis for over a year so we provide enhancements in concordance with what our buyers have been asking us, so our innovation process is simple we follow what our buyers need in concordance with the level of priority.

so in order to stay faithful to our buyers we will keep making all our directory themes grow together without prioritizing a theme over the other

so again my advice is that you don’t buy any of these themes because your expectations will be beyond what the theme offers and sooner or later you’ll be requiring more and more features that are tailor-made to your needs, and you won’t end up satisfied.

On the other hand almost 2000 customers are using our directory themes and we have a high rate of very satisfied buyers and it’s important for us that whoever joins on board stays & remains more than satisfied

My comments are not intended to incite frustration but to point out what others (customers) might be looking for. 2000 customers is a lot in terms of satisfied buyers but please don’t discount new prospects of a possible 10000 or better new buyers.

I am familiar with Yoast and All in One SEO plugins. In fact they are my preferred SEO plugins for best practices after launching a WP site. But some theme neglect proper codes and it should go without saying however I’ve learnt never leave anything to chance, so the discussion of SEO will always remain a priority for me.

Whether it is $58 or $40, having a reliable product for customers rather than a single customer can turn into millions; so I prefer to look at it from the mindset that proper coding, design, and unique concepts can lead to happier customers.

Like I mentioned before cloning one directory with a different face-page is fine for some but I wanted to be clear what new features would be offered with this theme to attract another 2000 or more new buyers.

Many buyers would require custom coding and design but if those buyers knew what exactly was offered and the extent of the theme, many of them may not have purchased a particular theme. I am not interested in custom coding but some details on a possible great directory.

please don’t misunderstand me, i’m more than open & happy when it comes to critics, and there’s absolutely no signs of negativity in your previous messages, I just wanted to underline the limitations & the extensions required from customers for tailor-made adaptations.

you were asking about the functionalities and the answer that we have been trying from the start to provide all the functionalities that customers have been asking us so in terms of features they will be the same as OMG themes and will be evolving in parallel with the corresponding enhancements, if people complain or request for a more optimized SEO adaptation then Andrey the lead dev will take it into consideration, as he’s the one interacting with the customers & prospects in the comment sections of OMG

so what’s new about Globo, on one hand it’s a fresher design + very well optimized in terms of UI/UX on the homepage, because the approach of information on demand has been optimized, if you look carefully at the homepages, you’ll see that users are a click away from the information they need and the general content appears without the same frame/page (not all PSDs have been included in the package)

now the important message is that don’t buy any theme until you’re 100% sure that it will satisfy your needs because Andrey & the team are really working under pressure + if you have a specific wishlist of features that you think are missing you can send us a PM following the support format procedure and Andrey will add them to the ideas box
