Hi. Thank you for updates. Some changes / bugs:
(1) booking calendar on availability tab now, but still only one month visible at a time and not 2 or 3 months for example. (2) The booking will still block immediately the dates for other bookings, that is there is still no admin functionality to confirm the booking first!!! (3) The change ‘Central widget area added to home page for list widgets to be addable’ causes a big empty space below the slider on homepage as we’re not using any list widget on homepage; we’re using just the search which appears in the slider area. (4) In accommodations the fields check-in and check-out time are duplicated now: one single edit field and one hour select drop down. (5) Some of the featured images selections disappeared.

1. That is the way our theme is designed.
2. Again this is a feature of our theme. We have still implemented the admin approval feature, but will do in the future.
3. You can easily adjust css to reduce that big space.
4. Please go to Theme options -> Accommodations -> and delete the extra check in, check out fields and click Save.
5. This has not been reported by anyone else. We did not modify post data in any way with any upgrade.

WPML Hi team, I have one other question: I register my account as subscriber from BYT front end. I see that I can add new accomodation but I cant’ find the option to translate my accomodation. Is there something that I must set (as user or as admin)?
Federico PS_ WMPL is installed, active, last version and custom type translation is active for accomodations, rooms, etc…
Translation is for now only possible from admin.
Hi, Can you please help resolve the below issues:
1. Problem with the calendar which appears on clicking Select Dates button on the accommodation page – Let’s say I choose checkin date as 1 mar and checkout as 3 mar. The I suddenly decide to choose 4 mar as checkin and 5 mar as checkout. By doing this it will show 1-3 mar as not available.
2. When I try and book an accommodation using the booking form, property’s photos appear below the form for no reason.
3. List view is not working on search results page.

4. Also just noticed that if an accomodation is booked for, say, checkin on 4 and checkout on 5 mar then the booking calendar does not allow me to pick 5 mar as a checkin date.
5. When I search with certain dates, the search results show me apartments that have no availability
1. If you select start date as 4 mar, then 1 – 3 will be unavailable because you are needing to select an end date. Once you select an end date of 5 mar, you can then click Reset button and 1-3 will become available again. It’s just logical.
2. We will release a patch for this, it was caused by latest lightSlider upgrade. In the mean time please open js/accommodations.js and change all occurences of csSlideOuter to lSSlideOuter (search for the word).
Please do the same for js/tours.js, js/cruises.js and js/car_rentals.js.
3. What exactly is not working with list view? Please provide a screenshot or url.
4. Another user has reported this. We will investigate and fix.
5. You can hide unavailable accommodations by going to Theme options -> Search settings and making sure “Search only available properties” option is checked. Don’t forget to Save options after that.

Hi there! Glad to see that the update improved a few things but also broke (at least for now) some others:
- Custom search results pages doesn’t work as expected, it does not show any logic result, no filters… nihouse.facileingenioso.com/buscar
- We had custom code to show shortcodes on widgets and that also stopped working (if we use previously custom functions.php on the child theme, it breaks the site)
- New feature to have the calendar on your availability tab is a wonderful addition to your theme. But once you choose your dates and go through to next step, the image gallery behaves weirdly (it keeps showing at the bottom of the page: http://nihouse.facileingenioso.com/alojamientos/hermosa-casa-en-nijar/
- Regarding that new calendar booking feature: is there an easy way to get the calendars in our language (spanish?). The old way to do that doesn’t seem to work anymore.
- Something changed in the way the theme worked with custom themes, despite having custom code for our blue theme (correctly set under child theme), it keeps showing some of the original images and backgrounds. We had no other way to fix that than replacing the original files.
- Another annoying thing: “excerpt” or introductory text for all widgets doesn’t follow any proper rule so it’s difficult to understand or gives an overall bad impression of the site. Words are cut sharply, no ”...” are added, is there a way to improve/fix that? It should add some ”...” and don’t cut any words…

I get a password field when I attempt to access it. You need to btw add a left sidebar to your custom search results page (in meta boxes when you edit the page you can select sidebar position).
Can you provide a screenshot of the excerpt that’s cut of for widgets?
Have you upgraded to v6.01 as it doesn’t appear you have all the fixes that we have implemented.

You will notice the issue with the text and excerpt once you get access to the site, it’s on every widget (latest accommodation, our destinations on the frontpage), introductory text are cut in the middle of the word…

What about getting the booking/availability calendars in the local language?
At the moment we don’t have a good solution for this. We will come up with something soon.
Not even a workaround to get it in other languages? It’s quite important when you have a multilanguage site…

I create some accomodations as admin and now I want to give to every owner the possibility to manage its accomodation. So I have created account for every owner but I dont’ know which role I have to assign to the news users (I have: Subscriber, BYT Frontend Submission, Shop Manager, Customer, Contributor, Author, Editor). The problem is that if I set Subscriber or BYT Frontend the user can not manage its accomodation while if I set upper role (Shop Manager or Contributor…) the user can manage and see all accomodation, vacancies, etc… with the upper native menù bar of wordpress that present general menù for configuration Can you tell me the right way to solve this problem? Hi again, I do as you suggest but the problem remain with one more: - In the Author box I can only see admin and one BYT FS user (and not the other) - In the admin panel of the BYT FE user the admin menù disappear. So I cant’ manage the accomodations

Dear guys .. clients that made bookings, why the client can NOT MAKE on ” My Account “
1. Changes of their bookings 2. Cancellation of their bookings 3. Opportunity to book the same hotel again 4. Make new bookings which will automatically use client deatails
As far i can see clients can ” only ” view their bookings , is that correct, if yes will you guys add the ability to that allow client to make changes and/or cancellations of their existing bookings ?

Hi there, Maybe you could introduce filtering of accommodation and other custom posts pages with either tags or location or even accommodation types. Would that be possible?

Maybe just use dates to create vacancies or blocked or not available , and then maybe from drop down separate list to make several seasons (hi,lo,whatever) create them and add prices for seasons and prices. Something like that. Not sure how possible it is.. 6. Also how easy would it be to add calendar to the accomodations page as well as prices, seasons etc…

1. We have already provided filters for accommodation list page, including accommodation type and tags.
2. We will think about this as it’s a good suggestion.
3. You are referring to the map with pin points to each accommodation? We are planning to do this soon.
4. We will think about this one, though it’s not a high priority.
5. You can already create separate seasons using the current interface for vacancies. Select a date from and a date to, and a season name and price and submit. Then create another one for the same accommodation and room type (if hotel) and submit. You will then have 2 seasonal vacancies for the same accommodation.
Or did I not understand you?

Regarding the filtering option, I was thinking more like filtering like when you have a portfolio list for example in a grid All-Graphcs-Illustration-Photos that type and when you click the rest are hidden below and the realign, so we could use, location or type to show..I hope I make more sense this time. for some reason I cannot paste at the moment a link in here..This si something that VS does, not sure if possible at the moment. but would make a lot of sense.
2.I know seasons can be introduced and thats great, I was just thinking how to make it somehow easier if one has 200 properties then it make become little difficult to view. But I am sure trough time we will find a way to make it even better

Also maybe default location page without selected category can show only main parent categories, else moutain, exotic, countries , towns and discticts will all be shown together.. does this make sense? 4. Also if possible in a dropdown list on search result page if we could have Locations and their children maybe indented with – rather then one long list? so it would look like this.. 1. Aha so you are talking about front-end filtering for lists and stuff, not backend.
2. Yep, however, for 200 or 1 properties, there still needs to be a system in place for date ranges. But you are right, things will filter down to something best-usable as more people give suggestions. You are suggestions are certainly appreciated.
3. Yep, we already added this to our tickets to figure out the best way to do this. Perhaps Treat as Hierarchical flag or something will fix this issue.

The submit button is not the same as the one that you have on your demo.
There is not a send button, only submit without any color.
I checked the images but nothing missing. So I am not sure where the problem is.

Readd your code changes to the php and js files by using a text editor. And finally 9. Turn off maintenance mode. 10. Go to Theme options -> Upgrade tab and click the Upgrade database button.

I have replied to you. You need to translate things carefully. First enable translations for one language. Then do the same for next. You say it works for a language but doesn’t for another. I saw in your WP that some of the translations are all over the place. For example, there are multiple instances of the Accommodation type appartments, and it is is unclear what is a translation of what.
hi, I really do not get it, same thing with tours and in types are original strings, did not touch anything there but have same problem. Do you maybe have an idea what it could be?
And if in WPLM I choose : Translate using .mo files. It works normally? That prat troubles me the most?

The theme is already integrated with WooCommerce for payment processing. As for the product vendor, I don’t understand what you mean. PayPal split payment (if you mean to property owner vs admin) we won’t be implementing.

I’ve posted before about the following problem: the “tabs” on the accommodation page are not translated. I have translated everything in the .po/.mo files as well as through WPML string translation. But when switching to another language, the “tabs” (Description, Facilities, Location, etc.) are still showing up in English.
Unfortunately, it’s not fixed in the 6.00 release…

This should be available in a future upgrade from our theme. Right now you have to look for a WordPress plugin that lets you change ownership of a custom post type.

Please replace it with lSSlideOuter (there are 2 places).
Please do the same in js/tours.js, js/cruises.js and js/car_rentals.js. We will do the same in our code and release a patch.

Btw, you need to go to your theme settings and make sure your location permalinks are set correctly, and then go to Settings -> Permalinks and click Save to flush your permalinks to prevent the 404 error on single location view.
