Excuse me for making you wait, please no the that we work Monday through Friday. As to the slider – you can create one using either Layer slider or a Revolution slider. Then to add it to your home page you should use a Slider shortcode. You will be able to choose between two plugins and select a slider there.

As to backgrounds – these images are added as section backgrounds. When you add any shortocde in a Visual Composer, you will see that it is wrapped in a section. You should hover on the section in your admin and click a little pencil icon to edit section options. There you will be able to select a section background image ans apply the needed settings to it.

As to the menu – not sure what exactly you mean, could you please be more specific?

Hi again. We have tested the theme comparing to other popular themes with a similar amount of functionality, it performs as an average theme of this class does. Just please make sure you are not using larger images than you need and that all the unused plugins are disabled. Also many customers choose to enable caching on your server, it improves website usage experience. In fact there is not much more that can be done regarding this. Appreciate your understanding.

As to your question – in fact there is no option for this. The theme is responsive, and it should look well on mobile devices, as it resizes and rearranges the blocks depending on device resolution. Appreciate your understanding.

Right now we are working on a theme update with some maintenance, and it will include some IE 9 appearance improvement (to an extent this browser is capable of). And as to IE8 – in fact this browser version is really out of date, and it supports very few of the recent technologies. Also, an amount users is that use this version of Internet Explorer is close to zero (and will even decrease with a release of Windows 10). Assuming all this we do not have any plans to review theme performance for Internet Explorer 8. Appreciate your understanding. Appreciate your understanding.

You need to set a Primary Navigation in Appearance Menus, and the plugins can be activated from your admin panel. There should be a notice in your dashboard requesting to install the plugins.

As to your question – you can easily see microformats in the theme using the checker for this. Most of that can be seen on the blog page, as this is where actual articles are – please see sample in a checker. As well if you wish to have some custom html in your header top line, you can add the needed classes there too (as this is custom html). If you need a sample for that, let us know. Also for your custom html parts you can use this generator to get the needed markup – http://microformats.org/code

All the other website elements already have structured data.

1) This event page is created as a timeline blog page, and it displays specific blog posts that are assigned to a Events category. There is no specific post type in this theme. You might want to take a look at the Social Activity theme i our portfolio, it has Events Calendar compatibility and styles. Ifs admin panel is just as powerful as admin of GoodDay theme with all the customization options. You can edit it appearance easily with theme settings.
