Don’t worry, your answer was complete and correct. What I was doing was to add a background photo to each page as a page not a slider group. Once I added a slider group as you suggested, we were able to display sliders on each page. Thanks for all your help!

Hi, to create page with slider background, you need to create slider item and set group name. Once you done you can open page or post that you want to use slider then look for ‘Slider Page Background’ below of editor.

Hi, Try to remove blank paragraph within slider description <p> and </p>. also try to use plain text rather than html for slider description.

You can remove it by insert code below in custom css field:

By the way: The settings for the slider also don’t respond any more. I switched everything to ‘no’ in de the slider section except show pauze button and show progress bar…there ar no changes on the actual site when i switch them on and of (after I refresh). Any tips?

So far we rarely got reports regarding website speed issue. It’s depend on video and images that you used.

Yes, so apparently the first thread did not go through, cause I can see the last one… So, my problem concerns the background image – sometimes it turns all pixelated and shows black and white lines – like a broken TV screen… When I switch to another theme, everything works fine and in google chrome it looks ok too.

I don’t think it is due to incompatibilities with other plugins, cause I currently don’t have many installed and when I turn them off, the problem persists.

In the current version, I applied some additional code to the functions file to turn the menu into an accordeon. First I thought this could be the issue, but when I reupload the original theme with the regular menu I encounter the same issues !

1) You can create background overlay for sidebar by navigate to Appearance > DE Panel > Styler > Custom CSS > insert code below:

.sidebar{ 
     background:rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
}

2) To adjust transparent background for content, insert code in custom CSS field:

#content{
background:rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
padding:20px;
}

You can replace rgb color (0,0,0) on code above with another color. You can generate rgb color here http://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.htm.

For value 0.5 above is opacity you can change it with value between 0 – 1

Sorry I didn’t make it clear enough – I can’t make any word a hyperlink. I click on the link symbol but the popup to add a link will not work. I’m running Photogra 1.5.1 and WP 4.1. I have to add links in Text editor with some html, I can’t use the add link function in visual editor. Please let me know if this is clearer.

Hi, please check your portfolio text. Try to remove all blank paragaph <p> and </p> from slider description. On WordPress editor try to edit text for slider on ‘text’ mode.
