I think that Osmosis is a wonderful looking presentation and I am most likely going to purchase it.
However, when I click on Live Preview, the demo takes quite a bit of time to load. Also, a web designer friend said that the Live Preview would not load at all.
How do these loading problems issue related to the loading of the actual theme?

This has probably to do with the switcher bar. In general, you need to close this bar when you intend to test any theme. So, please use the direct links of Osmosis’ Demos – http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis/ , http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis-corporate/ , http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis-blog/ , http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis-interior/ , http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis-photography/ , http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis-one-page/ to check the load speed. Additionally, you can use any of the well-known website speed test pages to measure the whole performance. Last but not least, notice that we don’t use any cache plugin because we really prefer our potentials customers to test Osmosis as it is.

2. Unfortunately, we cannot add demos for every single plugin we insert. Just to have an idea, Calendar has taken two out of three single post styles offered by Osmosis.

Incredible theme getting even better with each version. But aside from that, their customer support is just amazing. Quick and direct answering your issues. Super pleased with the latest update that includes Event Calendar support.
The only issue that jumps out at me right off the bat is that when using the “Osmosis” event style for single events the title/date of the event vanishes.
I would have assumed that, when using this style, the title/date would have been placed in the title bar area but it doesn’t. Is it supposed to?

Three pre-purchase questions:
1) Hello…a couple of weeks ago I had asked if you could implement single column portfolio display (similar to how your blog articles display images in full size). You had mentioned that it could be considered for future updates but couldn’t offer a guarantee or timeframe.
Anyway…since I’m in a rush to get started on my website and would like to use Osmosis as my future theme….I was wondering if the following workaround would work:
I notice in your demo, the “one page” portfolio style has a single column large image of a tablet at the very bottom of the page. So apparently there is single column image support?
And if that’s the case, can I mix features from the other portfolio types? For example…I want the single column image option, but like the accordion tabs shown in the “one page” portfolio style. I would also like to use the “recent entries” feature shown in the “card mockup” portfolio style. Can all of these be combined? 2) How does Osmosis handle retina display imagery? Just upload images @ double size and the theme takes care of everything?
3) Is it possible to upload separate images for smaller portfolio images (thumbnails) from the actual larger images they open up as? I’m not a fan of auto-cropping and prefer to control the look of the cropped images.

1) As was stated, we considered your interest in one-column portfolio in overview, which we’ll add for sure in the coming updates as promised. If you now consider one-column media in the single portfolio item as sth that works for you as well, then even better, since this has always been functional in Osmosis. You could indeed save some time.
2) Exactly. In addition, with Osmosis you can deactivate Retina option or select Retina in cases you are prompted by the theme (e.g., logos, box elements with images…). http://prntscr.com/6fc4i7
3) Overviews in portfolio use only the featured image sb has added in the single item. This image “plays” in the thumbnail as well as in the lightbox modal. Thank you kindly for your replies…I greatly appreciate it. I usually like to figure themes out on my own, but just like to make sure I know what I’m getting before committing to a theme. Just one last thing…I’m not sure I understand your reply to question #1. Are you saying I can achieve a layout like shown in my screenshot using the existing portfolio display options? Thank you in advance. Can’t wait to try out the theme soon.
In the single portfolio item everything is open so that you make a single portfolio like a simple page just by adding any element you choose. Hope it is clear enough now. Thanks!

1. Generally yes, but you cannot see full width mode in frontend as full width due to java script reasons.
2. We have not relied upon grid composer, but we can guide sb through it.
3. Has never been a concern for us, so we have not tested it.

6. Yes, you can or you may exclude categories.

Fantastic!!! I have another question before I buy: I read in the updates that you have integrated with a section Events calendar, but in the demo I can not see it. I got it wrong? I would need a section to handle events off the blog: is it possible?
You’re right! Osmosis (from its latest version) supports the Events Calendar, both free and pro versions. We simply don’t demonstrate all the supported plugins on our demos. So, it’s possible to use anything that Events Calendar offers with the Osmosis’s style, of course. Thank you!

PHP 5.2 end of life was 4 years ago. You can read the unsupported branches here: http://php.net/eol.php. WordPress also recommends PHP version greater than 5.4. If you are not able to update PHP or you want to keep this old version, please open a ticket in our support forum.

Hello…first off let me say great job on Osmosis. It’s rare that I find a theme where I don’t find a half dozen bugs in the first 5 minutes of viewing.
I’m an inch away from purchasing the theme, but wanted to verify a few things beforehand. If you wouldn’t mind answering the following questions for me. I just like to be thorough before committing. Thank you in advance.
1. Can elements from any of the Osmosis’s 5 templates be used interchangeably?
2. I have a preference of not having page titles displaying at the top of pages. I figure the visitor of the site knows what page their on based on the menu item they clicked. Is there a way to prevent them from showing? So for example, in the main demo, when you visit the blog or portfolio for example, the top of the page loads with the page title over a block of color. I would like to prevent that from appearing at all. I think it’s called a “custom feature title” in your demo examples. I realize I could probably just hide it with some css, but it’s my understanding that hiding things like page titles is frowned upon by search engines. I’d appreciate your input.
3. On the main portfolio page where you display all portfolio projects together, is it possible to display portfolio items in single column? All I see is 2 column options and higher?
4. And for single portfolio posts, is it possible to display images in full width with the “project details” text below all of the images? I’m not seeing any option for this in the demos. I like my portfolio images to show in full width.
5. I notice some of the Osmosis templates don’t have shops. I’m assuming a shop can be added to any of the demo styles, but what about styling? So for example if I add a shop to the “osmosis-blog” template, will it adapt to the styling of the theme…and if not, is there a way I can see beforehand what styling it would have?
6. Is it possible to disable that image enlarging feature that happens when a photo thumbnail or custom feature slider image is hovered over with the mouse?
7. Is it possible to disable the left and right grey arrows that appear in tablet and phone viewing? I think they’re a good idea, but I’m not a fan of how they overlap the viewing area. Would probably be better if they were smaller and further off the screen.
8. Do you know if Osmosis plays well with All-In-One-Seo plugin? It’s what I have setup with my current site…and I’d like to continue using it.

Thank you for your comments. We absolutely understand that you want to be as thorough as possible before proceeding with your purchase and we look forward to eliminating that inch still separating you from Osmosis 
1. Osmosis is by all means customizable; hence, you can use elements interchangeably. We showcase this customizability through separate but mixable templates.
2. No worries. You can definitely hide titles or alter them without any code skills. These are are all options of the Osmosis Framework.
3. At the moment, one-column display in portfolio is not included, but we’ve already noted down your suggestion for future updates. It can be built like the small media blog.
4. Again: Osmosis customizability renders this display possible just by combining all elements at your disposal in a common page.
5. Woo plays in all demos. We preferred to have it installed only in the main demo.
6. Disable is very easy to do.
7. Easy to do through CSS for those who choose so.
8. Up till now, there have been no issues of compatibility in the tests we conducted with All-In-One-Seo plugin.
