Hello. I am really liking this theme, but I have some problems with the slider. Even when I assign it a category that has content, it appears empty and has no slider functionality. Do you have any insight?

Hello, sorry for the delay. Yes we are indeed using VC. The loading time depends on how much imagery and/or the size of the images that you are using in the site mainly. If you have a page full of images and such its gonna so slower. You can check out the demo for speed 
FYI. I am getting a 404 when I try to visit you demo. Other themes on this site are working.
You must have been doing an update or something. All your themes were down, but are now back.

Attention with the demo data import you’ll also a user “admin” which will overwrite your admin account (so you need to change the pw or mailadress to request a pw reset via sql database

okay thanks but is it possible to dissalow the contributors to submit active news? ^^ i dont want that all are able to create news 
– when it’s not possible then i need to declare the “team admins” myself

hey, having some issues. im using Wordpress 4.1.1
If i use this method : Appearance -> Add New Themes -> Upload i get the following :
Caption says : Wordpress Failure Notice
then a box on the screen :

Manually copying the files via FTP and activating the theme results in just a white page and i cant access the admin area anymore. i have to delete the theme to reset it to a stock theme to get it working again.
