Hello, you can set up everything just as in the live theme demo in no time (following the steps of the included theme documentation), and you can customize all of the advertised basic stuff through your wordpress admin area in a handy theme options panel.

how much you charge to set up the site just like your own demo? After reading najma problems i don’t think i can get it done by myself.

Three questions -
1 – When I add a custom section, it doesn’t display. I added a custom section to [link removed per author request] at the bottom, just to test it. You’ll see that it’s not displaying properly. Can you please let me know why?
2 – How can you add HTML content to a Custom Section? I only see options to choose the background color or image.
3 – How can I remove the start/stop link that is displaying just under the slider on the left side?
I emailed you my login/ftp info for another inquiry that I’ve resolved on my own. Feel free to use that info if you need to see what’s going on to resolve these questions. Thanks!
1.) To use the “Custom Section”, you need to create a new page first with the proper page template Dashboard > Pages > Add New … Next, go to theme options to create a new home section at Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Home Sections
2.) You can add your html content at Dashboard > Pages > Custom Page .. (after you created a page for it (look step 1. above)
3.) Add this to your style.css file:#slider-stopper { display: none; }

Hi, I was curious with this template, can I change the name of the headers/ tabs. For example, for the “Choose a Chapter” preview, could I change the text here to something like “Choose a section?” I want to confirm it is fully customizable before purchasing. Thank you!

HI Erik, I’ve having fun learning all about this. Beautiful, effective theme. Thank you for answering all the users questions. So many! My question is: I’ve embedded the Super Slim contact form from MailChimp. Works great. Except I’d like to use the Classic signup form because it asks for First & Last names and that helps emails dodge spam filters when tagged. When I cut/pasted that link, the Flatbook form didn’t change to include the two new fields. Thoughts?

The problem is that you were trying to add the custom mailchimp input fields into the flatbook subscribe form directly. For simplicity purposes in mind, the “Mailchimp unique link” field in the theme options panel only accepts super slim form generated links to avoid complications.
To handle this issue, i would suggest to create your mailchimp subscribe form just as it is in the documentation (using super slim form etc.), and create an individual page, where the rest of your additional extra fields take place…
So basically, the subscription will look like this: 1.) user enters email address and hit the “subscribe now” button 2.) after validation, the user will be redirected to another (mailchimp generated) page, where asked to add a few more details (first & last name fields in your case)

The custom post menu items aren’t appearing in my Wordpress menu. This seems to happen after I changed to using a child theme. I know in a previous message that you’re not a big fan of using child themes. However, at least right now, I’d like to stick w/the child theme, as my product is tax related and it’s peak tax season, so I don’t want to risk screwing anything up right now Please advise on what I can do to get the custom posts to show. Hi Erik, I have a question.
1. I have a client that is interested in having 4 images and each image is the entire width of the slider’s width. I was not able to do that in this theme. Is that possible to do? If not, I was planning to try another slider via plugin. Would this theme support a slider plugin?
Hi Erik, it looks like my question got cut off from above. I want to see if I can make the images for the slide stretch the entire width of the slider area so that for each slide, my image takes the entire slider area.
also, is it possible to use a slider plugin and have it as slider alternative?
I’m afraid that’s not possible yet, flatbook uses a custom developed carousel for the most easy user experience.
Regarding plugins, i can’t provide support for third party plugins, however personally i think if you have some basic experience in development, you should give it a try to implement one in the theme. Cheers, Erik

No, you don’t need any experience with coding in a basic level of customization (you can do it from your wordpress admin dashboard) and you don’t need any additional third party plugins (instead of the included ones with the theme) to achieve the same layout as in the live theme demo.
If you go through the included documentation carefully step-by-step in order, i’m pretty sure that you will be able to install, set up and customize your site properly.

Is it possible to add commas or dollar signs to the counter numbers?
I found the previous thread comments about the ’$’ sign so I’ll get to work on those, but what about adding commas so the numbers display as $40,000 instead of $40000

I did some research in the options of the counter plugin, and found that $40.000 would be possible without messing up the scripts – i mean a dot character is possible instead of the comma as requested.

Sorry for the late answer, i noticed that you have already found a solution for featuring the social network icons in a right tab plugin.
If you still would like to duplicate the footer social icons into the header, you can find the proper commented code in your footer.php file (you can just copy-paste it) – however it may can cause some alignment issues in the header – so i think you should stick with the plugin if you find it handy.

Sorry for the late reply, i just checked your site and i see only two different slides rotating at the moment, what functions just fine as expected..
Maybe your first slider image (the pie chart graphic) is larger than the optional image size recommended in the docs (450×460px) for images in the slider, but i guess you did it with purpose, right?
