Thanks but unfortunately, it does not work. It does not display a sidebar on the page. Instead, it gives me the same result that the other user mentioned – it just expands the width of the page all the way to the left and right edges.
Hi, Sorry but that’s still not working for me. I made the changes exactly as described to the two files and I added an “includes” folder to the child theme. I put the two revised files in the “includes” folder so that the structure stays the same. I still do not see a sidebar on any of my single posts. We have 810 single posts so there is no way for us to manually change each one. Please advise. Thanks.
OK, even more simple, replace your child theme functions.php file with this one (link below) and remove the child theme “includes” folder (forget about the above)

I tried changing Home Header settings to Video Background or other options (it is by default in RevSlider) but unfortunately, every time I save the new settings, it is not allowing us to change it other settings. It is reverting back to the default settings.
I have notice that as well on the other Decibel option settings.
Another question is, how can we use a youtube video on the header slider. Currently, we don’t want to host videos on our server, we would like to upload videos from youtube and use youtube link or embed in the template.

Maybe something wen’t wrong during the download.. I suggest to re-download the theme package on themeforest http://docs.wpwolf.com/documentation/themes/decibel/#installIf the automatic installation doesn’t work for you for some reason, you can install the plugin the regular way using the admin plugin panel. You will find the plugin zip files in the includes/admin/plugins folder

There is no issue with maintenance page feature. Pls note that the visitor is redirected to the maintenance/coming soon page only if he’s not logged in.
An admin won’t be redirected to the maintenance/coming soon page.
You can set any page as maintenance page in the theme options -> general tab -> Maintenance page

Yes I understand that part however I checked on another system where I was not logged in and it was not working for me, the site was live and the maintenance page was set to coming soon, I then published some of the pages that were drafted and it was working again.

Great name for a music theme. I checked out your rather lovely documentation for Decibel and am just about sold on it but have a few questions:
1. Is the homepage header video slider HTML5 only or can you also have looped YouTube, Vimeo and/or others?
2. Are images inserted into posts/pages via standard Insert Media (Image collections and/or Gallery inserts) styled with as much beauty as the special photo post type? I have a whole heap of existing posts with images attached as groups and galleries and really really trying to avoid having to re-edit the posts to make them look nice!
3. Can you tell me how the Sharing icons and Gravatar are managed? Is it configurable so I can add others or even compatible with Jetpack > Sharing and/or Jetpack > Publicize?
Sorry for so many pre-flight questions, but I keep buying themes only to find that they work really well if you are building a site from scratch, but not so good at playing / displaying nicely with existing content.

2. The gallery feature is very flexible, you can display a gallery anywhere, eg http://decibel.wpwolf.com/master/image-galleries/3. Gravatar is managed with the default wordpress behavior.
The sharing icons are part of the theme and haven’t be developped with jetpack. Not all available social network are shown in the demo. You got 8 sharing icons available with the theme: twitter, facebook, pinterest, google+, tumblr, stumbleupon, linkedin and email

Moved “up” from Music Pro to Decibel. It took a little while to get the hang of Decibel..And there are a few small option details I would like to have changed, or have added. But all in all a great theme and I really like and can definately recommend Decibel theme.
WP Wolf (Author) also have a great pretty quick respons helpdesk if you need it. So if you need a good theme for your band..Sure. This is a good choice.

Wow, indeed! It seems that the demo content as been imported weirdly..
First thing you can do is re-arrange your menu in the menu admin panel, and import the revslider data (import the slider1.zip file via the revslider panel)

Hello again,
I was having trouble getting the ‘wolf tweet’ short code to work, and then realized that even though this feature is included in the ‘live demo’, it apparently requires a ‘wolf tweet’ plugin, that did not come with the theme download.
Was this plugin meant to be included? Even the demo data for the theme makes calls to this shortcode, and it of course doesn’t work.

Yes, you can display past and future shows on different pages, or future and past show on the same page.
You can’t filter the show by year by default, but you can use the “artist” category to sort the show by year.
e.g[wolf_tour_dates artist="2015"]
