viralskate why would you want to use the images from the demo? This theme can look as good as you want it to look. I have never customized a theme in my life before this and have no coding experience but im extremely happy with the results so far.

We’re working hard to make this theme better and easier to understand And I agree. Including a lot of demo images in the demo content would also make the media library a huge mess.
I’d like a refund. This is not what I imagined. This has been such a complicated, stressful process and the end product doesn’t look anything like the advertised site also If I knew images werent included I would not have purchased. Please refund my order so I can move forward with my website.

The images on the demo site is copyrighted. It’s also described in the item description that they are not included.

How can I make the background of a row OR background in a solid color instead of an image?
Try add a “Section” around the row. it will make it possible to add a color or a background to your content. Do you use the page builder?
Don’t use the page builder. By adding a section, what shortcode do I use for the solid color?

Regarding this Convo… clearly he has 6 articles listed for his blog… so, why are we only showing 2 articles as described… I am facing the same issue today.

seems to me that if there code reads 3 columns and 3 posts that it should display the 3 articles without issue…. tried that but it still only shows 2 of the 3 blog posts… I also tried the default 6 articles and 3 columns… this did not work either.
Ok, I figured it out. The problem was that I had only 3 articles published…. once I added a forth article the 3 post began to show in the block…. we can close this one.

I think i’ve got mobile view sorted but tablet view am experiencing a few view problems. I want to keep the grid banner for the tablet users, the trouble am having is each grid section is cropped slightly with the width, height wise is perfect its just the width. I’ve tried to alter the tablet_height but that doesn’t seem to do anything. Any ideas? Is this going to have to be a CSS fix.
Also the sliders don’t load the background image is that meant to do that as standard?

Yes, you can set an image there in Theme Options

No, only global in Theme Option. You need to use CSS to do it custom for different pages.
Okay, that would be a great feature to have as many other themes we’ve purchased from ThemeForest allow you to set global and then override on certain pages or posts if you want to.
What css is needed on your theme to allow this?

Also, is it possible to replace the ‘hamburger’ with an icon of same size that says ‘menu’ as more than 80% of people in usability workshops say they do not know what the three-lined hamburger menu icon is, but the same users who see small icon that says ‘menu’ know that’s what they need to click on to see the menu. Hi there, we have actually thought about it We’ll make an option to have ‘menu’ beside the icon in a future version of the theme
Firstly, this theme is great. I bought it mainly for its vast customization ability and did not really get into the nitty gritty details. However, I’m not sure if I’m the only one having these problems.
No matter how responsive they claim this theme is.. it was rather disappointing while test browsing on my smartphone with this theme (while setting up my website).
No.1: Size is fix. meaning you can’t zoom in or out. Is a good or bad thing
No.2 The images for the product was rather small (i suspect they use the thumbnail size), you can’t really see the products clearly, and sadly you CAN’T click on it to view a larger image!!! Especially crucial when you are in the product’s page.
No.3: When you are in the product page, the 1st image of your product is 1/4 covered by the ‘new’ or ‘sale’ bubble (if you have it labeled)! Because of clause no.2 above, it is very annoying for consumer! You just have no way to see that picture clearly! and all the other pictures in the gallery…
No.4: I included a size chart image in the tab section and realized that you can only click on it to view a larger image if it is a .png file! .jpeg file won’t work! The pain here is, when I used the .png version, when I click to enlarge it… I can’t see the size chart clearly also due to its transparent background, I’ll see a cross over image of the enlarge size chart + the original at the background!
No.5: On your landing page, the stars for the review has an overlapping image! (you will see a row of double stars…..)
I emailed to the UX team about this issues, however has not heard back from them yet. I sincerely hope that UX team can fix these issues, they are not that big of an issue but it really make the e-commerce site suck!
This theme no doubt is a great, and very customizable theme (that’s why I bought), but with these tiny issues, it makes it kinda suck ~ how can you claim it is responsive/mobile friendly when you can’t even have a pleasurable browsing experience on a platform that it claims to be compatible?
*I tried it on my smartphone, windows OS with IE11, 6inch screen.

Try delete the ‘woocommerce’ folder from the Flatsome folder, and then re-upload it from the new zip file. You have some old files in your woocommerce folder that needs to be replaced.
