Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to change the colours of the menu options to other colours other than the 4 sample colours? As I would need them to match the company logo etc. Thanks

hi..
how can i create a completely custom home page for my website without using any of your theme elements like header, footer etc.
Rest of the pages will still use the theme design, but i want the home to be completely custom.

Hi there,
For something like that you will first of all need to use the child theme that comes in the main zip package.
Second you would need to create a brand new page template – something like page-hpcustom.php
Then you would need to remove the header and footer calls from it.
Take a look at one of the existing page templates in the parent theme as a guide.
Then you would need to create a new page in WordPress and assign your custom page template to it.
This is a good bit beyond theme support as it’s quite a custom request so if you’re not 100% familiar with how to do something like this I would recommend hiring a freelancer to do it for you.

Cool !! The website is still very slow… extremely slow !! i really think you should look at the analysis on tools.pingdom.com. It mainly seems to because of css rendering. Please let me know if something can be done. Its a serious issue for an ecommerce theme.
Other friends of mine who use wordpress and woocommerce say the site is not supposed to be this slow. I went against their advice to purchase a theme. Please don’t prove me wrong.

First of all – don’t worry it’s not the theme We have over 1,000 customers running Adrenalin and the theme is very well optimized for speed. (our pingdom speed test score for our demo site – http://adrenalindemo.commercegurus.com/ is 90/100 )
The theme itself is incredibly fast and has been benchmarked to be as fast as all the leading WordPress themes.
It is most likely a combination of the following: - Slow web host – this is a very common issue for people running WooCommerce on shared or low powered web hosting providers.
- Too many plugins – some web hosts struggle when you have too many plugins installed. For example, if you use GoDaddy, try disabling the Envato WordPress toolkit. GoDaddy’s network setup means that plugin slows down sites on GoDaddy. The plugin itself is fine – it’s a GoDaddy issue. Question, i have a menu with 8 items. When scaling the page down it doesn’t switch to the responsive menu. And because of that i can’t scroll through the collapsing menu items.

You simply have too many top level menu items. It might be possible to tweak the nav bar to allow one more to appear there – but not 2.

If you talking about the sorting of your categories on the left hand side widget, this is nothing to do with the theme – that comes from WooCommerce itself so you’ll need to check in with the fine folks over in the WooCommerce support forums and they will be able to help you with WooCommerce functionality queries.

The currency switcher is part of WPML which is a commercial plugin – so we can’t bundle it. You can get a licence from www.wpml.org
We’ve been approved by WPML as a compatible theme, we even created a 6 part Youtube tutorial on setting it up with Adrenalin

I want to ask, what is the size image that I need for the front page items, and subcategory items, and for the product items. Is there anyway to change these sizes to 300×300? Like a square product? Thank you

You can indeed change them to square. The sizes are set in WooCommerce > Settings > Product – ‘Display’
You can change the width and height in there.
Run the ‘regenerate thumbnails’ plugin to redo any existing images to the new size.

The theme is extremely intuitive to use, and with the help of visual composer it’s just a dream to content manage. I’ve built many wordpress sites over the years, and the backend of this theme has been far more simple and easy to use than anything I’ve used before, without compromising the feel of the front end.
I am an awkward customer, and decided from the off to completely change the colour pallets of the site to a ‘darker’ feel. There isn’t yet full control in the theme options to change all of the text used in WooCommerce pages to a lighter colour, but the guys have been overly supportive in helping me tweak the theme to work fantastically. The only piece of criticism I have would be for there to be a toggle in theme options to change from light to dark mode, and I’m fairly sure they’re working on it.
So yeah, fantastic theme, outstanding support, all in all you can’t wrong!

- The logo is designed for 2x retina screens so you need to upload one twice as large as the header height. So if your header is 80px make the logo 160px in height. It’ll look good then
- Those are ‘Announcements’ – you can remove them in Theme Options > Product Listings

I’m still having trouble importing the corporate slider. I followed video but when I open “Adrenalin” files there is no “Demo Data” file folder to open and there sin’t any “Documentation” “Licensing” or “ThemeInstall”. So I opened the zip and have access to all other files opened up in zip like “Admin” but none of these contain the Demo Data File as shown in the video. Am I doing something wrong or the files folders aren’t there? Thanks and I’m sorry to bother you.

When downloading from ThemeForest make sure you’re grabbing the ‘all files and documentation’ version. There’s a LayerSlider folder in that with the demo sliders.

For that kind of customization you’d need to modify the markup within the header.php file yourself, preferably using a child theme. You could also get a quote on somewhere like elance.com and get a developer to do it for you.

Hi,
I added social icons to the top right bar widget. The icons disappear as the screen size shrinks instead of stacking underneath the left top bar widget. Here are two examples: restoretohealth.us and drbobspinalrehab.com.
Also, the logo on restoretohealth.us shrinks to the point where it’s unreadable on smaller screen sizes.

Re top right widget area – this is by design. As per the docs, we recommend you add things like quicklinks to this widget area which then gets hidden on smaller devices and replaced with the mobile search widget area.

How can you get the announcements to work in Firefox? They work on my website at http://pecosflavorswinery.com/wpdocs/ in Chrome, but not Firefox.
The top line that says Welcome to our Website displays the search bar in Firefox, and a menu in Chrome as well.

Make sure you’re using the most up to date version of Firefox and disable any browser plugins you’re using to rule out some local conflict.

I’m using a content-strip on my homepage with images.
But when scaling the website down to for a example mobile view the contentstrip scales down, but the images do not. So it’s cuts off the images on the sides.

Hello, I would like to Add Paypal to my payment options. On woocommerce, it says: “Gateway Disabled: PayPal does not support your store currency.” How do I enable this option?

I think you’ll need to get in touch with WooCommerce directly. It sounds like you can’t use Paypal with your currency in WooCommerce. This could be a Paypal or a WooCommerce issue – either way they will confirm this as it’s not related to the theme.
