Hello
I bought this theme and after install looked for documentation on how to set up the theme step-by-step and I found nothing. It is incredibly difficult to figure out how to set up this theme without any documentation and only a support forum, where we have to wait for ages for answers.
For example: I purchased the Uber theme and knew straight away how to set up the theme and how to use the visual editor. I have imported your demo data, but trying to copy this page with my own image, headings and text was impossible. I could not determine how to create a full background image with text on top of it:
http://javothemes.com/directory/demo3/Also, how do you expect us to understand the theme settings without any documentation or visual explanations of each setting. I have never encountered a theme this hard to set up. We really need you to step up here and provide setup documentation with visual explanations of all the different elements etc.
If you expect us to only use the forum to understand how to set up this theme then it will take an enormous amount of time to get a build finished.
A theme this complex needs documentation.

Yes there is an option to hide (disable) tabs. ex) you can disable event, ratings, reviews..) or you can even rename them. but you can’t put together.
Can you give me the link again about location? I can’t find. you can send me a screen shot via email ( javethemes@gmail.com) if it’s better for you.
Wide map : there is no option to replace sub-category.

i found that your theme is probably what i need. But can you provide test website that users can fully customize or try ?
I really dont whant to get my hands on code, and it feel like some things are not customizable. Did your support can provide help or not in this case ?

Thank you for the screenshot. however there is no option to replace or disable location part.
Unfortunately we don’t have a backend demo site. we don’t provide personal customization. it’s very hard to help everybody’s needs and make it. we only provide what we have now. if you need customize, you may need to hire someone in local or online.

What the point having custom field on items if you cant after that adapt your search form to them…

Unfortunately it’s not possible to add custom fields. it’s not also simple work to add custom fields to add search and filter. we have maps and it has to be all connected. there are too many issues to work on so many types to connect if we use custom fields.
Custom fields are for more additional information to show on single pages such as… working hours, some text or radio boxes..
This is the most common way to choose locations with wordpress taxonomies (category). we will see what we can do for so many locations in the future. we can only do like this at this moment for wordpress taxonomies.

Hi – if i activate paid membership pro plugin then site shows a blank page if i deactivate that then site runs but unable to post an ad when i open wp-admin for bangalorexpo then it show page not found
same error is shown on both operation (login,post an ad)

First of all, PMP plugin needs enough memory (at least 64MB). as far as I believe your server doesn’t have enough memory. our theme is an advanced theme which needs a lot of functionality or the 3rd part plugins. therefore you may need enough memory.
Support site login issue: Can you please send me an email ( javothemes@gmail.com ) with your purchase code? we will register yours and get you back. Did you add a correct themeforest username (Deepakeshwar)? it’s a common mistake our clients do.

Hi, I found two fatal errors for users and the companys or admins may not have control over users who have registered.
1. First error , all items are automatically passed as pending and are not automatically published.
2. Second error, although the membership plugin can act as a user registry for different levels, users can create unlimited items even if they are passed creating pending spam, no constraint to restrict users to continue publishing items, there is not a function to stop users can publish certain number of items.
All this is important because anyone can register his item without even not paying a fee. Finally I did a clean install to ensure these errors was not generating a wordpress plugin, thanks and hopefully can fix these errors as they are vital to us.

Is there any way you will implement map where all listings are in the grid below the map.
Now you have option in map (tab) to choose map or grid, but I dont see option to see map and list or grid below like in other popular directory themes.

Presales question…are map listings mobile friendly? Meaning, is there an easy way to click an icon and trigger a mapping/navigation app on your phone? I like your desktop rendering where a person and pick bike, bus or car…but for mobile they need to just click through one time and get their navigation going.
Two more presale questions. Is it easy enough to turn OFF geolocation or how does the theme handle the map if someone is out of the general area of all the listings? Also, when I click on a sample listing on the map, it pulls up a nice vcard listing with a photo. Will it be hard to have some custom CSS to eliminate all image placeholders? In this application it is for various repeating meetings in a local area and we don’t want images or any other real marketing fields. Just times, location and some individual content per each meeting. Thanks in advance. I currently am using another Directory theme that I am not very happy with and I have about 1500 listings. You theme looks well laid out.
Oops…once more question. I need to be able to sort by day of the week, 7 category locations/quadrants (i.e. like northwest, southwest, etc), and then a long list of other categories. Can there be sub-categories? I.e. Day of the Week would be the icon on the front page but then someone could also choose Monday or Tuesday or multiple days?
Dangit…sorry…another question….I do not see a search mechanism. I am sure there is but will it automatically include the listing title or would I need to add that as a keyword as well.

Yes it’s good to use them. you need to have a look at our demo sites. it might tell you more details. you can also test front-end form on our test server ( http://www.javothemes.com/directory-test/ ) : username : demo / pwd : demo
You don’t need to turn off geo-location. there is an option to on / off on the maps. If you want to have some custom css, there is a field for it. however we don’t assist customization. you may need to add these…classname { display:none;} if you don’t want to show images.
We don’t really have sort by day of the week. it’s not also available for the icons on days.
If you mean search by keywords, you need to add keywords on form. and it will be searched by keyword search form.
Please have a look at our demo before you purchase (I don’t want you to purchase a wrong theme ). some of your needs are not ready with our theme. if you need to customize, you may have to do by yourself.

Hi, I already purchased this theme but I wanted to know if I could do this if not I probably lost my money but anyways. I want to create 3 packages: 1 free, 1 standard, 1 premium. The standard and premium will be paid subscriptions with: 1. A specific amount of ads (Ex. standard package can post 10 ads) 2. A specific amount of images to upload (Ex. standard can only post 3 photos) 3. A specific amount of categories (Ex. standard can only post to 2 categories) and so on
I was wondering if this is possible with this theme.

Pre sale question: When someone searches a zip code can the search results be a list of nearest listings, instead of the map with pins? And will the list show the closest listing first, descending to further away listings?

When you search a zip code, it shows listings. but it’s not listed by nearest. it mostly orders by posted date.
