Hi!
I bought the theme and installed it through the WP admin section, by uploading the ZIP file. But when I activate the theme my site will show literally nothing. Even the live preview doesn’t work, and I don’t see any errors. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?

Is there a nicer way to force body to fill entire screen (meaning that in a browser the bottom social©right bar is at the very bottom of the browser when content occupies less than a whole height) than to add empty spaces? (like i had to do now in http://jordinabiosca.apps-1and1.net/contacta-2). I really went though documentation and i found how to do it about full width, but not full height (or entire screen or fill screen).
Specifically: I would need to force body to occupy the full screen of the browser / device. Is there an option for that.
Same thing happens in portfolio, when you choose a category with only a couple of posts to display, the copyright and socials bottom bar goes up showing the body background underneath until the end of the browser’s window. It is the case in: http://jordinabiosca.apps-1and1.net/espectacles and filter to “infantil”.
How could I get rid of this unfriendly effect? Do not hesitate to ask for more details if needed.

There was only one way to accomplish what you wanted. I logged in your website adm panel and fixed issue with Custom CSS. So if you don’t like it let me know.

Footer always visible exept for the main page doesn’t work as in small computer screenns such laptop would be opressing the content of the body. How could I add something like “minimun page height”? This would really work for me: to expand the bode to a certain minimum height when the content occupies less than that. Does this makes sense? The code snippet you are asking for is not that easy to get. I was trying to accomplish that long time ago but its really hard, because it requires too much mathematical calculations to maintain. So you should choose between the previous solution or nothing.. I’m sorry but sometimes its hard..

I managed to have a welcome start page with transparent fixed menu topbar wih fullscreen slider underneath which looks awesome, but I would need to make it static in other pages with text content in order to avoid text overlay. Is there a way to change the opacity of menu topbar when scrolling (and make it more opaque in order to avoid overlaying text content underneath)? Or, failing that, is there a way to set fixed menu bar only on the start page (or on some specific pages) in order to be able to set it as static on pages with scrolling text?
It would also work for me the option of static transparent menu bar to all pages with slider underneath on start page, if that would could be an option.

Thank you! I added it on Custom CSS on Customize but i didn’t manage to make it work. I deleted it becouse it was blocking the page to load on mobile devices. Any more help? Changing Fixed to Static on all pages except for Home page would work for me. Thank you again

You havn’t told me that you have modified HTML Markup in the theme, how can I guess that? Anyways, the following custom css should fix the issue:

Hello Duke, thank you for your reply. I am not a programmer, I am a designer and my knowledge of code is very limited. I am really trying to give you all the information I have in order to help you understand my question better/faster. But I actually don’t know what you mean by “modified HTML Markup”... I had arranged the margins on some pages using front-end editor. Also I had tried a plug-in to solve the topbar problem while waiting for your answer, but it did not work and i deleted already (maybe thats what you meant by “modified HTML Markup”?).
Anyway, I tried again to insert the code you gave me in the “Custom CSS” tab on the theme’s Customize panel but it did nothing after loading it. Maybe I am not applying it on the right place… Should it work by copying the code you attach underneath the “Custom CSS” of the Customize Panel? If not where exactly should I write it?

If you want to display only images on your blog page you can use normal posts, but you can achieve that with portfolio posts aswell. If you are going to create only one page for posts use blog posts, if you want multiple pages – use portfolio posts.

Thank you for explanation. The problem I have encountered with portfolio is following : I was trying to upload photos via automatic services like ifttt , but it works only with standard posts. Therefore, I was wondering whether I could make portfolios somehow to be read as normal posts or smth like that.
On the other hand, I thought – why not to make just normal posts, but then I paid attention to the fact, that they differ visually a bit from portfolios. (for example decoration triangle and perhaps something else) . As result I got confused whether I can make blog posts look visually the same as portfolios and/or maybe there is a way to solve problem first problem instead.

its little bit complicated. There is no “decorational triangle” on the blog posts but they have 90% the same options as portfolio posts. You may try to explore it. Or tell me exactctly what can I do to help you

1. You can create wp gallery from “Add Media” -> “Create Gallery” when you are editing post/page.
2. I cant understand that qustion. But if I got it right: Images on portfolio page will link to that image’s single post page. You can not link it to other page.

I’m working with the layout of the Saturn Demo. Because I love the way the portfolio looks. However, I would like to combine this thumbnail grid from the saturn portfolio with my own creativity using the Frontend editor (building extra blocks underneath the portfolio grid), is this possible?
When I change something in the Cufo Theme Customizer settings all the changes will be visible trough the whole website. Is it possible to change these settings for different pages alone? So that I can use different portfolio settings on several pages. I hope my explanation is clear enough!

Tim you have really great ideas to build that kind of fortfolio page, but currenty that can’t be achieved with those combinations. You can create multiple portfolio pages but with the same styling. I’m going to integrate grid builder in frontend editor soon, it is very popular plugin and with that you can accomplish what you want. Thanks for appretiation

I need more clarification from you to answer you correctly. You can build portfolio/blog pages with Frontend editor plugin, but if you want more customization on one of the demos from wp-royal.com you can modify them very easily from the Theme Customizer -> Portfolio Page (section). Cos I think that Cufo Theme Customizer have way much better options for portfolio grids than Frontend editor.
Each portfolio page on demo website is built with Cufo Theme Customizer. So now let me know what you think about that.

Hi Duke I have a lot of pictures on my portfolio page. I’ve noticed that on my ipad (probably on other devices as well) the body of the page stays empty until all the pictures are loaded (can be 10 or 20 seconds in my case… slow wi-fi). Can you add some kind of loading animation in the next release of the theme?

Go to Customizer -> Page Header (section) enable it and write your desired text in Portfolio Title/subtitle fields.

Only Portfolio Post will need to be transfered/created again after you setup Cufo Theme (because it is custom post type, with custom data)
At first you should read documentation, than I will help you as much as I can (but, I won’t create/transfer posts for you)

First when you visit my website www.greypartridgefilms.com 1. I want “Films” to display as default homepage and not Photography. Can this be done in ‘Cufo’? 2. When you visit “Photography” there are further categories and each contains set of pictures. Can this also happen? 3. Can each photo display EXIF data which is embedded into the photo.
I am asking because I could find this in Cufo’s demo.

You can set “Films” as homepage and make another page with Photography too, with filters ofc.

EXIF data stands for Exchangeable Image Format. It shows settings used on the camera when the picture was taken. e.g. shutter speed, aperture, focal length.
you mean you want to display that EXIF data on the images(/over images) as captions?
If you mean Image captions yes, you can display captions under/above iamges on stacked galleries and on/over images in the gallery slideshow. And there are some more options with Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons

And also can my pictures in the portfolio maintain the aspect ratio or they will be displayed as square form regardless of their aspect ratio. when aspect ratio of picture is 4:3 it is close to square form where as 16:9 is more of landscape (rectangle form) e.g. http://greypartridgefilms.com/portfolioentry/carnivorous/
1. There is no option for EXIF.
2. Yes you can change aspect ratio as you want. There is no limit for that.

It is your Hosting issue. The thing is: you should increase Resource Limits(memory_limit) in php.ini file, link here: http://goo.gl/0Mb02i
So if you have access to php.ini file set it to around 128MB or contact to your Hosting provider. They should fix your problem.

Hey, First of all thank you for developing such a great theme, with fully custom design options. I have a question though. I was trying to set a full screen image behind the sidebar (topbar in my case) so that the menu item are over the picture, where you are able to scroll down if you will but the image ocuppies the full screen until you do and discover the items below. Evenmore, it would be great if this welcome image could be a Revolution Slider underneith the menu items.

I managed to see the efect by setting the Sidebar transparency to 0 and scrolling until the slider fills the entire screen, but tha page still loads with the body background color (white in this case) on topof the picture. 1.You sould add the same revolution slider to each page you want to accomplish that via rev.slider (read in documentation).
2.And also you can add body background image from the Theme Customizer > Body (section) > General (tabs) > Styling options and change background color to image.

1- That won’t be a problem, i actually only need it on the Start page. I did add it from the revolution slider option on the elments to add on a page content.
2-I had tried that already but still I cannot use it with the slider…
3-I chekced that Top Margin on Revolution Slider is on 0px. Also I checked the options; - Slider Layout: Full Screen - Fullscreen Align: on - Force Full Width: on And on the Layout example (of the Rev. Slider settings) it looks like it shoud occupy the whole browser window, but still it doesn’t. And also on Customize i set to 0 all the TOP margin / pading of the Body, Sidebar, Logo and Menu. But there is still something saying the body should start under the sidebar, which i cannot find what it is.I also tried edditing the Design settings of the column where it stands using FrontEnd editor and set Top Mergin to -100px but still did not work.
Do you know what else could be blocking the slider from beign on top of the page at 0px?

Can you please increase your server memory limit up to 128MB? That is only server issue, nothing more. If you fix it, customizer will work perfectly.

Wordpress doesn’t include Portfolio Post Formats in export file, you should go to each Portfolio Post and assign them as intended.

Thanks for your quick reply! In the standard Saturn portfolio page, the Portfolio Post Formats where there at first. I didn’t changed something in the posts itself. The Portfolio Post Formats icons in the portfolio overview just disappeared all of a sudden when I was playing with the settings of it in the visual theme builder. And now I can’t see them if I activate the icons in the settings on the left.

Try to edit for ex: “Video Embed” post (from dashboard), then assign post format to Video and it should work. If it works, do it for all the posts.

I’m under deadline so I had to give up on your theme. But in the hopes of you improving your codebase for future versions here is my beta testing report:
After installing the required plugins, I keep getting memory errors like:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 87 bytes) in /usr/www/users/XXXXXXXXX/00cufo/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-setting.php on line 79
Yes I contacted my hosting company and they gave me a memory fix to the .htaccess file (now it’s at 64 megs) but it’s still crashing.
I managed to run the theme without the plugins and had no issues. But as soon as I installed Royal Portfolio the issue came back.
When I deinstalled Royal Portfolio the issue went away. But when I tried the next required plugin the issue came back.
I suspect that the issue is either one of the three required plugins, or a conflict between the plugins and the theme.
Just so you know you see the crash when you go into “customize” in the theme settings.
But something to keep in mind is that even without the plugins when you go to customize the theme in the WordPress backend it feels slow to load. And so you know on this same server I’ve done several dozen other test theme installs on virgin installations of WordPress and had no issues (and this was with some very complex themes).

Thank you for testing but all you are speaking about is Memory Limit on your server, nothing more. Everything is compatible, each plugin (even required) with Theme Customizer. I repeat this again: Wordpress Theme Customizer requires BIG Memory Limit and 64MB(but its ok if you have good configuration on the server) is not enough for that, you should have over 128MB(if you have bad configuration on the server) to run Customizer. So please dont judje if your server does not fits minumum requirements for Wordpress Theme Customizer..

P.S. One of my cliens was runing Customizer with 40MB Memory Limit.

first of all. Great work! Now I have a question. In the documentations is mentioned that the Plugins are for free. But when I try to activate “Brainstorm Force” with my envato username, API Key and Purchase Code of the theme (?) I get the message “Incorrect Purchase Code”. I need to activate these plugins to continue work with the awsome theme. I’m sure I just missed a hint somewhere in the documentation how to solve that issue. Or do I have to install the demo content? Please advise.

You should not activate those plugins, there are completely for FREE. I will write it in documentations in the next update. Plugins are bundled with Cufo theme and you are free to use them WITHOUT activation.
