Hello, can I add my own html code, so I can use my own webforms?
You can add your own HTML code after exporting from Variant – currently there is no function in Variant to edit HTML code. You must first finish in Variant, then edit your code outside after exporting.

This isn’t a WordPress theme, but an HTML template – the WP version of Launchkit will be released next week.
Alternatively, you could create a subdomain on your site to house the HTML version of Launchkit
Im looking into buying this but I have seen that you are going to be releasing a wordpress version in early May.

Hi, Sorry but no, Variant with Launchkit does not handle building forms at this time.
Can you not edit the HTML in the builder?
No, you assemble your page and add content, then export to HTML, then you can edit it as a normal HTML document.
Hi again!. A couple of pre-sale questions.
1) Is it easy to change the font-color of the “form-right”, left column, title elements? I mean, these titles are always white, but I will use mostly white or light images and so, would need dark color titles and haven’t figured out how to do it in the demo builder. Remeber that I’m referring to the “form-right” left column title and paragraphs.
2) Is the “VARIANT” a sepparate builder/framework I’ll have to buy or it is included when I purchase this “Launchkit Landing Page Template with Page Builder” project?.

1: Yes – you can do this with some custom CSS after you have exported from Variant. Just open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com and we’ll show you how.
2: Variant is included in the download package and it runs on your machine – just open builder.html in Chrome or Firefox.

Sorry but No. This cannot be easily translated for use with WordPress. This is why the WordPress Theme will be sold as a separate item, as it needs to be built by a dedicated and professional WordPress specialist. James
Hello. Pre-purchase question: Does the Contact Form have a redirect after submission option to a confirmation url/page?.
Can the form validate empty fields, so the user cannot submit it if there are empty fields?

2. Yes you can remove the ‘validate-required’ class for any non-essential fields

Mate, With all due respect, not everyone creates their blogs with Wordpress. There are many new technologies emerging that are javascript based front-end and people are opting to them, for example AngularJS, I know the majority of blogs hosted on Wordpress immensely outweigh others but they exist and are booming.
I would like to suggest you to also add the Blog List, Single Blog post and comment templates to your HTML version as well as it will make it a complete package.

Will you answer these questions?
1: Yes you can, but this will need to be done in HTML after you have exported your page from Variant.
2: What you can see in the demo is whet you get in the full product, the only difference is the ability to export in HTML, so if you find that there is not a text block where you need it in the demo, you won’t be able to do it after you purchase. You can do anything you like in HTML, but unfortunately Variant does not support dragging in or adding a text block to any place you choose, you will be stuck with the predefined blocks at this stage. Text formatting is basic – align left or right is all we have implemented at the moment.
3: Hi, we can consider this but it is not in our plans at this time.

The builder does come in the download package, the license is for use in one end product. This means that you can’t purchase one license then let multiple users make their own separate pages. You would need a license purchased for each user.

Hi,
I am very new at this. Trying to use my own images in the HTML builder in chrome. Even if I put new images in the “img” folder on my desktop I cannot access them. Also there is a lot of “img” folder, wich one to use?
How can I import new images in the html builder?

Hi Maxime,
Place the images inside the ‘img’ folder that resides directly inside the Launchkit folder. Then, in the builder, click ‘import images’ (on the modal that shows when you choose an image) and browse for the images you just placed inside the ‘img’ folder.

Hey! I really want to buy this lanchkit, but as I could test it the is no Russian language support. I mean I can type in russian but font style wont be the same. Is there anyway for me to change font style myself?

You could find a font from google.com/fonts that supports the characters you require, then include it yourself. (there are instructions on the google fonts page showing you how to do this)

Launchkit is not a WordPress theme, but a HTML template. This means it is not attached to any CMS, so managing blog posts, pages etc does not work the same.
The WordPress version of Launchkit will be out very early May.

Just open up builder.html from the variant folder in the download package in your browser (we recommend Chrome). This will open Variant and allow you to start assembling your page (and get the code etc)

Finally purchased this and got my install launched at http://antidoteforall.com.
I think the pricing blocks would benefit from having a CTA button within the columns. Right now there’s no call to action (even though each column is clickable.)
My question, though, is can you tell me how to disable the pricing columns from taking the “active” class? I want the active class to stay on one column permanently. (Right now whatever column the user hovers on goes active.)

To disable the hover active behaviour you mentioned, open scripts.js and remove lines 196 – 199. That will work
Hmm, I’ve done that, but the other two pricing columns are still becoming active on hover. I was to disable all ‘animation’ here. I just want the center column to be active/highlighted, and nothing to happen on hover. Maybe you misunderstood my request. Thanks for the quick support.

Hi. Love Variant and am considering purchasing but have a couple of stumbling blocks:
1. Why don’t all your templates include the same set of elements, menus, footers? I’m finding that my perfect template would be a combo of 3 of them. For instance, I love LaunchKit but where is the off canvas menu option that you get in Pivot… which I love but it doesn’t have the CTA elements that Machine has… etc… arrgh!
2. If I buy all 3, can I combine/cut-paste… wave a wand… to make my own perfect template?
3. Can the user make custom elements and have them available in the sidebar wizard?

1. We can’t really work this way as it is against TF terms to ‘bundle’ items together in one. Items sold here must be separate and independent of other items
2. Unfortunately not as all templates have their own CSS, so while you could cut and paste – it would require cutting and pasting a number of factors
3. You can open the ‘builder.html’ file and duplicate current elements, then change the HTML content to create your own custom blocks. This is not something we have documented in detail however and is one of those ‘do at your own risk’ things.
