This is unlikely to have anything to do with the theme. The theme does not contain anyway malware, if it did it would have been detected and reported by another user at the very least. I suggest you speak to your host about this to find the source of the malware.

Hi Support team.
I am interested in purchasing your theme to build a network for a local sports club which I am a member of.
We require a platform where members can communicate with one another, have their own simple profile, create events, add photos and write meets reports/blog posts.
It’s also important that the page is only visible to members of club so there needs to be a front end landing page with the communal section at the back.
Will your theme be suitable to my needs?

The Buddy theme itself does not provide these features but the BuddyPress plugin which the theme works provides most of them.
The theme has logged in/logged out shortcodes to show specific content to visitors and members. You may also want to use a plugin such as s2Member for more advanced membership abilities.

No the theme doesn’t come with a dark skin, but there are a number of styling options to change most of the theme colours.

1) Yes of course, as long as it is for sale it will always be updated to work with the latest version of BuddyPress.
2) As with most themes sold here we unfortunately do not provide the ability to test the theme before you purchase it. The main reason for this is a demo would be editable by all users and as a result some users would completely ruin the theme and the potential buyer would then get a completely skewed view of how the theme works. When a reliable theme demo plugin is available, there are plans to allow theme testing.

Hi, I’m very interested in this theme, but when I checked the live preview, there seems to be a bug on the navigation menu. When I click the menu, then expand the buddypress menu, the container doesn’t expand with it. Does this bug still exist in the latest version?

Hi ! I’ve seen that community-stats plugin was not functional with a multisite installation ? I would like to know if that’s true before purchasing the theme. Is there any other plugin doing that work ? Thank you !

The Community Stats plugin will work in terms of pulling the main site data, but is not designed to pull multisite data e.g. number of blogs, posts across the whole network etc. I’m not aware of a plugin that does this unfortunately. I suggest Googling “wordpress multisite stats” to see is any plugins are available.
Well, the 2nd site will be the copy of the main one so it should work. I just created a multisite to change the theme actually.
You mention that your theme is compatible with bbpress. Most people I know run SimplePress, not bbpress.
Have you tested this theme also with SimplePress forums?

This is a BuddyPress theme which includes bbPress so that’s why it’s compatible with bbPress. The theme has not been tested with SimplePress but I don’t see any reason why it won’t work.
The homepage slider doesn’t seem to slide on it’s own. I can’t find any settings for this in the theme options. Can you advise me on how to switch on auto slide with 5 second interval?

Hello, I would like to transform my music blog into a social platform where people can post their own music and create their own profiles. I would also like to keep the hundreds of blog posts I currently have.
Would you say this is the appropriate theme for such a thing?

The theme itself doesn’t offer these features. The theme works with the BuddyPress plugin which is what actually offers all the social features. BuddyPress allows users to sign up and post status updates and edit their profile. In order to post media files as well you will need to use the BuddyPress Activity Plus plugin which the theme is also compatible with.

Hello. I believe there is an error (the page doesn’t load completely) on register page (Buddypress 2.2.2). I have deleted this from your template header.php file:

And the register page is loaded again.

Hello, I have just buyed the Buddy theme and I am facing problem with it as it is breaking my site major functionality. It is giving me an error page while I am trying to access a page through the admin bar. Please let me know if I am missing anything or if I am doing anything wrong.
