I’m having problems with my media library. When I try to add an image to a post or a page, the media library won’t display any of the items in the library.

I wanted to respond to some others, but can’t. The “unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM” error is due to the PHP on the server being too old. Needs to be at least 5.3 to not get this error. “PAAMAYIM NEKUDOTAYIM is Hebrew for” (double colon).
My question is about how to setup the theme with the Charity home page in the demo. I got the Politics demo when I imported the demo data.
Now that I look closer, I think only the pictures and some content are different, but the layout is all the same. Am I correct?
Yes, these are closely related and differ with little functionality.
I can’t imagine why you would want to control the image sizes in content area. Anyone publishing articles is going to need to resize image for the content so we can use left align or right align to make the content look good. Very few articles have a big image at the top and none in the content area.
I need control of the content area. We can’t expect bloggers to use one image at the top without images in the text.

This theme is great, but one thing has been driving me nuts.
I don’t mind the theme controlling the size of images for Featured Image, but I want full control of the images we place in posts.
Currently, in order to force an image to the size we want, the image has to either be centered, or in a table. Articles often have images with them, so it doesn’t make sense to have the theme control the size of all images, just the ones that go in the feed on the front page, and the featured image on posts. All other image sizes should be controlled by the size chosen by the author.
How can I retain control of image sizes in Posts and Pages?
Example: http://sanjoseatheists.org/philanthropy/ we put the images in tables or centered them and still they are not formatting with text the way we need them too.

There is no such option we are providing in our theme to control image sizes in content area . Normally, you have to crop images in order to use them in content area.
Yes, we do crop them and then the them blows them up and makes them big. We want to control the size of the images in the content area.
By control I mean when we want to upload an image and we get the wordpress media dialog and we choose 150×200 for instance, and we want it left aligned. We want to use images of various sizes. But when we do that, the theme makes one image huge while not doing anything to the other.

Is there any way to add a search widget to the header menu area? Top of page?
I am afraid it is not possible to add search where you are looking it to add.
I’d like to manipulate the order in which Team members show. For instance President, Vice president, Secretary, etc… I only see alpha order (ASC/DESC). How do I adjust my team’s display order?
Hai @ Iwdeddie. you would require a plugin for sorting order. Get that plugin and sort your players the way you like.

I’m also having a problem since the last WP update to 4.2.2. I opened a ticket and they said I need WeStand version 2.3, but this is not available on Theme Forest.

The last update available on ThemeForest is 1.6 – updated last December.
Where can I get version 2.3???
And now its 1.7. Please get it by going to Themeforest Account > Downloads > WeStand theme. Get the latest files and update your theme.

Hai @ ewise. Please get the latest files by going to your Account > Downloads > Westand theme. Download latest files and update your theme files via ftp. Your theme would be updated, but it will revert your custom changes that you might have made in code.
Good morning , I purchased the template on May 4 . I loaded the template on WordPress 4.2.2 . Spent 3 hours thinking this was on my side. Had to re-install wordpress several times. I noticed someone else had the same issue and you said it would be fixed, but it is not. Please help

We purchased this theme and have been having some struggles with it.
We are also disappointed that despite having the ‘email me when the theme updates’ box checked we have yet to receive any notice of theme updates. The ‘Last Update’ box in the sidebar here clearly says that the theme has been updated since our purchase.
It is really important to us and our client to have the latest version of the theme in use. Please check that those who have purchased are indeed getting theme update notifications. Thank you!
Last update was given on 26th April. I am not sure why you did not get the notification. However, you can get the latest files from themeforest and update your theme to get things fixed for you.

Got some problems with the gallery tool of the WeStand Theme: Everything worked fine until updating wordpress to 4.2.1. In the admin panel, when I drag an image from the “Select Media”-Section to the “Gallery Section”, the selected images only appear temporarily. After being saved all images are gone and the Gallery is empty in the Frontend. In the code there’s no URL displayed as a “src-Attribute” at all. Please, I really need your help, Thanx, Claudi
Hai @ jungundhungrig. Thank you for your purchase. The issue is occurring due to latest wordpress version. We have already resolved this issue. Please get the latest files from themeforest and update your theme. It will work perfect for you.
Your support system is completely horrible. You create a ticket and it doesn’t even email you the ticket ID, so if you didnt copy it somewhere you are screwed. You go back and click “lost your ticket ID” it sends you back to a contact form…. waste of time. Instead of ranting here I’ll let me review do the talking.

hi am finding i have a couple of issues with this theme – i activated one of the default WP themes and this issues disappear so it seems it happens only when the theme is active, the issues are as follows:
1) All in one SEO plugin – When editing a page and after adding all the seo meta data into the plugins fields when you save, the fields don’t get repopulated with the content you entered but instead just shows the word blog.
If i enable a different theme this issues goes away so can confirm it only happens with this theme – and i am using the latest version of it.
On the plus side from the page All Pages i am able to see the data i have entered but i would like to use the plugin properly.
2) For some reason on the front end of the site the H1 page title is being truncated to 34 characters long – unfortunately in this instance i have a few pages where the title is slightly longer.
I checked the source code with the theme enabled to see if it was a CSS restriction but its not – its showing it truncated within the H1 tag.
Would really appreciate any help as we are just about to launch and am not able to because of these few minor issues.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.

f addressed the truncation issue by editing line 157 of the themes function.php by commenting it out and adding a new line as follows:

am not able to resolve the All in One SEO Plugin issue though….
What is unusual though and a commonf act regardless of what page i edit it always show the following in the All In One SEO plugins preview:
Blog | http://mydomain.com/cs_slider/blog/Perhaps its something to do with the cs_slider post type thats causing the issue?
so i disabled the cs_slider but the preview now shows http://mydomain.com/blog on every page – weird…
so to verify the issue is you cannot enter the All in ONE SEO Plugin data fields via the page editor – well you can but it doesn’t save the data.
You can add it via the quick view – however after saving it – if you go back and edit the page and then update the page all your meta info is removed – presumably because the fields are not getting populated.
Sadly after building an entire site with 35+ pages i left the SEO part till the very end ready for launch – and this is a major issue for me now as i will have to use another theme if this cant get fixed…. have literally spent hours customizing it to suit my needs too 
k if it helps i found if you disable the page builder the All In One SEO Plugin works as its supposed too – i can live with that and will just use Visual Composer – hope that helps! 
The said SEO plugin is not fully compatible with theme, this is why you are facing issues. But I am glade you found a trick to make it work. Thank you for your flexibilty. I would resolve this in coming updates
its still a good theme – perhaps you can have an option to enable/disable the builder – or maybe include visual builder as alternative builder to your own – thats what BeTheme does they have VC and their own Muffin Builder so you can choose either.

Please go to your theme backend Appearance -> CS theme option -> General -> footer settings -> Here will be the text, you can change it as per your requirement.

You do not need to create a new ticket, just update the existing ticket and write the detail of issue there, it would be resolved.
