It there a way omit the top right menu from appearing?
Also on the portfolio preview, is there a way to omit the circular button and just have the title? Finding that people cant enter into the portfolio as they are not clicking on the title but on the button and they are only getting the popup picture. Hope this makes sense.

I urgently need import help today
I was able to get most of the data imported but some of them remain. The server is really slow and taking a lot of time to respond. Pls check your error log in cpanel – since I am now seeing a 500 internal server error after disabled couple of plugins.
There are no errors on cpanel. What do you recommend I do?
I never have issues importing demos on other themes. I really need this demo content today. Are you sure the .xml file isn’t corrupted? My colleagues are saying it must be a theme issue. Thanks in advance !
LiveMesh, sometimes after import it takes me to a 404: wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=2, does not exist.
I imported without attachments and had no issues. Will give a try again. The the import file itself is not the issue since it works in other sites fine and even if it is corrupted, it should raise the error you are seeing- should just fail to import. The file itself is gripped and if it is corrupted, it won’t be extracted.
You are correct, the xml works without attachments. My colleague is going to test another server as well.. I need those attachments

Sorry to hear that. You should check the error log. Somewhere we should see an error log no matter where the issue originates from. You may be able to see one in the root folder of the Wordpress installation, if not in cpanel. Once the error is found, it is easy to fix. 500 internal server error is a generic error for any type of error encountered. May be you should also give a try at setting WP_DEBUG true in wp-config.php.
I tried the wp-debug earlier. I also tried installing onto a different server/website, and the xml still had trouble loading. We had to upload it 3-4 times to get the data. I can’t spend anymore time troubleshooting because of work, so I will just work with what I have now. !Thank you
I notice that the live demo on themeforest receives a ‘404’ page sometimes. I need to use it as my guide, are you guys doing maintenance?
LiveMesh, this is one of the most beautiful themes! But there are just too many issues for us. I just noticed some issues when viewing in Safari. May we have a refund please?
Sorry to hear that. You will need to approach Envato Support for a refund and we will say yes when they ask. But I am curious, what is that issue which scares you? I checked in Safari the demo site and I just see some initial flickering due to revolution slider plugin and we can address the same. Everything else seems normal. We just moved to a brand new VPS – nginx web server 2-3 days back and we are trying to address issues, if any.
And why you (or your client) are in such a hurry? A beautiful site does not happen in a day. We usually take about 12-24 hours to respond to queries/issues and you just seem to be in great hurry right from the start. Anyway, I wish you good luck in finding something that works for you.
I love your support and love your theme. I sent you a screenshot to portfoliothemes@gmail.com just now. My concern is that our clients will run into minor issues like this when they reach our site. I’m assuming the theme has been thoroughly tested across all browsers? I will consider keeping the theme. Some feedback: Importing the demo content was unsuccessful for us, and shouldn’t take hours of troubleshooting. It left a bad first impression. We hadn’t had an issue with other themes before.
planaglobal- thanks for voicing your concerns. I understand the same. We have done our best to check our theme in all browsers including IE. If there are issues, we can fix them or find a workaround if the browser lacks support for that feature.
Regarding import issues, we have not had anyone complain so far about import problems for Fusion and if someone did complain, we have been able to get the things imported for them. Based on our experience with our previous 8 themes, I can assure you that import errors are always something that need a fix on the server side – lack of resources allocated, incorrect configuration, missing libraries etc. If there is a problem on theme side, the importer will error out and suggest the actual issue like post type not found, theme not loaded, plugin missing etc. We won’t see 500 internal server errors, stopping in between imports etc. Even if the import requires more resources, we can manage the same by importing incrementally – issuing an import multiple times. Hope things will become smoother for you in coming days.
So far it’s really great. Is there a way to turn off the hamburger menu but keep the text menu on the top. I can’t seem to find an option for disabling it.
Basically have the main menu that is http://portfoliotheme.org/themes/?theme=Fusion but without the hamburger there.

Berlino – glad you like the theme. We just moved to the new firmware stack and things look much better, as I can see. The first home page may load a little slow due to presence of videos which should be downloaded before the the page shows up – it is by design. We can defer the video downloads easily but the effect would be not nice.
The theme does support google analytics – just use one of the popular plugins. We use it ourselves the same to track our visitors. We had analytics support builtin but had to remove the same due to security concerns raised by reviewers. It is no longer allowed to input any type of script in the theme options.

Great theme, But;
i cant remove page sections on pages, it doesn’t save, any known issue with that?

Also trying to drag additional sections across to the Agency page but after pressing save it takes itself of the list – in short cannot add to the Agency list.

Actual you don’t need to hit save, once dropped , the list is updated automatically and page should reflect the changed sections. Can you check if you have a JavaScript error is some kind in the developer console. Pls try disabling all plugins and retry. Do let us know if you still have trouble and we can take a look.

howdy…the demo site on theme forest takes forever to load…tell me that’s not going to be the case when i load it onto my server…forever….........spinning little icon….otherwise i’ll plunk down my hard earned dinero and take a chance…looks like it will fit my needs…
Thanks for your interest. Glad you wrote to me on this. We did some checks on page speed and things seemed to be normal speed wise based on some tests we performed. The home page has some 3-4 html5 videos which may take time to load (they are preloaded to achieve the hover effect). Otherwise I do not see anything different here from our other themes. Is this seen on the home page only or other pages too ? We will continue to dig a little more in coming days to improve loading speed (may be use JS to load videos after the page load ). Will keep you posted. Do let me know if you find something else that we need to look at. Appreciate you taking time to provide us the feedback.
thanks for your note…yes it was while trying to open the Blog…i’m interested in displaying as a “pinterest” style blog i.e.: masonry or tiled or tumbling…does Fusion include this functionality, or will i need to use a plug-in…thanks!
No support for masonry or Pinterest style blog. You will have to use a plugin – essential grid is one good candidate IMO.
Btw – we are planning to move to a new firmware stack this weekend. Looks like our current server backend has issues handling the increased traffic and we are noticing this with our other themes as well.

Is seems that the demo has two different navigations: The “Hamburger” navigation on the right, at then the main navigation, which collapses into another “Hamburger” menu on mobile. can one or the other be disabled?
Thanks for your interest. You can do the same by not setting the menu in appearance menus screen or just removing it via one line custom css.
