I’m actually curious if there’s a way to modify the register page, you know, add some fields like drop down menus, radio button options and also, a forgot password page which is not redirecting to wordpress page. U feel me? Just presale question
Hi there,
BuddyPress provide options to modify their registration page, for more info see: https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/guides/modifying-the-registration-form/
There is no frontend forgot password page unfortunately.
Hi, I have two question.
1. Does it has “lastest topic” shortcodes?
2. I found some problem about reply function, when I reply people from the forum,it didn’t mention him, even though notification.

OK, thanks
Is there an option to remove certain notifications from the activity feed such as when people become friends, when they change profile pictures etc.?

My copy of Buddy didn’t come with Visual Composer… Can you please help?
nvm I figured it out.
I use buddy theme “posts” shortcode to display 2 different categories of posts on one page. For example, [posts cats=”30” title=”true” per_page=”2” ] and [posts cats=”29” title=”true” per_page=”2” ]. The pagination are enabled on both sections. But the issue is that clicking the first section’s page 2 will cause both sections move to page 2. What I expect that pagination will change the page of its own section, not affect other post sections. From the url of page 2, it is like http://host/page/2/, this causes both post section move to page 2. Is there a way to do pagination only in its own post section? Thanks.
Hi there,
I’ve addressed your question in your support ticket.
Hi, I’m looking into getting a theme to create a (partially paid) community site with WP and buddypress. So my question, is the Buddy: theme compatible with S2Member or similar plugins?
Hi there,
I have no tested s2Member with this theme, but other users have and have not reported any issues with this plugin.
there are bugs in sidebars theme option on buddypress. and i cant change sidebar for posts
Hi there,
Could you be more specific, so I know what to look for. What bugs are you seeing?
sidebar for activiy, member (buddypress) not work on last versione, if i use the 2.7 yes… and if i want change a sidebar for posts, not work. (Sry for my eng)
Hmmm, I’ve looked into this and don’t see any bugs and I’ve not had anyone else reported this issue.
Since your support for this theme has now expired (you received 6 months of free support when you purchased the theme). You will need to renew your support by visiting the theme item page and clicking “Renew support” button on the right hand side. For more information please see: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/207886473-Extending-and-Renewing-Item-Support
i tried on a clear wp installation + theme, and i cant use “personal sidebar” on individual post, it back default, it seems the function get_sidebar is missing on single.php file
Ah, I see what you mean. I can confirm this is a theme bug and I will be fixing it ASAP.
nice, I have another question, the gp custom content on widget. im use that for adsense code, but when i save, it cut some line.
Hmmm, you’re going to renew your support so I can look into this for you.
Hi there. I already installed the theme on my WP site but I can’t find documentation. Is that in the zip file?
Hi there,
It’s included in the full theme download inside the help file or online at http://ghostpool.com/help/buddy/help.html
Thank you so much.
I installed the new update today and now when I try to create a slide I can see where to put the page url I want the slide to link to.

Thanks, unfortunately my support has expired and I can’t find anything covering this in the articles so I’ll have to see if I can figure it out myself. It’s strange because before the update the forum to put the url I wanted the slide to link to was there when creating the slide in dashboard.
This looks like a theme bug and it will be fixed in the next theme update.
Hey just wanted to let you know, I also had the site break after updating like mdr91000. After looking into it, like 34 of header.php was the cause. There’s a function there called ‘abinst’ that doesn’t seem to be defined anywhere. Removing the function name fixed the site. Cheers!
Hi there,
Thank you for reporting this. This is a typo, abinst should be absint, a PHP function. This will be fixed in a theme update immediately.
I recommend people not to install this last version that completely crashed my website. The previous one worked, though.
Hi there,
Nobody else has reported this problem so it’s possible this is just an issue on your end. Why not open a support ticket and report the specific issue you’re having so I can look into fixing it is it’s a bug.
I want users to be able to comment without being logged in
Hi there,
I’ve responded to your ticket on the support site.
Hi. Before I buy the theme, I would like to have a look at the member area after login. Can you set up an account or how we are going to do this? Regards Elias
Hi there,
As with most themes sold here we unfortunately do not provide the ability to test the theme before you purchase it. The main reason for this is a demo would be editable by all users and as a result some users would completely ruin the theme and the potential buyer would then get a completely skewed view of how the theme works. When a reliable theme demo plugin is available, there are plans to allow theme testing.
Actually, there are many Themes here on Envato which offers Demo access and even Admin access – if you need a list, please let me know. So I am surprised that this is not possible with this theme or the Wordpress site behind. I mean that is why WP has different roles and member levels, but maybe you are not aware of that. And as I can’t see all aspects of the theme and the functionalities I am not sure if I would purchase the theme right now. But hey, maybe I am just one in a million so you can live with that I guess. However just to say a demo access isn’t possible because of reasons you pointed out is just not true. Sorry, but this is just an open and honest comment from my side. Please don’t get offended.

Yes there are many themes on Envato that offer demo access, but my point still stands most themes (there are thousands being sold) do not offer admin access. The sites that do offer admin access either have their own custom setup or paying a company a yearly fee to handle this for them. I’ve used some in the past and found them expensive and unreliable.
It would be great if you could give me a list of themes providing demo access.
\WordPress user roles really play no role here. If users have limited access they can’t try out any of the options so it’s pointless having demo access. If users have full access they can change the demo which is why you need to use a demo access plugin.
Good job ! But will you propose an AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) compatibility ?
Hi there,
In future, when I have the time, hopefully. Best I can say.
Before I purchase I have a question I like the theme but if your theme have feature like http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/members/kleoadmin/
See the responsiveness profile menu tabs
What are your thoughts on a strategy like this: Example
1. Use a function to move lower-priority Tabs to the end of the list (to the right). 2. Use CSS to reposition those Menu items vertically and hide. 3. Use a function to add another menu “More” before the lower-priority menu items. 4. The Tricky part. Option 1. Attempted to use CSS hover to display the hidden list items following the ‘More’ Tab (I have an idea of how it might work but need to test it) Option 2. I think ‘option 1’ wouldn’t work for touch screens because there isn’t really a hover effect, as it behaves more like an ‘Active’. So Js would be needed to initiate a drop down box with the hidden menu items. However, this is above my skill set.
Do you think this strategy would make it any easier or more feasible?
Hi there,
The Buddy theme’s tabs are responsive, but they are not the same as that theme. You can see what they look like here: http://buddywp.wpengine.com/activity/
1) You would need to ask BuddyPress about modifying the order of tabs as I’m not sure if this is possible.
2) This can be done using CSS.
3) Again this is something you’ll need to ask BuddyPress about.
4) If you want to implement this, it sounds feasible but if you’re not able to do it yourself you’ll need to hire a developer to do it.
hello I found I can not recieve the register notice form my new users ,and my users also can not reveive the confirm letter from my website.is it any related to the buddytheme, how to check it?

will this theme work on godaddy with out buddypress.
Hi there,
Yes it will.
I bought the theme and tried to install it and got a install failed with this error “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”
I found it on the support page.
Could you please let me know what widget positions are available in this theme? Thank you.
Hi there,
You can add widgets to the sidebars and footer. You can also add widgets to the main column using the [sidebars] shortcode.
Thank you for your reply. So there is not main column widget without the use of a short code is there? I ask as I want to use this theme with JReviews and I would need to place a widget module in the main column. It does not, however, support shortcodes.
The JReviews widget does not require a shortcode. You add the widget to a custom sidebar and then display that sidebar in the main column using the theme’s own [sidebar] shortcode.
what for atrocious i renew extra for full money the support then i need help and every day 1 answere in the conversation , i have a big community what need the functunally theme and all what support tell me in 3 days ” Ajax search: This is an issue with the plugin as is looking for specific classes and ID for the search form. I’ll look into addressing this in the next update.
I can’t see why the media upload window is not loading on the Buddy theme? Have you contact BuddyBoss support to see if they have any ideas?”
for what i pay 48 $ renew support …. iam very angry
Hi there,
You paid for theme support, you did not pay for me to immediately fix compatibility issues with third party plugins. I suggest you read what support does and does not include here.
As it says on this page – support only includes third party plugins that come with the theme, not the millions of other plugins out there.
That said, I’m still looking into these issues for you and asked you to contact the plugin developers as they might have some more info to help speed up the solution. This has apparently got you very angry.
yes i contact the plugin devopler and pay you a new suporrt renew for over 40$? You say i musst make your Work ? for what i pay ??? You think thats is a good Support from you Guys? I renew Support thats you contact and solve the Problem not Iam ? Otherwise i dont pay when i have time to contact the support of them and solve the problem alone? and your support for Costumers Teribble! I have a community what need the site and you give one Answere every 24 h . And here look how friendly your Support is to Users http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/bildschirmfotou8jzd0t5ec.png . now i book fiverr guy for solve this Problem for 20$ again. thank you for your Awesome Support, defently i buy nothing again by you
Support does not cover third party plugin compatibility. What part of that do you not understand? Just because you renewed support for a specific reason doesn’t mean that was a valid reason. And with all that said I’m actually looking into this issue for you – all I’m waiting for is you to contact BuddyBlog and you just keeping moaning and complaining and have yet to give me their reply.
Thanks please buy nothing from me ever again! All my other 5 star ratings speak for themself.
no i dont … you have your 5 stars … ok we will wait when the users need support then he will give – 5 … the money for renew support i see no back…. buy you a ice … you cost me 47$ and 20 for fiverr guy make your work so buy you a big ice for 67 $ and send me the Picture… My Review for You: Theme 4 Stars , Support -5 stars , Response 1 Message in 24 Hour when Costumer have Luck -5 Stars . And believe me iam not a small buyer i have over 120 Items Buying here on Envato …..
I’ve just installed and tested BuddyBlog on my site and the upload window is working correctly. This mean this is unlikely to be a theme issue, but an issue with your installation such as a plugin conflict, I suggest disabling all other plugins to see if this resolves the issue. I responded to your ticket on my support site with video showing you this.
So there you have it folks. After all of that, it isn’t even an issue with the theme, it’s an issue on the customer’s own server.
