Cesis use the WPbakery page builder ( visual composer ) so you shouldn’t have any problems.
But if you are using shortcodes from your current theme, those may not work.

As I mention over in the comment on ‘TheFox’ theme…I purchased Cesis a couple of days ago based on your recommendation of Cesis over TheFox…and over the only other theme i was seriously considering ‘Total’.
The comment you just made above re “The main difference is also that Cesis can use the frontend editor of the WPbakery page builder.” I didn’t know to ask about that…so that’s also a plus for Cesis..so feeling good about my decision.
However, I have now decided to use ‘Elementor’ as my preferred Page-Builder, due to its speed, easier interface, inline editing, ability to quickly edit for Mobile devices etc…and so I need to know does Cesis work well with Elementor???
I hope the answer is yes otherwise I will be buying ‘Total’ as it full supports it…please please please say YES

You can use the elementor with Cesis, but our special module still use the WPbakery builder.
We just checked Total, but I think they are using the WPbakery builder too to build their module.
So if they mean the theme is 100% compatible with Elementor, our is also fully compatible, except that you will need to use the WPbakery to use our custom modules.

Yes, Cesis is better than TheFox, we added features that we couldn’t add in Thefox, it is more customizable and more light than Thefox.

Pre-purchase question. Does your theme support left-handed sidebars? And I don’t mean a vertical header. We’re working on our new website and now where looking for a theme that fitts our design. In our design we’re using a left-handed sidebar, just like a vertical header in combination with a top header.

- I have tried refreshing multiple times and still have error message.
Additionally I am trying to save a header preset and the loading animation next to save changes button just keeps spinning. (I am assuming these 2 issues are related)

Hi, I use Cesis and WPBakery Page Builder – after activating WPBakery I can’t access to posts, pages etc. When I try to edit them I got “Oops, This Page Could Not Be Found!” Error. Only Content blocks is able to edit. I use https. At page without https it works good.

That’s strange are you sure the SSL settings are set correctly?
Try to change the permalinks from settings > permalinks.
If that doesn’t fix the problem can you please contact our Support Forum and if possible give us the credentials to log in to your dashboard.

SSL is work fine (use Let’s encrypt), permalinks too. I found that problem happen when I try to EDIT pages or custom posts after changing the role in WPBaker role manager because I want to enable WPBakery at more custom post types OR when I import demo “agency” (did not try others yet). When there’s pure instalation everything is ok… but when I upload demo or change the role in wpbakery I can’t get into edit of pages because of error “page not found”.

In the first place we were planning on using the new “Visual composer” plugin but they are still not ready in terms of custom modules etc so we fall back to the “WPbakery page builder” because most of the people are used to it.

This is what we planned to use but currently there is no possibility for us to create the custom modules so we were obliged to use the Wpbakery page builder.
We still managed to make an awesome theme out of it!

Regarding the images / photos size, we use ratio and not fixed size, like 4:3, 16:9.
If you want a list of the image size we used we should be able to give it to you but it’s pretty long, if you can contact our support team they will be glad to help you!

Hello tranmautritam! I feel very much the inability to edit fonts in posts, not just major ones. What you did in Typography module is very good – unfortunately there are no editing of fonts in posts. There is still no support for LayerSlider WP. If and when will you add font support in posts? If and when will the support for LayerSlider WP be added? I would love to make the CESIS theme for bloggers where a graphic view of text is very important as well.
