Have you installed magento 2? To install magento 2 and our theme you will need to use ssh to run the commands. If you are not technical and you don’t have a developer then it will be quite difficult for you.

Thank you for your comment. You will not be able to update claue 2 version from claue 1. You can only reinstall from scratch.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have a Manuel how to remove clause 1 first? Before I install clause 2 on my server?

I fixed it myself to remove version 1 and install version 2. But I have got this error: Exception #0 (Magento\Framework\Exception\LocalizedException): Please update your modules: Run “composer install” from the Magento root directory. The following modules are outdated: MGS_ClaueTheme data: code version – 1.0.0, database version – 1.0.2

Hi, you need to remove all MGS module in database before you install version 2. Please access to your database, find the table named “setup_module” remove all record with prefix is “MGS_”

That is also what I did. After instelling version 2 I have got the above Message.

Are you sure you have deleted all the MGS records? Please look for the MGS_ClueTheme record in that table again, if you see its version is 1.0.2 then change it to 1.0.0

I have used you uninstall guide. 1. Change theme in Content > Design > Configuration to Magento Uma 2. Remove all MGS files on FTP. App > Code > MGS App > Design > Front end > MGS Pub > Media > MGS, MGS_Blog and MGS_Brand 3. Remove all mgs_ files in Database under “table” 4. Remove all MGS files in database under ear_attribute “source_model” 5. Cache flush 6. upgrade 7. Compile 8. Develop 9. Now upload all MGS files for version 2 on FTP 10. Follow the steps of installing your theme in your guide 11. Enable all modules 12. Upgrade (I already get an error when I want to upgrade… 13. cannot go further.

Did you run the command to install claue 2 extensions? In the case of the above error, is the extension megamenu.

Yes, I have uploaded all files of the Claue 2 document and enabled all extensions. After running and upgrade in SSH, I have got an error on mega menu and portfolio. It said that both extensions did not exist in the Database.

Please try to find them again in the database and delete, then reinstall.

Unfortunately, I have got 2 errors. Is it possible that you write a guide how to remove version 1?

It’s hard to help you fix the problem with just the error messages you report.

It seems that the error you are getting is from a certain extension. Could you please help us disable each extension and check to see which extension it comes from?

It is working now. Although I still have a few questions, 1. For category landing page, I cannot upload images anymore at catalog > category. Where should I upload them now? 2. Category page with products does not show up 3. Custom CSS is not available anymore 4. Front end builder does not work. I made a new homepage via the front end builder, but after save and publish, nothing changed.

1. Please try to upload thumbnail image for sub category.

2. Did you install elassticsearch on server? Did you install Smile ElastichSuite modules? Or please try to reindex data.

3. You can find custom css filed in MGS > Page Builder Settings

4. Please try to refresh magento caches.
