Hi,
I wanted to update the theme so that the navigation shows up well on mobile devices. When I update the entire theme files my site messes up so I wanted to see if you could tell me if there specific files that I can update that will handle the menu update only?

Hi, the navigation menu was redesigned to work better on mobile devices. I recommend you update the entire theme, not just specific files. The menu is handled in the header.php file, but is styled and functions using style.css and site.js, too. May I see a preview URL of the issue? Hi, After an update to v1.3.1 I lost all images that were used with short code [image src=”xxx.jpg] in the posts. I now only see this shortcode text instead of the image. Any solution to this issue? Cheers!
ok.. found that ‘Image’ shortcode was removed from shortcodes.php.. was it intentionally? Will it brake anything in new version?
Hi, the [image] shortcode was intended for backwards compatibility and the recommended way of adding images is via the standard HTML img tag. Disappointed with the lack of customization on this theme. The last theme I downloaded from Theme Forest had the Visual Composer built in. I see that there are 6 – 9 – or 12 grid layouts for posts. How do I have just ONE post on the home page? 6, 9, 12 + are fine for the archive, but not for the main page. HELP!
Hi, sorry the theme does not contain any visual composer – it’s meant to be simple in functionality to leave room for extension via plugins. You can still use the CodeCanyon Visual Composer http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431 if you install it separately. You can customize the theme with a child theme and modify any layout – the theme contains styles for grid1, ... , grid12. i was wondering is it possible to have like a top header menu when we can show the languages and the social networks icons? If not, what do you suggest will be the best place to show them in your theme?

Hi, the theme does not have a top header menu – will consider this feature in the future. I suggest you create a child theme with a modified header with matching design and own specific requirements.

Hi, I am trying to tweak several things, i would like to take out the search box, change the font to Myriad Pro Light, add a category section to the about page & make the highlighted yellow square from the categories of the portfolio to a simple line.

Hi, thank you for your purchase. The theme has a built-in option to hide the search box in the header – use the Theme Options to toggle its visibility. For the other requirement use the Custom CSS field to tweak the font and highlighted filter item in the portfolio. If you don’t have CSS skills I suggest you hire a web developer that can quickly help you out with any custom change.

Hi, thank you for your interest. The theme hasn’t been tested with the WPML plugin, but as far as I know it can use the default.po file available in the theme folder – I haven’t heard any complaints so far.
hello, i love what i see about this theme. Before i purchase, can you tell me if its possible to use the social buttons on the homepage footer?
I plan to use it for my paintings and i would like visitors to be able to link to my instagram/facebook etc using the social buttons in the footer. Is that possible?

I am testing the theme out on iPhone 5s and the menu button does not work at all when you tap it. Are you aware of this? I have tested it in both Chrome and Safari on my mobile. It works fine on a computer when you resize the browser to take mobile dimensions but on an actual mobile, the Menu doesn’t open.
I need a mobile site so its really important for the theme to work correctly.

It seems some of the image/tiles under Work do not in the mobile either. Go to Work and the first image is tappable, while the others are not (on the mobile only).
You are right, this happens because of the hover state of the thumbnails. I fixed it and it should work now – please check on the live preview first (will push an update if confirmed). Alright, I’ll be updating the theme today with the fix.
Is there a way to set it up so the menu links are clickable as links, even if there is a sub menu? I would like to change that functionality. It’s the one piece that has been confusing to people who have looked at the site.

Hi, that’s pretty easy to achieve using the custom CSS field in the Theme Options:
.home .page-title { font-family: Arial; font-weight: 700; }
kudos for the quick reply. Refresh the page above. She wants the text in lower case (I changed it to lower case via theme options, but it’s still showing as upper case).
Use the text-transform CSS property to tweak it: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_text_text-transform.asp

Hi, thank you for your purchase. Please create a parent category and some subcategories that will act as filters populating them with portfolio items. All you need to do next is assign the parent category to the base category in the portfolio page settings. Also, filters are active only when you activate Infinite Scroll in Portfolio Gallery (Theme Options).

Hi, thank you for your interest. There is no way you can prevent users from downloading your images in a HTML5 theme (can do it easily with a tool like firebug or chrome inspector) – you can only make the images not have the right click save menu, if that helps.

Yes, you can add this simple feature to any theme by using the custom css on all images: pointer-events: none;

Any chance of requesting a modification on the portfolio to allow either a slideshow short code to be embedded or a different gallery.
I’m not a fan of having to display more than 3 images currently and would like a little more flexibility.
