Hi,
I’m using this nice theme to setup a new website and just noticed that the text icons on quickfinders disappear on Chrome and are only visible on mouse over. I’m using Version 37.0.2062.120 on Ubuntu. Disabling or reducing the number of shadows added through javascript it does not disappear but some icons look cropped.
Can you help?

I notice a display issue in the header when browsing with Google Chrome, on the left and right sides, under/beside the logo and menu items, there are white spaces appearing.

Hi, check plugins/portfolio.php , here you have egister_taxonomy (line 48). After ‘query_var’ => ‘codeus_portfoliosets’ just add
'rewrite' => array('slug' => 'portfolios_sets', 'with_front' => false)

I have an issue with the letter ‘x’ being replaced with a ’/’ when it’s on it’s own. When I copy and paste this slash it pastes as ‘×’, a squashed x (more like the math symbol). Is this a case of the font not being able to render this × character?
Just noticed that the ‘x’ symbol is fine, but when there’s an ‘×’ it’s replaced with a slash (’/’). When the regular ‘x’ is between to numbers it’s replaced with a slash. Is the second issue (between two numbers) to do with this in formatting.php?

1. what concerns Redirect from “Blog” to your actual page, you have actually two options:
Option 1: you define your blog page to be your “Blog” category in “Appearance – Menus”
OR
Option 2: you can use “Redirect Subpage” template for your “Blog” page to redirect to the first child page in this section (http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/14/0908/h_1410162204_2539798_47ab09817c.png)
2. Concerning th gaps and paddings – it would be better if you send me your logins and a link to this page, so i can check it on your code.
What concerns the strange top area behavior in Firefox – just log out from wp admin and everything should be fine.

A) in codeus we have used the location positioning based on latitude and longitude. To change it means to re-write this plugin. We will consider this update in future
you can replace these icons with columns, just deactivate all social icons in theme options – contacts&socials and use our columns shortcodes to get your columns in text area there
How do you make the Cart and Checkout responsive? Also Why does all the credit card plugins not show the fields in which you can type in?
We have used woocommerce for the shop, cart and checkout. We have styled the appropriate woo templates to be shown in codeus style. However we cannot change the layout itself, which is partially built on tables. Thats why this issue with woo responsiveness. Concerning credit card plugins – we have used only woocommerce, no other additional plugins, so i dont exactly know, what do you mean

I was able to remove the lines from single.php, I just could not figure out how to make a new .php template based on it. This seems to have solved my problem for the moment.

Hello, I have put the latest news on the home page with [news items_per_page=”3”] on a newpage and included it with the Home Constructor, but now the pagination doesn’t work.
When I call this newspage in a submenu it works fine.

Hi, if you mean pagination for news in home constructor, so it is not Shown in Codeus. You can define the number of the latest news to be shown and the url/link to the news page with the list of all news – here pagination is shown
Hi. Just a pre-purchase question. Is it possible to disable the cart system and replace the ADD TO CART button with maybe an Inquiry Form? Want to use the shop to just showcase my products and not yet ready to sell directly online. At the same time i still want to use some of the eCommerce features. I know there is a third party plugin that can do this for an extra $50 but I want it built in the theme.

All the other pages, it has the different header types, where you can just select and it appears on the page, but the post pages don’t have that option and it automatically generates the aqua green header, how can I change that?

Today, I switched the domain that my wordpress site is attached to. After resetting my Logo images whhich were broken, It looks like just about everything is working except my portfolio pages. They do not display the thumbnails (they show fine in the item setup), nor do they play the Vimeo videos.
