Version 7.0 is currently very difficult to use. Is version 6.7 unusable? I’m switching back to version 6, and the website keeps showing 404 errors. In version 7.0, clicking on variations doesn’t switch to the variation image, and even with variation media hidden, only the first variation image is displayed; clicking on other variation images doesn’t change anything. Secondly, the product page now has a variation table. For products with many variations, customers have to scroll down a very long way to see product details and reviews, significantly impacting conversion rates. I don’t know where to disable the variation table. In short, version 7.0 is a terrible experience; it feels like an unfinished product.

I saw that your version update today fixed the issue of image switching in variants, but there’s currently an problem. On the product page in this version, when you scroll down on mobile devices, the image gradually covers up and text appears, which significantly impacts conversion rates. Sidebar’s animation (Login/Cart) in V7 doesn’t feel like smooth compared to previous versions. I don’t know, but the animation is delayed for like 0.5s – 0.8s

Yes, that’s correct — version 6.7.6 is the latest update for Ella 6.
So many issues and bugs with this new 7 version. Thumbnails on mobile are showing as full images. The theme editor is so slow and laggy. Some of the changes do not reflect. Lots of testing and work to be done. It was not ready for publication in my opinion. Thank you

When filtering is set to Horizontal the theme displays only 1 product card per row. As soon as one goes back to Vertical filtering you get 4 product cards per row.

This is my first Shopify theme. I’m used to WordPress themes. How do we update the theme on Shopify? It seems more complicated, in fact, when I look in the Shopify dashboard it says: “Updates are not supported for uploaded themes If you want to take advantage of theme updates, you need to install a theme from the Theme Store.” This is unfortunate. Do you support Shopify’s new feature with 2048 variants per product with your theme to display all variants correctly? Shopify gives this error for the Elle theme version 6.6.2 with large variant product listing, and does not show all of them.

Shopify allows up to 3 options (such as size, color, or ingredient type) and 100 total variants per product. Regarding Square integration: Ella theme is designed to work seamlessly with Shopify’s ecosystem, including its native payment and POS systems. Our theme is available for purchase on Envato Market, where the licensing terms clearly state that one license is valid for a single store only. If you want to use the theme on multiple stores, you must purchase multiple licenses. You can review the full Envato licensing terms here: https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular02. Is the license automatically valid for your client’s Shopify store even though you are the purchaser?
=> The license and the theme source work independently. When you purchase the license, you only need to provide proof of purchase in these cases:

There is no activation or registration process required when installing the theme.
