Please note that the language function is a default Shopify feature, not a built-in custom function of the theme. To use multi-language functionality, you need to install an app. Shopify’s Translate & Adapt app supports automatic translation between two languages for free.

The issue on “quick search” – see search result page on “https://www.seller4less.com/search?q=Spanx&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&type=product” by searching “Spanx” – it also shows these items which do not have “spanx” at all -

Regarding your question: Ella’s Quick Search is integrated with Predictive Search provided by Shopify, which includes semantic matching. That means it may show related items (like those containing “spandex” or “Spanish”) even if they don’t contain the exact word “Spanx.”

To get more accurate results, you can encourage customers to search using quotation marks around the exact term, for example, “Spanx”. This performs a phrase search that returns results containing the exact word or phrase.

If you’d like more control over your store’s search behavior, consider using the Shopify Search & Discovery app, where you can adjust search relevance, create synonym groups, and manage product boosts to prioritize exact matches. However, note that semantic search is enabled by default on certain Shopify plans and stores with fewer than 200,000 products.

Is it possible to show a “video” when you click on a variant instead of the image that shows on the thumbnail.

what i don’t understand is the license thing so if i purchased your theme with regular license, can i use it on Shopify and sell my products ? or to sell products using your theme i should have the extended license ?

To clarify your question: If you purchase the Regular License, you’re fully allowed to use the Ella theme on your Shopify store to sell your own products. This license covers usage for a single store where you are the end user, including selling physical or digital products.

An Extended License is required if the end user must pay to use the end product. For example, if you use the theme on a website where users must pay to access the site or its content, then the Extended License would be required.

So, if you’re simply using the theme for your own store to sell your own products, the Regular License is sufficient.

The biggest difference is that Ella 6.0 is fully compatible with Shopify Online Store 2.0 and includes many new features and layouts. Updating your theme is entirely up to your needs and preferences. If you’re currently using version 5.1.0 and are satisfied with the design and functionality, there’s no immediate need to upgrade. However, if you’d like to take advantage of Shopify Online Store 2.0 features and enhancements, we recommend upgrading to version 6.0+. The newer version can be installed and customized in Draft Mode, allowing you to polish and refresh your store’s content and design before publishing.

Hello Team, In the Collection Page, if I set a banner image for any collection, it shows on every page of the collection. Say a collection has 10 pages, shouldn’t the banner image be limited to Page 1. Or is there a setting at the back-end where we can manually edit it to limit the banner image visibility?

I am using your theme and my support is expired but this is something an issue with the theme only which I just checked.. I noticed that I can’t set mobile menu.. I am using two sided menu on the desktop and in mobile only one side menu is coming. As per your demo if I use custom layout for mobile menu there is no way to select new mobile menu link. There are some big issues at your theme side with your schema builder files. Your theme is not completely SEO friendly if you have multiple variant in your stock.

Requested changes to the theme (to prevent future issues)

Use @type: “Product” + AggregateOffer + hasVariant consistently.

Normalize all prices to plain numbers (no commas).

Output GTINs as strings (| json).

Always reference variant availability for Offers.

Generate all images with HTTPS using image_url and JSON-escape.

Provide description fallback when empty.

Include productGroupID (top) and inProductGroupWithID (variants).

Add merchant return policy and shipping details (optional but recommended).

Ensure there’s only one Product JSON-LD on the page; when review apps (Judge.me) are enabled for SEO snippets, they should inject only ratings/reviews (or, if they inject Product too, the theme must not).

Use https://schema.org consistently (not http://).

If some variants are out of stock, you don’t want Google to label the whole product “Out of stock.” The fix is:

Set the AggregateOffer availability to InStock if ANY variant is in stock (not based on the current selected variant).

Keep per-variant availability inside hasVariant so Google sees which ones are OOS, but still shows the product as available overall.
