Hello, I have an issue with menu on iOS. The menu does not open at all on iPhones, specifically in Safari. The hamburger icon appears, but tapping it has no effect — the menu doesn’t expand.

I’ve tested this on multiple iPhone devices (iOS 16 and 17), and the issue is consistent. It seems like the tap event is not being detected properly in Safari on iOS.

Regarding the mobile menu issue, it could be caused by an app code conflict, we adjusted the function loading to address it. pre-sale : i have checked the theme before buying i would like to know it is possible to set left side bar to full height in product page, because my current them unable to do this. i saw the demo for left sidebar product page but it is not complete height the product tab description is having full width container

When you scroll down, the left sidebar stays fixed on the screen while the other sections (like the product description, related products, etc.) scroll beside it, and they match the size of the product information section here: https://prnt.sc/x9c1WBT3_5Z7

Currently, we don’t have an exact timeline for the next major update. However, we are continuously working on improving the theme with new features. Rest assured, when a new version is released, you will receive a notification from Envato via email.

Regarding updates, Ella is similar to other Shopify themes. When a new update is released, it will be a new core theme version, separate from the previous one you are using. This means any customizations made to previous versions won’t be automatically included in the update.

Payment methods are related to the platform rather than the theme itself. As far as we know, M-Pesa is not currently supported as a payment gateway by Shopify. However, Shopify does provide a list of supported payment gateways for Kenya, which you can consider using for your store.

Hi, I would like to buy Ella Theme but I need to be sure that will suit what I need.

1. I will have approx. 10k products and I don`t want to make an online shop. Will be a huge catalogue website without cart and buy buttons. In V2.0 I see that shopify made things easyer and you can remove buy/ add to cart button. Will be the same in Ella theme? 2. Because I have so many products, I will have the navigations Products-in 2nd level will have around 14-17 submenus with around 20 to 30 sub-submenus each. Is it possible to do something like this with your theme? I need exactly like this where the category tab will be my Products tab, and need to have it on mobile version as well. https://new-ella-demo.myshopify.com/?fts=0 3. In the product detail page I need to have custom.liquid to add a table with all my SKu, Barcode and price for all variations. 4. I need it to be customizable to be able to add custom codes in header and footer.

However, based on what you’ve seen in the demo, you should be able to set it up similarly on your store.

Q3: SKU, barcode, and price for variants are already available. However, each SKU, barcode, and price for all variants won’t display at once. They will only show when a specific variant is selected here: https://prnt.sc/VnHNpFGQMCZd

Sticky Header/ Menu is not smooth on product page. It has very annoying Jitter while scrolling down.

Secondly the thumbnails of the image does not show up from top left instead appearing in the middle left of the image, i can not see any option to make them appear on left top of the main image.

In-App Browser issue with Ella https://gulemohr.com/ Access using in-app browser like Instagram’s. ​The issue comes on in-app browsers where certain sections don’t load properly. Initially i thought it was due to videos as when I removed them they started working properly, I replaced them with banner images and again they are causing the same issue. The sections work fine on a second load/refresh. But this is really frustrating and causing issues for my ads. Could it be a conflict between the slideshow? that causes the carousels to malfunction? I am really liking this theme, it looks great! Love the flexibility and features I am seeing in the demo.

Quick question: if features are disabled would that help to improve page load performance?

While doing some testing with your demo I have noticed it’s not as quick as a Shopify Marketplace theme – but I think that is to be expected as this theme has many more features/code.

So, I’m just wondering if I were to disable/not use some features, would that help to increase page load speed? If it won’t help, do you have any tips on how I could achieve this with this theme?

Regarding your question about page load speed: yes, disabling unused features can help to improve your page load performance. While our theme is optimized with lazy loading images from the beginning, there are several other factors that may impact the speed of your store, such as:

- Apps

- Third-party libraries and services

- Analytic libraries payment

- Theme code

- The number and size of images and videos zip

To further optimize speed, we recommend ensuring that you’re only using the sections and features that you need for your store. If there are any sections you’re not using, it’s best to not include them in your theme to reduce unnecessary load.
