Thanks for the email. I’ve checked your site. You need to update your theme to the latest version (2.1). Currently you use 2.0.1.1 (I don’t know why you told me that you use latest version). If you want to remove these buttons simply deactivate Essu Likes and Share plugin.

Images on this page were added using Envira Gallery Lite. You can display title or caption below the image in this situation ( Screenshot). In next version I’ll add this functionality for other layouts (but I supposed it was done before).

So I noticed that on mobile and smaller screens, the title already automatically shows below the image. Can’t it be updated to show the title at all sizes/resolutions?
At this moment only with custom CSS modifications. In future updates I’ll add this option within portfolio settings.
I´ve an error when updated the version of visual composer. This is what the outhors of plugins says.
The issue is because the older visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is modified by the theme author by customizing the existing elements and adding the new one’s. Now when you update it, the customization made by the theme author is lost which causes the issue. You can check it with the theme author if there is any way to preserve the customization done by him with the latest version, so that such an issue can be avoided at your end.

Is there a way to have both video and images in a portfolio item? It seems that the Envira gallery allows for this (with an additional purchase) however it is a very inelegant solution (it forces a lightbox which doesn’t look good and doesn’t match the rest of your template). Is there a way to do this with a normal portfolio item post? Currently I can have either images OR video. Not both.

The reason is simple: page loading time.
The image inserted as a new article in the portfolio is displayed as a small image on the homepage even though the image is large.
Depends on homepage layout images has different size. For example if you use 3 columns grid layout than each image in the row has 384px width and 384px height. So if you set 1920×1080 (1mb) image as thumbnails for the project it will be resized to this size. As result it will reduce page loading time and make your page load faster. When you use 3 column masonry layout than your image width will be 384px. In this layout height of your image will be proportioned of original image ratio. I.e. original image 1920×1080px (0.5625 ratio). After resize this size becomes to 384×216px.
