Hi, i want to buy the Template but i have a question. Can you add the Gallery from the Wordpress Version into the HTML version

Thanks for you interest! No unfortunately not, that uses the Media Grid WordPress plugin ( https://codecanyon.net/item/media-grid-wordpress-responsive-portfolio/2218545?s_rank=1 ) which unfortunately doesn’t work in the HTML version.

PLEASE HELP!!! I cannot find the JW Player in the Flight Template

It keeps saying missing license key. Where do I put that?

While our template supports the use of JW Player, the JW Player is not included with the Flight Template. You will need to contact JW Player support: https://support.jwplayer.com/

Hi, I was wondering if I may use some of the photos you have in the demo folder? I am not sure if you allow that or not?

Thank you Peggy

Hi Peggy – The demo images are for demonstration purposes only, they are not for sale and licenses are not included with your theme purchase. Thanks for the question! :)

Okay, this is what I ended up doing and it seems to work okay this way: I put this back in: @font-face { font-family: ‘League Gothic Regular’; src: url(‘fonts/League_Gothic-webfont.eot’); src: url(‘fonts/League_Gothic-webfont.eot?#iefix’) format(‘embedded-opentype’), url(‘fonts/League_Gothic-webfont.woff’) format(‘woff’), url(‘fonts/League_Gothic-webfont.ttf’) format(‘truetype’), url(‘fonts/League_Gothic-webfont.svg#League Gothic Regular’) format(‘svg’); font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;

Once I put this back in I got my menu back and was able to adjust it. It also kept my open sans font on the front end.

Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate your quick response and professionalism :-)

Great, thanks for the update :)

This is the changes I made on the css sheet: .menu { position: absolute; top: 15em; letter-spacing: 0; font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Arial, sans-serif;

@font-face { font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Arial, sans-serif;

font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, .menu, .menu-desc, h1.logo, h1.logo-map, .small.button, .small.button:visited, .medium.button, .medium.button:visited, .large.button, .large.button:visited, .extra-large.button, .extra-large.button:visited { font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Arial, sans-serif;

If you switch it back does it start working again? Are you using the Google Font? Make sure you have <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans+Condensed" /> in your HTML head to load the font. Then try to just font-family: 'Open Sans Condensed'; in the CSS instead of font-family: ‘Open Sans Condensed’, Arial, sans-serif;. Let me know if that fixes :)

Hi, Yes the menu disappears completely. I have adjusted the font everywhere to smaller and still don’t see it?

Thanks :-)

See other reply :)

Hi I am trying to change the font. When I replace the default font with Open Sans Condensed, everything looks good except I loose the side flight menu? Can you please help me trouble shoot?

Thank you Peggy

Hi Peggy – Does the menu disappear completely? Or what happens exactly? Have you tried adjusting the font size? :)

very complete, good job!;

Thanks! :)

Hi, great template. I did purcase the html version but i have a strange thing about using tables… When i use a table the tekst and image into that table have no regular layout, also no borders… In my editor is the html code fine. Example: http://www.regio-pixel.nl/example/features.html

Hi, thanks for your purchase! Because the template doesn’t use tables there is no styling the CSS for tables, so you would have to specify those styles. There is no borders because the CSS resets everything to zero to level the playing field.

There is column layouts in the grid system that typically people us in place of tables now, the template is all setup for it as it shows below your table. :)

Hi – Just bought the template and was wondering if there is a way to feature a youtube video in the slider? Basically I’d like to turn the slider area into a large video player to play a single video (no slider function required).

Cheers, B

Thanks for your purchase! On the WordPress version it is supported out of the box, but the HTML version uses Blueberry (a different slider). It would require some customization. This would be a good starting point: http://blog.leecarmichael.com/2012/09/blueberry-image-slider-and-youtube.html

Over the last few months I’ve been browsing for a new look for my photography site. For the last 2 nights I narrowed it down to 4 different choices and finally pulled the trigger on Flight. It’s scary for some of us who know just enough to get into trouble but when I opened the Flight User Manual I almost wet my pants! Outstanding documentation! The time and effort you put into that alone must have been staggering. Your customer support responses are considerate and helpful compared to many others I’ve looked at. I am looking forward to finally putting Rapidweaver to rest and bringing my photography site a new look!

Thanks! :)

Great theme. but i cannot get social to show in either header, footer nor elsewhere.

I see you have registered on our Support website, please send us your website details and we would be happy to have a look and help you resolve! Thanks! :)

hi, great theme and support!

it’s possible to add the href link on the logo image? http://goo.gl/6yiM6l Thanks

Thanks giranapoli! :)

To add a link to the logo go to header.php (or add to Child Theme) located at wp-content/themes/flight/header.php and on line 162 you should see: <?php echo header_logo(); ?>

Simply replace it with this:

<a href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>"><?php echo header_logo(); ?></a>

Hello, i have a question

the target page of the social links open parent. It’s possible to open the social page in new window ?

thanks

We have updated the theme to include this feature for you. It should be available on ThemeForest shortly (version 2.7) :) Thanks for the suggestion!

Am looking at purchasing this. Before i do can I confirm that the gap between the top of the page and the middle box (where the logo sits) can be removed?

Cheers

S.A.M

Yes, this is just a CSS modification. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Thanks :)

Hello, I have used the classic portfolio 3-column and the 13th image (row 5, left image) does not display. Or, more accurately, the page places a gap between images 12 and 13. I have tried moving the images around but a gap always appears there. Like this. Have you seen this before?

It is difficult to pinpoint without seeing it, but for sure you have done something wrong :) If you are in doubt, you can copy the 12 portfolio items in our demo and paste them underneath the first 12 and you will see that all 24 work perfectly together.

Things to check:

1.) Make sure you have the items in each row in the proper sequence: one-third, one-third, one-third-last

2.) Make sure that your images are all the identical size

3.) Make sure you haven’t started your 13th item after the floats are cleared with the break ‘clear-space’

4.) Make sure your tags are all properly closed and that your code validates at http://validator.w3.org/

We are happy to have a look at it and pinpoint the problem if you want to open a proper Support Ticket with your website details.

Thanks for your purchase! :)

Thanks! That was it – no. 2. It was only out by 1px in height but clearly that was enough.

Awesome, glad you got it resolved! Thanks for letting us know :)

Hello,

I have a problem with this template when we use iPhone4 and iPhone5, after few second, many images that was previously loaded just disapearing! http://goo.gl/2Cf2Le

Have you ever encounter that kind of problem ?

Even after those corrections, it remain that after few second, many images, like the main logo will disappear! Only when using iPhone4 and iPhone5… on iPad it is perfect! :(

You should have used the index-static.html as your starting template for a static image background, rather then just loading 1 image in the slideshow. It seems like all of the inline javascript wtih document.write’s for those 3 sliders you have added is conflicting with the background slideshow. You will notice it is as soon as those 3 sliders load that the background disappears. I tried to download the site to attempt to change it myself but the way you have it setup with the language translation PHP makes it impossible to download and work with locally. Try disabling the /js/slideshow/slideshow.js and /js/slideshow/slideshow.pictures.js and then implement the static image background (setup and demonstrated in the index-static.html file) by adding div id="static" undearneath your body id="body" tag. Then rename your background image and move it to /images/background/static.jpg (or change the .static class in the style.css to point to your image).

Either way it is definitely something you have added as we have never seen this sort of behavior before in our development or on any of the customer sites I have worked with.

Hope this helps! :)

You deserves the five stars I gave you! :) Thank you very much!

Beautiful theme, and almost exactly what I’ve been looking for—but the WordPress version has a default ‘Gallery’ page that I need in the HTML version. Is that included and I’ve just missed it in the files listing, or is that not possible in the HTML version, or…? Thanks, Mik

The Media Grid gallery is not available in an HTML version, it is a PHP-driven WordPress plugin. If you find a similar jQuery masonry grid for HTML we could probably incorporate it though, but it would be a bit more difficult to use without the drag-and-drop grid preview interface that is included with the WordPress version. Thanks! :)

Hello, Before I buy, I would like to know… Is it easy to turn off the bar that runs across the page when I point the menu?

Yes it is very easy to disable this, in fact nothing is required in a sense, just don’t insert any code into the anchor link – ie data-title="Fly out description comments would go here". :) The WordPress version will be very similar, you just wouldn’t populate those Description fields in the menu.

Super! Thank you! :)

Hi! This is a very nice theme!

I wonder if it is easy to have multi-level image gallery, where some items can be folders, leading to another gallery. I can handle the required php code, but has the theme some support for that?

regards, Vlad

Sure, you can create as many as you want and set the structure up however you want. :) Thanks for your interest!
